Excellent video Jesse of this very impressive Piper PA-31. Twin-engined general aviation aircraft are always great to see. I also like the registration C-FFFC.
Wow, first i see a engine run-up at Nelson, Jesse 👌 Excellent catch, sound, action and video👍 From me a double thumbs up and best greetings from south Germany, Volker 👋 👋
A timelessly classic beauty of General Aviation, the Colemill enhancements make it look more ambitious, like a turboprop. Awesome right turn and climb! Perfect 10 for the livery - and for Your Filming, of course. May it remain so forever! Thanks a lot, Jesse! Have a Great Weekend!
Thanks so much Javier! I have got to agree, the Navajo is a beauty and the Colemill conversion gives them a nice modern look (and probably performance too!) Thanks my friend, hope you're having a great weekend as well.
Jesse my good friend, great catch/video, these are rare in my area. My fave route, down the valley, & i like the way they swirled the red pin stripes on the backside of the engines. He banked early after rotating, earlier than most of the planes you video on that departure route, also the panther has a nice wide spread on wing width, appx. 12-18 inches more on each wing compared to most in its class, nicely filmed pal. btw, if you can, i'd like to see some more videos of that higher point angle/birds eye view, those are nice.
Thanks very much Steve, I'm glad you enjoyed seeing this Navajo departing CZNL! Alright, I'll try to catch something from the raised level again soon, that was a fun location to try spotting at. Hopefully we'll get some traffic soon 😂
Reminds me of the Orca days at YVR, we used to have a dozen doing engine runs, have to say I didn't particularly like the sound, but I miss it now they - and KD & IAX - are gone.
That's sad to hear they're all gone from YVR. I used to get to see Orca and KD Air pass through CZNL every once in awhile. I hope some of their Navajo's are getting to fly on somewhere else and not just rotting away!
@@TheHDAviation a few got new lives, but here is about a third of the once 15 strong fleet indeed rotting away. www.flickr.com/photos/23870098@N04/49615334798/in/photolist-2iAkyVa-2iAkysS-2jh9V2C-2jeFMyz-2ikVgUD-2i98eTT-2i9bH1w-2gDVkmf-2gySqew-2gqhaC4-2gmGVu8-RDjPdz-2drKMLV-2bX6S9e-2b548t5-29JKqLb-294rBDy-28wNsmF-K2DX2g-Lk6jwb KD have rebranded Cascadia Air out of YBL, but most of the fleet is still at YPK. I think IAX are still grounded, they have a Chieftain impounded at Qualicum for ages
This run-up points to the need to verify your engines systems are all functioning perfectly because the terrain around Nelson doesn´t look like it forgives mistakes on take-off.

Hello Matt my good friend, i agree with your post/opinion, God bless you & yours.

Thanks so much Matt! This nice Navajo was a fun one to film. Very true, it is a pretty cool reg!

Around the 4:05 mark, love the silhouette of the aircraft, once the gear is up, as it banks and lifts out. Nice looking wing.
beautiful video of this piper and the engine run ups and take off into the beautiful british columbia landscape! thanks for sharing
The Navajo is such an amazing bird. Fantastic catch man! The ground effect and bank was really cool
I agree, always love seeing a Navajo! Thanks for watching.

The landscape around the Nelson Airport provides the perfect backdrop for any aircraft. Great video!
Fantastic shots of this Piper, what a cool airplane! The livery reminds me of the Kalitta air livery :) Enjoyed!
Thanks a lot Mylos! True, it is very similar to Kalitta Air,
That run-up was pretty damn awesome. Love the flat rotation and early gear up.
Excellent catch Jesse, love this Navajo Panther, sure would love to fly in it. 😎👍
Thanks a lot Ed! Bet they'd be fun ones to get up in some time.
Nice!!! You caught and posted the run up as well! Great video - thanks!
Thanks a lot! This Navajo was fun to see passing through CZNL.
Really beautiful plane, awesome catch!
The takeoff was awsome!
Awesome catch! I hear and see those all the time!
Wow friend, that is great that you are able to view them that often, they are rare in my area
@@stevelogan5475 indeed my friend and great to hear!
Awesome! Full watch with high quality 👍🏻
Nice video 👍 Love that sound 😎
Great sounds on that run up! Great video :)
Really stunning video mate! Liked!
Thanks a lot!
Beautiful video. I love the bank right after takeoff!
I worked at Colemill pulling wrenches on these beauties....love this airplane.
Lovely sound
Beautiful catch!
Thanks a lot!

No waiting to 400’, before turning on course 😊 👌
Loved it
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the video!
This is my favorite Muti engine piston twin aircraft that I want to fly again
I'd love to have a flight in one some day and see what they're like. Bet they were fun to fly!

these went out of production in 1984
Same year its replacement was introduced .. the Cessna Caravan.
Wow, amazing videos, o love turboprops. Wich camera do you use?
Little heavy? Or hot maybe, but I've said it before and I'll say it again. YEEHAW!!
Flat six and three blade propeller probably sounds better than PT6...
These nice twin piston's do sound pretty good!
The plane taxiing toward the beginning of the runway and suddenly turns and makes a check then turns again to the threshold for takeoff.Weird
Ya, that was interesting to see. I was a little worried they were going to take off from the point they were doing the engine run-ups!
Ese es mucho avión ✈
Onde é este aeroporto?
British Columbia, Canada.

Guess, someone saw a camera... 😉
My plane.
He used up a lot of real estate. Was it hot?
