So rare to find good discussions about Glorantha. My Initial reaction to Ducks was very much ‘what the hell?’ But I agree, they have become an iconic part of Glorantha, and it’s quirky uniqueness. The Guide to Glorantha, by the way, is huge, and well worth the money, despite the price. A beautiful, and insanely detailed set.
Glorantha is up there with Tekumel and Arduin in terms of 'unique, detailed worlds'. It has a heavier focus on mythology and mythological archetypes, very much focused on the idea of Heroism in a classical sense and of the Heroes Journey, especially embodied in the concept of Heroquesting. It definitely does a better job than most other RPG's of immersing you right into the setting as part of character creation, before you even sit down to play.
Chaosium has also started doing some softcover reprints of older editions, which are well worth the buy. I own the Guidebook and the Guide, and love both of them. I completely agree with Anton below, the Guide is well worth the price of admission.
I’ve very much gone down the Glorantha rabbit hole recently. I just got POD reprints of Cults of Prax and Cults of Terror, and I also picked up the Wyrm’s Footnotes PDFs. I’ve been reading those for all their weird bits of lore.

@@nicholasbielik7156 Check out the Stafford Library publications too. They're dense, but a good read.
