That is incredible.... thanks for sharing the video . I have never hunted coyotes, but we just moved and there are a lot out here where I live . So maybe I will .
I live in upstate NY and all my neighbors are Amish. We need to do this as the coyote population here is out of control and this looks like allot of fun.
What part of ny you from
@@nicholasyoungs9263 Fulton/ Montgomery county line. Which is an hour west of Albany and North of it. I have an Amish neighbor with 76 grandchildren and counting.
@@sandych33ks1 wow I'm a hour north eastish from Watertown
Their out of control every where even in mass
Hey, I’m in Parish! Small world! Haha
First time seeing your channel, I’m a big fan off outdoor adventures videos made by good people. This was something new to me a driven coyote hunt. But thank you for sharing. No cussing no fussing just hunting and outdoor fun for the whole family. Wish you and yours the best of life from me and mine in NC mountains. Gods speed bud. 🎥🥇🥇🥇👍🙏🏻
Oooooooooo9
Fancy seeing you here, Joel!! 😁😁🙏🏻👍🏻
Heck yeah Jordan! Really enjoy the videos my guy! Keep it up!
Wow this was awesome! What state is this? Kansas or Nebraska?
It's a shame that fur isn't in demand and trappers can't afford to trap. Great job by the community for the community.
A buyer did come pick them up! I don’t know that he gave much for them though
What are you talking about? Here in Wisconsin coyotes hides are absolutely sought after. People make little ass rugs or even big blankets out of them. And they are expensive to buy
It’s a shame that the non Amish have to make money to do something sensible
@@JordansHarvestno market in illinois.
what
Totally absolutely agree I'd love to get into that kind of a hunt. I mean the coyotes one!!!!!!
As always man it’s amazing!!! That Kent fast lead is great. I have been using 6 shot on upland
Love the video. I was out coyote calling in Amish country two weekends ago. I should have got them to organize and I would have gotten more dogs. It is fun to see them running around in horse buggies.
“Think like a mountain goat” fantastic😂
I'm in. Pretty sure you could use a helicopter and some door gunners. I'm in for that, too. The best part of the video are all the deer running around. Oh, and I'm in on a deer drive too.
We Need A Wolf Drive In Montana.
Awesome video enjoyed it very much. Congratulations to all you guys
This looks like so much fun! Do you also hosh hunt?
Do you ever get to be one of the shooters set up or always a driver? I know we have a deer drive, I think the last day of muzzle loading, and it took me a couple years of being a driver to finally get to sit and wait on some deer being driven towards me lol.
Nice round up. I have been camping at had coyotes howl all the way around you is an uneasy sleep in a tent.
Love drive hunting Great video Jordan 👍🏻
Thanks so much!!!
Jordan me and my best friend today was walking across the road to our vehicles, and I seen Two Coyote`s walk across the road about 100 yards above us. That was cool I liked it and to see all them Deer can`t wait to see part 2 Thanks Jordan enjoyed it
Sweet. Just like a South Dakota Pheasant hunt in Late winter, except with not as many people.
Never seen nothing like it. Looks fun as long it is for a good reason.
You might have never seen "nothing" like it, but I've never seen ANYTHING like it!
M8 cheers on y'alls succes 100 plus coyutes (as the north east Canadians would say .) I would dare say one of your best videos hunting that is . Keep up the good work. God bless y'all.
“A discharge of the fecal variety” 🤣😂
Too bad this doesn't happen in Western NY any more. I remember going on an organized fox hunt in the late 60's early 70's (before coyotes were in our area) and we had Uhaul trucks to move all the hunters. When we left there were 22 fox hanging and the local news was there to cover the story.
Roadrunner revenge!! Awesome video! Had to be a great time
Jordan that is definitely awesome that you guys was able to put the smack down on just a few coyotes!! Hopefully that will put a damper on the dogs for sure!!! Is there any of those coyote hunts in Iowa that you no of at all??? Remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!!
How does one get to participate in one of these luscious dirt dog drives??? Love to drive some dogs !!!! Thanks
This plan seem like a great way to get absolutely trucked by a deer 😆
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
108 less poultry/small livestock destroyers!
Sure wish I could get some of those pelts to tan, though.
Awesome! Like shooting fish in a barrel. It's quite a challenging sport, isn't it?
That's wild. just out of curiosity how many men do you have on the line for a drive like that. I have hunted coyotes before but it is the old school loud speaker and couple of guys with rifles. that was wild dude looks awesome.
Those numbers probly didn't even put a dent into coyote population, but still good job 👏
I'm guessing this is down by Garnett, Kansas? I participated in the coyote drive there 8 or 9 years ago.
Holy smoke!108 coyotes! Great bit of pest destruction, should make the farmers happy with those guys out of the way.Looking forward to next part. Keep dropping them ,from Australia
10:08 - Here comes a "hush"! As a German I am always surprised when I see the impact our language has left overseas! In German the word for deer is "Hirsch". It would be very interesting to hear about the Amish from Your perspective as a kind of insider, maybe You could do a video about them?
The Amish are Germanic in origin. Many still speak German.
Amish still speak German at home they only speak English when dealing with outsiders
i need to join at one point in my life looks likes like so much fun
What state are you hunting?? Doesn't anyone trap them??
Do the farmers allow anyone to trap them??
Good video I live in montana there are times we hear them talking to each other , must be 50 at a time we can kill them on site, I have 5 of them mounted and one at the Tanner y soon to be number 6 and one coyote hat
Looks like the best kind of hunting ever!
This is hunting? Yeah ... right. This is a slaughter. Plain and simple.
@@clayoreilly4553 its providing an excellent community service. get over yourself.
Wow, the haash we’re going crazy.
Bud these coyote drives are very interesting. Love the content. These drives and your trapping videos are my favorite.
Roadrunner crew providing an excellent community service.
Well done!
I have an Remington eleven hundred with a factory full 30 inch barrel. I use no.4 3 in. Nitro Express on them out to about 30 yds it's like using a slug.
Is that the moon or one of those Chinese balloons in the sky? 😂
I never seen it done like this. Cool as it can be. Take the population down some.
This looks like a blast 💥😂😂👍🏻When coyotes showed in Maine in the sixties the deer population fell drastically ever sense . They blamed it on hunting and regulations began hammering our food staple
You are a sick individual 🤪get off on killing do you 🤔
I was at the drive as well great video and had a blast
Hey, GREAT FOOD is always better than winning a new gun at a raffle especially an Amish spread!
Is it a shot gun only??
Shooting #4 shot is that 4 buck or 4 shot. There is more shot in 4 shot but more punch in #4 buck. I have always used #4 buck 2 3/4" about 21 to 25 pellets and is the perfect 'yote medicine when sitting and calling. I have never participated in a drive like this. It looks like a blast
I would love to take part in this, would you guys let an outsider join for a day?
Dude it was awesome to be in that hunt. I didn’t see my self in the video but I was there. An I am from VA 👌👌👌👊🏻👊🏻👊🏽
Thank you for thanking the Lord. I didn't know people still did that.
Love these videos brother!
When you do shoot what kind of range do you shoot within?
How do you get in on one of these drives? That looks like fun.
Be Amish... lol
awesome video! great job!
Thank you!
What do they do with the dead bodies?
very cool I wish they did this in Ca
Quick questions: Nice video about the capture of the game. How did you cook them? Do they taste like lamb?
They taste like dog, they are dogs.
I saw one guy cut up cook in oven then bbq.
Amish Ninja Warrior!!!!!! Love it
Thanks for sharing again this year!
Thanks for watching!!!
@@JordansHarvest I told my 82 yr old dad about this event and videos today. Although I am sure he would never make a comment, I hope he does take the time to watch. He is who taught me about coyotes...as his dad taught him. When I mentioned this event to him, he said he can recall hearing his parents and grandparents talking about doing similar coyote drives 100+ years ago (many not done by the Amish, just groups of rural people getting together).😎
108 coyotes and about 2000 rds...love to be a sporting goods store in the area selling rounds😮
I wish people in my area would organize and do this. It’s getting out of hand here b
Great video the channel sure has grown since the beginning my channel is to I just got my 3 sub so excited keep up the great work man 👍
Great job on the video 👍
This is interesting and enjoyable.
What city and state where are you hunting these coyotes?
always watching your videos..
Make some warm winter coats outta them for homeless! 👍
14:53 the deer head. Did he find it dead or what?
Wish people around western Pennsylvania would do this we are getting over ran with these things nice to see a good way of getting rid of some of em 👍🇺🇸
Got me with the thumbnail.
I laughed at 10:00. You think those briars are bad? Still chuckling. Where I hunt in the south, everywhere that light gets to and not in the big woods are briars sometimes 8 or 10 feet tall. I've never hunted on land that looks like the property you're on.
i miss the pigeon Jordan but i guess hunting is his passion, all good
What state and what time year they do this?
You have to be careful with how much coyotes you take out. Central Texas had bounties on them for years and now look at the deer, they are small and over populated! It’s getting better there now I’ve heard!
This hunt has been happening as long as I can remember. I think we would have to cover much more ground and more then once a year before we would make a huge impact
It wouldn't hurt taking all coyote out. Here in pa. I remember before we had coyote the deer was big then. So
@@mikegreenawalt4726 I remember my dad telling me that the ranchers in central Texas paid so much money for coyotes in that area that the deer became so populated that they were smaller. I went several years ago around the llano area that they were very small and they we’re very numerous! I don’t know if that practice is still in practice I don’t know!
Coyotes have little to no impact on deer populations....coyotes are by nature lone hunters and only start hunting in packs when their natural prey, rodents, squirrels, rabbits, and groundhogs become depleted. Coyotes kill mostly diseased, wounded and an occasional fawn deer but rarely can take down a healthy adult deer. Man is the only animal who has an impact on deer populations, killing hundreds of thousands each year by legal and illegal hunting in most states, not to mention the thousands that are killed by motor vehicles. Killing coyotes is bad for the health of the ecosystem unless you have an over population...coyotes eat a lot of mice, rats, and even snakes and eliminating them can bring an unwanted explosion of those creatures. There's an old Indian saying that says killing coyotes (the song dog) will bring bad luck!
Deer population should jump big time.
You dog you, your just there for the Food !! [ I don't blame you].
That looks like all kinds of fun.
What's an amish?never heard of those that in England I like the hunts with Longdogs aka greyhounds in usa lurchers europe
Your English is amazing, where did you go to school 😂
Wow that's a lot of dogs....wish we could do that here.
Do they furnish all the cold beer
spotters are good ideas better than attempting to distinguish betwixt blurs streaking across a field. I risk fits of manmade no-no words, if not suppressing criminally or corruptly organized mismanagements
Never shoot something you can’t identify. Saying that, I have been mistaken before but never on a coyote!
Not sure what your calling “criminally or corruptly organized mismanagements” but those things sound like they shouldn’t exist.
Seen over 300 dead coyotes this past January in our coyote derby we have, never seen anything like it before but there was a $26,000 cash prize for whoever gets the most. There was around 100 teams 3 people per team I ended up getting 6 on my own. It’s a 2 1/2 day hunt👍🏽 seeing that many dead coyotes in a pile was crazy. Fur buyers had a blast that day
Coyotes are big trouble that’s why I have llamas and donkeys
What state are you hunting?
Lol I have to use the Kent fast lead 4’s for pheasant in my part of this world.
I would love to use bigger shot but safety and rules are definitely the priority!
Where does this take place I’m from Lancaster PA and I’d love to take part in it
Where did you learn to speak Dutch deer 🦌 hash lol
As of many years ago, Insurance companies have paid individuals to raise - turn loose coyote pups to lower number of deer/ vehicle collisions/ Insurance claims.
.
I suspect this was not limited to one state.
We need these Amish fellows to come handle these coyotes down here
If Bigfoot was out there, these guys would've found him.
I went coyote hunting today in a side by side. It was awesome. Can't wait to do it again.
Keep on keeping on
Do you eat them?
Where is this located? I did one in southern ohio a few years ago and would like to get in on another.
Fellow Ohioan. Where was the one in southern ohio?
@@Freakingstang amanda ohio
Hey. Do you know of any in pennsylvania
i love watching these coyote drives they are awesome
From watching you tube videos this year, hunters in the south that use hounds saw an increased number of coyotes this year. And some act viscious to the dogs...they appear to be more aggressive to hounds.
That looks like a great day
Love these videos
Is this In P.A. ? I would love to join in on this
Is that dive bomb jacket warm?
