We started to do our own gk runs as a guild and avoid the gk discord. Instead of having there ch fked up they decided to give us our own "static ch". After a day of having our static ch's manup started to cry about it and got us all booted from the gk discord. We kept contesting them and I'm glad you are doing it and getting other people to do it =D. Keep it up!!

Most of the games nowadays aren't designed or competitive friendly. They are mostly designed on overpowered gear pvp, which will most of the time carry whoever has best gear with ease. I don't know how old you are, but I am 30 and back in the days games had a gear level cap reachable by everyone. Players would have to make choices on how to manage their gear and what they wanted on it to get the best out of their class/play style. So your choices, knowledge about the game and skillz would make you better or not. Games mostly give u gear ready to go, you don't really have any other choice nowadays just to use what is the best and overpower everyone, call them shit to boost ego. I feel like games are less complicated overall and players need less knowledge or study about what they do or need to do to win or get better, which led to ascension of the toxic community we have nowadays were people have no respect for each other. Trash talking has always been in game but for realistic reasons, players still respected each other for what they represented in game or for their abilities. Nowadays I hardly see that. Most of the games that comes out that requires players to actually be good and gear won't impact much on competitive, dies within 2 months. Players are lazy and wanna just win for win, not because they were better.
Most mmo players dont like people to discover their farm method. Why? Because if everyone knows they will not make the same ammount of money selling things or the places will be more contested. Same happened to me in GW2

We're talking a long time ago to be honest. Like, roughly a few weeks after they first came out. If people pay attention to patch notes, pay attention to KR, and research shit themselves, generally surprises like this is.. well, not a surprise. That said, good on you for spreading the word. Personally, I understand the reasoning behind not sharing information in the game. With this, gatekeepers, I highly doubt it would drop in profit per hour due to how limited the mobs are, but when it comes to other things(like lifeskill money making shit), information sharing is typically a bad thing. You end up having more supply than the demand can deal with and crashing a market. At least with GK's that can't really happen.
The reason why you need 220 or near that with kutum is because you need to kill them fast enough to beat the channel cooldowns or you arent going to make 30 mil an hour. You will also die a ton if you have 250 ap so make sure you dont have expensive crystals or gl with losing them
I appreciate the info regarding the respawn timers on GKs. While nothing was really hidden it just wasn't previously advertised to the entire world. gk groups have been going on ever since they were released its not some mystery you just need gear to efficiently do them. also there is gyfins now which is abou tthe equivalent/ better if you get tungrad belts .

Node set ups are a little bit more controversial. I can do a base trading set up guide for crates. But stuff that affects market directly in general ruins it for everyone. So if that makes sense, i could set up the basics.

You need 5 well-equipped people. The more people hunt Gatekeepers, the fewer you find them. Respawn is long. There is a lot of PVP (sometimes). It is a very unstable income with a lot of "but".

You can run GK with full duo gear tbh and with basic buffs

Active playing is the worst way to make silver. Trust me. You can make 100mil per day doing nothing and there are tons of vids tell you how.
