Rather than enforcing them, I thought games like this encouraged subversion of gender roles by allowing men and women to portray stereotypes in opposition to their usual positions?
There was a forced ad before this that I wasn't paying attention to that ended with "a W. C. that cleans you with water". And this sentence half goes into my head whilst I'm looking up to see a rather arse-looking heart icon next to a brand name I'd set myself to ignore. Wat. I'm having a bit of a crisis here. Is that an actual ad that's on TH-cam or am I having one of my more lurid flashbacks?
Oh wait, it played at the end again. Well done Gebrit Aquaclean. You combined an arse and a heart to make an innovative logo. To tell us all that you love arse. Sorry. Good job on the show Mr. Sponge.
I don't know all that much about my ancestry, but if you're curious, I come from the Ross Clan, they were fishing people. god help you if you challenge a Ross to a water fight, you'l be completely soaked by the end of it.
I was trying to find this on Tabletop Simulator so I could try it for free with friends online but it wasn't on there, does anyone know of any similar games that I could find on there or something?
Not my ancestry, I think my 19th century ancestors were the Victorian equivalent of peons. Probably shop-workers or... honestly I haven't the foggiest. Don't think my family's all that upper class really. So instead of nice dresses and shoes it was basic necessities and babies.
Great video, disappointing game. I was incredibly excited to get this game, however since we typically only have 4 players, its not that great. Even played it with six people, still a little lacking. The tile flipping portion for the gentlemen is dull with 2-3 players, definately need 4-5. I need to try this game with 8-10 people, hopefully it will be better.
I don't like these vids, It reminds me that I have no Boardgames to play and no friends to play them with... T_T Still Loved the Review, wish I could play it some day...
As a fellow Australian, may I suggest that you check out your local games society? I know that there's a ton around and I've met many, many great people through these societies. Try boardgamesaustralia(dot)org. You won't be disappointed if you tag along to an event.
Bigoted games like these that enforce sexist gender roles can cause a lot of pain to trans individuals, I think you should consider editing or taking down this video.
So THAT'S what's wrong with my scones! I keep forgetting to forget to use the vanilla extract.
When you lift the scone at 13:16, there's a smiley face in the flour!!! YOU'RE FORREST GUMP!!
The cooking segment was hilarious. To be honest, I would be happy if The Opener just became a half-hour of that.
Most amusing cooking show I've ever seen. I haven't seen The Opener before, but I always like finding out about new board games.
I'm completely blown away by how these guys keep finding ways to make me laugh using just an egg.
I forgot how funny this episode was.

this was worth it to see matt lees in a dress
Curse you, SU&SD, for getting another interesting game out of print! Stop talking about good games before I buy them! :D
Great addition to the usual duo, Matt Lees is fantastic in this. Excellent review, great performance, and I look forward to more fantastic content.

LEGENDARY VIDEO!! Been years since Ive seen it on the SU&SD channel... Matt is a comedic genius!
Laughing at ones ancestors...My ancestors where the Picts, ya know, the Scottish guys who'd Paint themselves blue and Run Nude onto the Battle field.
That cigar just made me laugh quite loudly. Thanks, needed that!
Many of us had parents who did the same thing, but without the battle bit.
I broke out into so many chuckles watching this!!!!
Add approximately: some milk.
Did this review of a board game turn into a cooking show there at the end? haha
Great review! Game looks funny as hell.
I say my good man, are you eating your cigar?
I can't believe I've never seen this show, great episode!
Goddamn that man is funny.
My boyfriend informed me of this game last week. Now I'd like to purchase and play it during next house party.
LOVE THESE GUYS! Love SU&SD. :)
If you guys ever review tabletop RPGs -- Please review ICONS! :D

Heaven's to Betsy! Quit apologizing for history. Believe it or not, we understand the concept of anachronism.
I have never found any in my area sadly. The best is up in Brisbane which is around 3hrs away... T_T
I almost stopped the video when the cooking segment started. That would have been a horrible mistake.
This was phenomenal! Well done.

Who else thought that this was a parody of Hysterical Literature from the thumbnail.
That dress looks surprisingly decent on you
You should narrate documentaries.
He pulls off the women's clothes pretty well.
Awesome. Love it.
this was awesome

The sketch would work better if you weren't workin' that dress.
Um....who the fuck is this guy?
boring :(
I want Paul and Quinns!
