Bobby just cranking out videos, one-man front office army, up late playing GM mode for the NBA 😅
The Bucks real problem all season is their role players are scrubs. Connaughton, Beasley, and Crowder are unplayable. Lopez gets hunted on defense by athletic teams. Bobby is inconsistent and not a good defender. If they had better role players, they still could've won this series. You can't advance in the playoffs if you have too many guys that can't play or aren't consistent enough.
Agreed
The Bucks with back to back 1st Round exits is unacceptable. Regardless of who is injured
Exactly! Been saying the same thing. It’s an old roster.
@@miztlivasquez8682 Absolutely. Their window to win another chip with this roster has slammed shut.
@@CCEkeke yep now time to rebuild and get picks. Thanks giannis for getting one championship for the bucks so you can go now and win more with another team.
You noticed the Bucks actually pushed the Pacers when Doc played the young guys?
They’ve got 3 young guys in AJax, AJ, and Marjon that are at least ok, but very athletic (especially AJax).
Shame is that neither Bud or Doc actually play young guys until garbage time or absolute emergency
Exactly! I only looked at the play-by-play for Game 5, but I saw that Andre Jackson Jr. guy actually played pretty well. They should give the young guys some run during the off-season and see who can contribute.
At last someone have noticed this...as they say bucks are old...so its time for the bucks to really develop the young guys
One big mistake we made was letting Grayson Allen and DiVincenzo get away. Two solid young all around players gone. Management sucks on this team!
Di Vincenzo was literally unplayable before he left and Grayson is horrific in the play offs consistently
@@foxball1771 He was not "unplayable" wth he was starting and getting set to help us make a champions run before he got injured; forcing us to start PJ. We probably would've been even more dominant that playoffs if he was playing looking back at it. Our team was athletic and deep that year.
Do you not remember before he was traded?
Agreed!! Trading for serge ibaka was idiotic.
Agreed i don't know what the hell they did that for and another mistake is when they got rid of dru holiday and tucker(for defense).
Adrian Griffiin sitting somewhere right now like 🤣
That’s karma
HE WAS A BAD COACH! Everyone was saying it before he got fired then he gets fired and the switch up on him was insane
@@timothy280 the only problem Adrian had was the bucks couldn't play defense, besides that he wasn't that bad of a coach. I mean you were the second seed and yall decided to fire him, doesn't make any sense.🤨
The world laughs with him 😂
Bro, Griff was arguably the worst coach in Bucks history (record be damned) and a mutiny formed in his locker room.
Middleton stays based on his performance in this series. Obviously give Dame and Giannis a chance to gel this next season. Keep the young'ns (Beauchamp, Ajax, and AJ Green). Everyone else can go. Lopez is too slow, barely rebounds, has a declining offensive production declines and can't adapt to new defensive schemes. Crowder, Beasley and Connaughton are unplayable. Portis is inconsistent and after his ejection, unreliable.
Dame,Middleton, lopez all get traded
Beasly and Portis are staying, bobby was nearly SMOY wdym. Beas was top of the league shooter. But lopez might be too old man. We need a defensive rebuild.
being adaptable is the true measure of greatness
@@landonfrigault8096 Beasley stunk so bad during the second half of the season that Doc Rivers had to bench him. Plus he's a crappy defender. They should get rid of him.
@@Stars33d77you obviously didn’t watch games this season
I honestly feel that 2022 was the bucks peak but they lost in 7 to celtics without Middleton.
But after that we have declined. In 2023 we played bad n lazy and the coach bud lost his mind mid series. 2024 we are simply not good enough, we are old n slow.
2023 Bucks were strong but we had bad luck in the Playoffs with injuries and Bud grieving his brother. Brook was clearly the best defensive player, Bobby was strong as the 6th man, Jrue was an All-Star, Giannis was top 3 for MVP and the Bucks record was best in the NBA. This season sadly we had some major issues and I don't know if Doc is the man to fix them.
Thanks for the encouragement Bobby. Really good vibes for bucks fans here
Whoever says they should have kept Jrue or Griff clearly dont follow the bucks, lost to miami in rd1 with a healthy Jrue Holiday who said he would be retiring within two year's, he is now a 4th option
Griffin had the easiest schedule in the NBA and was the worst bucks defense i have seen in a lot of years, He had no gameplan
Bucks need new rotational players and to clear out some deadwood such as Jae Pat C Beasley etc
Yeah the Jrue one hurt. Told everyone he was gonna retire after the deal ended, then suddenly he resigns for a team friendly deal with Boston
@@vikings_fans_anonymous I wouldn't call $34m/year team friendly -- especially on that team -- since he was making $36 this year but yeah
The bucks will make moves in the offseason for sure. Firing griff was a huge mistake tho. Fire jon horst.
Hiring Griff was a huge mistake. Bro was a rookie and didn't know how to manage a handful of superstars and veterans on the team.
@@khashmoney6985 we where in 1st place and 20 games above 500 didn't you listen to this video. the bucks were playing great for Griff.
@@jhall_edc 1st place doesn't mean anything
100% correct!
Griffin had a healthy team and statistically the easiest schedule in the NBA at the point of his firing. Anyway who follows the Bucks could see they were losing to good teams under Griffin, and barely beating non playoff teams. With Doc, they weren't healthy but most of their loses were just playing down to their competition. They beat teams like Minnesota, Boston, Denver, OKC under Doc. Had Giannis played in the playoffs they destroy the Pacers.
Bobby your fan is blowing on your mic brother
Bobby these are great. I thoroughly enjoy these videos explaining the cap and how teams trap themselves
Giannis is the General Manager of the Bucks. He has made most of the decisions on who comes and goes over the last several seasons.
They need a 3 and D SG. Besides that just stay healthy
First of all, Giannis and Dame need to spend the off-season figuring out how to play together. It never seemed like they could any find cohesion or connection in the offense. Secondly, they need to get some viable perimeter defenders. A lot of people blame Dame alone for the Bucks' perimeter defense being bad, but that's not the only reason. The Bucks' front office has either let go of or traded a number of other good perimeter defenders like DiVincenzo, P.J. Tucker, and Jevon Carter over the last couple of off-seasons. They should consider trading any 2 or all 3 of Middleton, Lopez, and/or Portis. Their bench really needs an upgrade. As much as I can't blame Doc too much in this case, he never should've been hired as the coach anyway.
Dame should take a trip to a Greece this summer.
Yeah that's definitely #1. Giannis needs to embrace screening or that pairing won't work. PnR, inverted PnR, handoffs... The whole Murray-Jokic package
And not just on ball screens but off ball. Giannis has to use his gravity to open up the floor for everyone else.
The perimeter defense is easier said than done given the resources available. But the goal should be getting long rangy wings -- two of whom are on the roster in Beauchamp and AJax -- moving to a switch heavy scheme that protects Dame. Maybe you can't have lockdown guys shopping in the bargain bin but just throw enough size and length at teams to muck them up. Basically what Boston did when they had IT.
I've been saying trade Brook since 30 seconds after the trade. Brook to OKC, Jerami Grant to Milwaukee, picks to Portland (from OKC) is my favorite framework
I'd keep Portis. Relatively mobile three point shooting bigs aren't exactly a dime a dozen.
Middleton depends on what you can get. He's not untouchable but his isolation scoring is still really important even with Dame and Giannis. You need to bring back two super high level role players, like Bridges and DFS, or it's not worth moving him.
Then you hope that two of Jackson, Beauchamp, Green, rookie A, rookie B and your FA pu pu platter are playable come playoff time.
Finally...
Time to give Thanasis the spot and max contract he deserve.
His revenge arc starts here!!!
ha ha
As a die hard Milwaukee Bucks fan, Coach Mike Budenholzer had the Bucks flying high. The new ownership should of kept coach Bud. At least he coached them to a title.
Agreed. Doc MUST DEVELOP OUR YOUNG PLAYERS. If we are to return to the top, please do that. Also, make SMART FA CHOICES.
Milwaukee is not a second apron... Unlikely bonus did not trigger for Middleton so i don't know where you got that????
Also did you forget about Portland's second??? Messy breakdown ngl
@alexrietmann6301 I think he mentioned the Portland pick when he said their 2 draft picks this year. I'm assuming he meant they will likely be a 2nd apron team, considering they are like 6 mill from it and need to fill some roster spots.
Can hear bro's entire HVAC unit
Trading away Holiday was a bad decision
So was firing Griff
Absolutely not... They would've never won game 1 with jrue... This series just proved that Dame was the correct move
Bucks need good roleplayers. Not jrue holiday. Bucks were 1st round exits even with giannis and jrue holiday
@@jhall_edchiring him was a mistake
@@guyoverthere3098 I hear you. Shoulda maybe hired doc to start the season or not firing bud.
Bobby is acting like the Bucks core is bad. The core is excellent, Giannis, Dame, Khris, Brook, Bobby. All they need to do is insert young athletic bodies to the roster. I think they'll bounce back next season.
Adrian griffin sitting somewhere like*
Adrian Griffin: you know what time it idttt!!
4:20 Bobby sounds like a cop explaining your rights 💀
The Bucks need to free up spots on the bench for 1 or 2 more talented players. Trade Crowder and Gallinari to wing-deficient teams by any means possible, preferably for picks. Even if entails having to offer one od AJ Green or Andre Jackson to make it go through. If they are involved in a trade for a point guard, no other player is to be included in those discussions but Pat C. As is, convert Pat C to 6th man PG and bring Marjon into permanent 9-man rotation. They should also draft a lengthy shot blocker/rebounder this summer in that 10th-man spot, preferably one that has a solid shot. Last but not least do everything to persuade Malik Beasley to sign a contract. Just a few changes I can think of rn but most important PLEASE BE HEALTHY COME PLAYOFF TIME!
hard to trade guys like Crowder and Gallinari who are not under contract , lol
San Antone when?
When they say Adrain Griffin stats they forget that he was struggling to win through players individual brilliance or no technical approach
It turns out that giannas isnt a very good GM.🤣🤣🤣🤣
You have a great sense of humor.
He convinced the Lakers to sign Darvin Ham 😂
Better than lebron
Just gonna point out the offense had great flow without Damian Lillard in game 5, obviously that offense cant be consistently good without Giannis. However they seem to flow better without Lillard
Obviously, the role players are allowed more ball-handling responsibilities when the superstars are out. Plus, role players usually play better at home as opposed to their Game 4 performance on the road without Dame.
@@urbaindelva7869 sure, on the flip side the only time the bucks ever made a dent in the lead was when Dame wasn't on the floor, one could argue they are sacrificing playing bucks basketball (which has proven to work) for Dame to jack up threes which didnt
@@nozzir7301 they got it in between 7 last night then they subbed dame out and started losing by 14. I watched the game and dame was keeping them in. Doc messed up their flow many times when subbing people out when offense was working.
plz upgrade your mic Bob
barely able to hear you over the background sound
As a bucks fan we probably got about 2 more years than they're blowing this up and we'll be back to average basketball again
I know a bunch of them won their ring together but the front office gotta let some of those guys go.
Brook is too slow on defense and gets hunted in the drop coverage.
Bobby has good effort but has
very low iq, plays too much hero ball on offense and defensively hes a liability. Cant box out to save his life.
Connaughton... where do i begin.. similar to bobby on the effort end, he just doesnt have very good offensive iq and defensively hes too small.
Only ones they should keep is kmidd n giannis from the championship team. Although im still on the fence with kmidd, he shown that he can step it up when needed, but he isnt getting younger either..
They need a bench that can score.
This bobby led bench thing as much as i love bobby could be touched on a bit, i want marjon to be in the rotation permanently for this reason. To f*cking score mate!
Keeping jrue would also have been better if they were able to get dame, look at how celtics use jrue as a defensive player instead of a 2nd/3rd scoring option.
This season is on Giannis
Didn’t play one game???
When comparing the MVP candidates and winners over the past 6 years the difference is durability and availability. Jokic is by far the best player because he can actually stay on the court. He's played 85 out of possible 88 games so far this year including the post season while putting up crazy numbers. He literally never misses a game. Embiid is virtually always broken down when it matters the most and Giannis has been an injury no show in the playoffs for the last few years.
Jokic can average 24 points and not worry so much about carrying the team cause Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr and other dudes are doing a great job. That's why.
@Because_Truth_Matters It's more because jumping puts a ton of stress on the body. I should say landing does. Andre Miller was once asked how he was able to play so long without injuries, and he said he doesn't jump too often. Jokic just doesn't jump too high.
They are not in the second apron yet Middleton didn't earn the bonuses so they are still under the second apron for the time being. So they'll still have a little wiggle room to try to get a little younger and athletic defensively.
This is what happens when you give your franchise player too much say on the roster and the head coach. Giannis wanted Dame, an older player with a super max contract, which makes it harder to improve the roster. He also wanted Adrian Griffin fired and insists on his non productive brother being on the team
He also wanted Bud fired
Bud never made adjustments. BUD cost Milwaukee 2 championship because of his coach decision and BUD COULD NOT DEVELOP PLAYERS the Bucks gave Giannis 3 choice at coach griffin was the only one the could DEVELOP player evey team would make the dame for holiday and 12 player on a team never Plays
@@solomonjewelz4846 12th man plays when the team has a lot of injuries, like the Bucks had during this playoff run. Regardless, his brother doesn't deserve to be on an NBA roster
Giannis has gone through a lot of coaches. Not everyone would take on Dame's contract or trade Jrue for Dame because defense is important to winning championships
Dame's older, smaller, doesn't play any defense and takes up more cap space, and Jrue helped Giannis win a championship. But Giannis considered Dame an upgrade over Jrue and signed the extension he refused to sign with Jrue on the roster, but signed shortly after they made the Dame trade
@shawncain882 Jrue and Dame ARE rhe SAME AGE Jrue defense is not once was because TOURCHED THIS SEASON Dame showed that he STILL CAN SCORE AT A HIGH VOLUME and if team reach 12 - 15 player on the bench THEIR SEASON ALREADY OVER
@solomonjewelz4846 , When I said Dame is older, I meant he was an older player, which didn't make the talent/team around Giannis any younger.
Bottom line, I stand by everything said because it's factual and on point. The Bucks had a better season last year with Jrue. They had the best record in the league. Dame didn't help the Bucks win more playoffs game this season than Jrue did last season. Both only won one playoff game without Giannis playing.
Meanwhile, Jrue helped the Celtics have the best record in the league this season. So, you have no good points that Dame was an upgrade over Jrue for the Bucks
Considering that they could probably get Cole Anthony, Anthony Black, Caleb Houston n 2 first for Dame n could get Jalen Williams, Jaylin Williams, Ousmane Dieng, n a ton of picks for Giannis i would just say screw it n accelterate the rebuild Black, Anthony, Williams, Dieng, Houston give them a real solid young core to build around
What people dont realize is that Andrian was fired because it was bigger than basketball. The numbers looked good, but we don't know what happens behind closed doors.
Imagine going all in on Dame & still going out in the 1st round, but to Obi Toppin & TJ McConnell
It felt like this whole season Milwaukee was doing a shootout thos whole season. They couldn't defend other teams, so they just tried to outscore them every game. In the playoffs you cant go far with letting a team scorce 120 and you think you can win.
The Bucks team that won a championship was well constructed Jrue Holiday Chris Middleton and Giannis with Grace Allen as great spot up shooter and well coached !
BUT bucks gave up 3 first round pick Jrue and the rapid decline of Middleton from an Allstar to oft injured starter was not anticipated
So what happened? They panicked instead of keeping Jrue and getting an athletic 3&d guy like Trey Murphy they traded their starting back court to get Lillard and gave up another 3 first round picks ! Like Phoenix they went star hunting instead of roster building now they are screwed
Grayson Allen did not win a championship with the bucks
It wasn't first round 3 picks. It was 1 frp and 2 swaps + Grayson + Jrue.
Raptors please. The pacer would be also interesting because of the likely Siakam max. Raptors and Pacers please.
Isn't the 2031 pick frozen? I thought picks 7 years out were frozen with the new second apron rules
The new cba doesn't start till mext season. They arent a 2nd apron team until they stay in thr 2nd apron level at seasons end. They can trade everyone away next seasons trade deadline and not have their pick frozen.
Now John Horst is gonna bolt lol 😂
Also it is very easy to tell who does not watch basketball and instead watches First Take clips on TH-cam when I read the "Griff was 30 and 13 when they fired him!!!". Or the Budenholzer "winningest coach in the NBA for years!!!!".
Jae Crowder doesn't "look like a genius" joining the Bucks. 😂😂😂
Give thanasis the max
They need Marcus Smart
That’s actually a good idea
@@mrawesome7175 him or Dejante Murray would be perfect. Dejante would be great because he is only 27 on a 16 million dollar contract averaging 22 ppg, he could help them get through an 82 game season healthy and then in the playoffs they would be ridiculously dangerous
@@cpbballbeast I doubt they can get murray. He also could be m bad fit. It may end up being like the hawks situation. Lillard has a lot of similarties to trae young, although he is better, the murray trade has not worked out for Atlanta. Lillard and Murray are both ball dominant guards. However Murray would be perfect for the magic, as that team is screaming for a point guard.
Marcus Smart can ball SG well, and can play off ball. He is on a reasonable contract too. Bucks have 2 tradable 1st round picks , assuming Lopez and Portis Jr are going to be the tradeable pieces, I think memphis would accept a pick and either one of those two in exchange for Smart. Lopez or Portis jr would be excellent rotational pieces for Memphis, assuming they draft a big man as well in this year's draft.

Always a great breakdown by Bobby Marks. Bucks are stuck. Dame is getting older. Good luck

New CBA has Milwaukee and Phoenix only being able to make trades the with the G League😅

Idk how Doc Rivers keeps getting jobs. Smh.
Need to trade Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez. Sign Andre Drummond and Spencer Dinwiddle.
Lump us with those other scrubs all you want. The ring makes it all worth it. AJ Green and Ajax seem promising if not also a little unpolished. I'm excited for the future.
Well maybe if they didn't have to get rid of that one coach they had before I will probably want them to win the series but they want to be Petty and not give him a chance .. I'm not trying to hear none of those stupid excuses saying he wasn't a good coach and clearly he was still winning the games at the end of the day
I didn't like it either. But if he wasn't clicking with the locker room, that would've had an effect on things later down the line. Also, given that Doc was apparently giving him advice on how to coach the team, it may have been sabotage.

@mgmboy3778 I think it's fairly obvious at this point to anyone who has regularly watched this Bucks team this season that roster construction and injuries were the problem, not coaching.
Giannis never asked for Dame. Dolty commentors in here.
Basically, getting Dame has totally destroyed their ability to do anything roster wise. Any team desparate enough to pay an aging superstar over $50 million a year will regret it pretty soon.
The Blazers front office gave him that deal. The Bucks front office knew what they were getting into.
Grayson Allen was good in MILWAUKEE!?!😂😂😂😂
Bucks need to let all their role players go except for maybe Beverly, develop their young players and try to find a athletic big who can run and defend Lopez is aging and I wouldn’t resign Portis also they need to sign additional young perimeter defenders I’m glad this season is over for them it dragged on lol
Uh, why does Marks so readily believe they are going to lose Beverly & Crowder. You tell me what team is going to want Pat Bev after last night?! And teams aren’t beating down the door for Crowder either. They’re minimum guys, at can be resigned as such. Pat Bev will probably be begging to come back because he knows the offers are gonna trickle in like a river in the Sahara from NBA teams. Who knows if even the Shanghai Sharks or Puerto Rico will come calling. And unlike the Clippers or the Suns, Milwaukee has a top 5 guy when healthy & Giannis is almost never injured AND he’s not even 30. Best thing for Milwaukee to do is run it back & not panic, invest in their young guys like Beauchamp, & try again. Indy ain’t making the Finals & there’s really nothing to be envious about over there. The Bucks have THE guy-Indy has Pascal Siakam & the oft-injured Halliburton.
Any team that Doc Rivers coaches will get Illuminated from the playoffs,he can't coach a winner. He blames has players, and doesn't take the the bad he is to blame. Milwaukee front office made a very bad mastake getting Rivers.
Who wants Crowder??? 😂
Bobby, get a decent mic.
Bucks should trade everyone and start a rebuild now because they have Giannis and Dame and the others in a good period! And leave Giannis to go in a big market so he can win some championships!
Bucks fans definitely don't like you Bobby marks , but thanks for the video
Doesn't matter. Giannis will not be fully healthy for another postseason. It's over.
100% Ajax, AJ Green and MarJon are able to be rotation players doing 15-20mins. AJ Green could be a 5 3pt shots a night guy. Ajax and MarJon can bring the energy like Giannis and Bobby do. But I think we need a new Big. Lopez was sluggish all season then turned it on in the playoffs but wasn't there enough. We need a younger big man. If we could afford it I'd get KAT as the T-Wolves apparently wanna ditch him. Sadly due to all the trade rules I don't know if the Bucks can.
If I’m Dame I’m asking out again , I’m sorry but he gets there and Giannis is out all playoffs ? And has been injury proned for the past few playoffs now.
