Good job!! What valve clearnance did you do Intake 0.06-0.14mm Exhaust take 0.11-0.19mm You start with 0.14? To see if it has clearness over 0.14 And set it 0.10mm ?
They are not closed at the same time. Feel for compression (suction) with your thumb on the carburetor air intake as you crank the motor for the intake valve, and feel for exhaust for the exhaust valve.
I have Tohatsu 6hp engine and I have a problem. When engine warms up to working temperature white smokes comes from water. on any gears and RPMS. And the smell is not good. What could couse this type of problems? Not a lot of smokes but everyone can see it when i am going out of the shore. Do you have any advice where to search the problem?
Check the oil level. If it is too high, it could be that the diaphragm of the fuel pump has a crack, and fuel gets into the oil and/or vice versa. That could cause white exhaust.
Very helpful I'm about to do my Suzuki 4 h.p thanks for sharing

i have a problem with my yamaha 4hp... i have no compression... but the thing is my push rods do not move? how is this possible?
I don't know man, I am not a mechanic. But if both of them don't move, it is unlikely that the problem is the same as the one described in this video.
Very helpful tks
How do I know both valves are closed?
