Pacers offense struggled even against short-handed knicks and bucks. Celtics can play both sides so it might even be an easy sweep
It’s not about who Boston matches up better with, it’s about Boston not wanting a physical series before the finals if they win.
The Knicks may not win the series but they will physically beat up on Boston. Indy will hand wave defend them.

The Celtics beat the Knicks 3 times when they had Quickley and RJ, beat us once after the trade, OG was out, obviously Randle and Mitch were out as well. But there's no guarrantee that they ll win all the other 4, because even if Boston hits the 3s, Denver can have a Jokic/Murray explosion game in one of those 4 and beat them by 2 points with a buzzer beater

No Jimmy butler for an entire series, no Mitchell the last 2 games of the series. Didn’t have to bump in Embiid or Greek. Might see a hobbled Knicks team. Celtics aren’t battle tested this playoffs. Denver or Minnesota clears them easily in the finals because of it.

that narrative is old and stale. at home in 2024: 2-1 vs Cavs, 2-1 vs Heat; 4-2 - away: 4-0. both losses were really fluky: Heat broken a franchise record shooting 3s, while Cavs shot 10% above their playoff shooting average / 20 points more ... for one game. then everything went back to normal.
KP came back balling when he missed a couple weeks with that soleus thing this season. They need that to happen again. Maybe they should wait to lose one until they bring him back.
