My dream country romania i really amaze the place very beautiful.
Awesome country indeed. I went there on a dental holiday & while I was there I walked off the street into a clinic to enquire about having an annoying mole removed from my back - no form filling, no waiting & 15mins later job done. I can't wait to return again soon.

I am going to Romania next month, hopefully find the perfect place for our holiday home - hoping to get the perfect middle-of-no-where Romanian Ruin to make our dream house, once we get it renovated!

We can recommend Transylvania. Its full of little villages hidden between the hills :)

Nice solid house. I hope you might retain some of the original features like the metal screens on the doors and windows. Looking forward to watching you renovate it. I am not familiar with Romania so are you close to a city or many miles from anywhere? What made you choose the location?

We will try to keep some of the classic aspects on the exterior. Also some of the interior doors we wish to maintain, as they are beautiful.
We are only 30 minutes from a big city. The large land next to the house was what we searched for, somewhat dificult to find. The slightly remote location, yet with utilities available, made it that most of our wishes came true.

We are in the Transylvanian Highlands. The area is full with hills and little remote villages like this :)

that looks like a lot of work, hope the amount you paid for it was decent....judging by the terrain, it looks like the sub-carpathians, if the house doesn't have a proper foundation, take it down
