I banged my head as a young child. My mother always reminded me of it because it shocked her. When I was diagnosed with adhd as a adult. My dad start crying and said that must of been caused by my headbanging as a todler. I told him, it was’nt the result of my headbanging. It must of been the reason for my headbanging . I am a well functioning adult and I want to reassure parents reading this.. That to my opinion the action of banging must of been because my sences where overstimulated to much at times and I was not able to handle it because I couldn’t process what I was feeling and got frustrated. My diagnose of adhd helped me understand my sensitivity. But I always functioned very well in society. Especially with other people and at my job.
But as a young adult I expirienced being burned out more often than one normally would. It is more my own struggle that I need much more time alone to recharge myself in comparison to ‘regular’ folks (as far as one can be named)
Offcourse my story is my personal expirience. Autism if offcourse a possible reason. But I just wanted to elaborate on possible reasons.

I was diagnosed with ADHD, and it did nothing, but just give me the highest dosage of ADHD medication
It didn’t do anything I continue to slam my head as a child nobody stopped me, and now I have behavioural issues, anxiety depression, suicidal thoughts, and unexpected mood swings
But who cares that I did possible permanent brain damage at eight years old
      Everything is my fault
Even though I was diagnosed with ADHD,ADHD is on the spectrum of autism my parents still can’t accept that I am different and I learn differently, and I have different needs and I am not stable but right who cares
If my parents don’t care of my doctors don’t care. Why the fuck should I care?
If nobody wants to help me when I ask them for help, and all they do is dope me up on bipolar medication’s or cast me a side like I am worthless
      How do I fix myself?
      With ADHD diagnosis

Yes it is frustrating as she says on the header it's misleading I don't doubt the integrity of this person as I've watched others but please with something so serious don't say that you know how to stop it. My son has never been helped and now has a fractured skull.

Please do a video about this topic! It will help many parents and teachers. What do we do when the behavior happens?

The biggest thing I hope parents and professionals take away from my content about problem behaviors is that we want to work to prevent these behaviors 95% of the time. I have a mini course (about 1.5 hours of content) that can help you do this! Visit TurnTantrumsAround.com to get started.

Wow, that is so kind of the window company. Best of luck with your son. The fact that you are here trying to learn ways to help him says a lot about the mother you are. Your son is lucky to have you. Blessed be.

When I was a young child, I used to slam my head all the time by the time I was in adult and was finally brave enough to tell people in my doctors that I slam my head a lot to the point where I was dizzy
You would think they would be concerned
No, it doesn’t matter that my brain suffered multiple concussions level traumas as a child
I could explain my behaviour of anxiety, depression, and erratic behaviour
But who cares right who cares about actually, checking to see if 26 year old has brain lesions that I’ve been growing since they were eight
We’re just gonna wait until I am 30 or 40 and they’ve become so large that I can’t walk or talk
    Anymore
Because every child has about three or four concussions a month

Headbanging is not serious take that from my parents, my mom’s and nurse I told her that I slam my head all the time
And felt dizzy afterwards now that I am an adult and not ashamed of it anymore
Because it should be something that you would think people would be taking seriously like you slammed your head a lot as a child. Maybe we should get your brain scan to make sure there’s nothing wrong with your brain no
No, no no no no that is not how it works. That is not how the world works. The world works like this you go in with issues you tell your doctor you slam your head of a child they will drop you off and bipolar medication without a psychologist or psychiatrist, or a psychotherapist.
And tell you that you have to take it every single day on the exact minute and if you miss it by a minute or two, you might as well just stop taking it all together
Or maybe it’s not a brain chemical imbalance maybe I have fucking brain lesions that are caused by multiple concussions
Like what do I have to do to get my doctor to take my concerns seriously I told him I slammed my self against walls concrete floors, math textbooks to the point of being dizzy and blocking out and that doesn’t even concerned them
