I've just been processing them all and getting as many Golden pearls as possible is this a decent substitute?
Also the Port Ratt location? is that only viable to people with decent boats? I have a rowboat and I know I can't get there on that so I would have to travel their via NPC how would I get my resources back? do maids work over there? can I transport product from the storage there to velia?
OH NO! the Giant Pearl Oysters you want to take to Valencia with a Master 2 trade buff! they are worth 300-333k per turn in at that level. That is if you have the inventory space. the other trade items I place on my boat and save them up

Just swam out there, no monsters. Now the margoria sea isnt full of aggro monsters as well, just drive in a straight line and you will out run the few that you encounter.
Spots allways empty, doesnt work anymore, it is not profitable if you have to wait for 15 minutes with an empty channel, you earn more grinding or even cooking other shit
Of course the spot will be empty if you are attempting to do this during prime time. Have you checked the 2 other decent spots out in the Margoria Sea?

Also I'm really knew to crafting and gathering, What do you think is a reasonable amount I can make from doing this? I'm aware I will get nowhere near your numbers but I am just starting my crafting en-devours and I decided now I have some trade routes on the main land for passive income I will give this a shot. So far so good.

What you describe should get you to the cap though (which i assumed to be 1 sec): 10(not sure) sec base - 1sec tool - 5sec clothing - 2sec pearl - 0.5sec teff - 1.4sec alchstone = 0.1sec (would love it if that was possible :P)
I use a lvl 3 cooking outift and a cook (p2w) costum then I activate my alchemy stone which give -1.4 seconds and eat teff sandwhich of take a Verdure Elixer that takes me to like 0.8s cook time but i thik 1s is the lowest it actually goes to

Dry the giant oysters and use the golden pearls you get to make blue horse gear.
Or marketplace them, the pearls list for 500k, I've seen them sell for 5mil preorders.

dry lobsters, trade giant pearl oysters, unless you need golden pearls then you dry them.

Sorry I missed this comment, you can do seaweed and other gatherables in the area but it isnt a great return on the energy spent.

the crystals and potion are needed for sure. just to help you stay underwater longer.

Just swam out there, no monsters. Now the margoria sea isnt full of aggro monsters as well, just drive in a straight line and you will out run the few that you encounter.
why do you need 720 lobsters if you are only doing 360 cooks? Butter roasted lobster only seems to use 1 lobster?

I dont know the price of them in game anymore as I havent played for 3-4 months, however you have to take into account all the trade items as well.
