Larry Bird was an anomaly. He was unassuming because they all thought he was slow and couldn't jump as high as most. But his basketball IQ was second to no one. They all found out the hard way that he was an assassin. People can put Jordan, LeBron, or whomever. But I will always consider Larry the GOAT.
Bird is definitely over Jokic. Bird played both ends of the court. His defense and hustle was unusual for a super star. Bird never gave an inch, or slacked one second on defense. Additionally he has so many legendary and iconic games and individual plays, that it almost seems like his entire career was one big highlight reel. I think his Ultimate Mix Tape highlights all of his skills and talents. And if Rodman played today, he'd be on a WNBA team. LOL.

In today's era not only could he score from anywhere but three pt shots are tossed up alot and while he didn't shoot a lot of threes in games he did win the three pt contest three years in a row. Had bird not hurt his back his legacy as large as it is would have been unthinkable. He had that intensity that you can't teach and all the greats in any sport had it. It's laughable that was said about him but there are ppl that wants to stay relevant , Dr won't bird will always be named one of the Greats.
