- The Princess of Wales is sometimes compared to the late Queen Elizabeth II; she is one of the most photographed women in the world, but remains inscrutable.
While she is shy and introverted at times, those who know her speak of her steeliness and quiet confidence.
In the recent book Courtiers, the journalist Valentine Low reveals that the Princess may have been directly involved in the response to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Oprah Winfrey interview.
She apparently drafted the line that “recollections may vary”, which was then added to the late Queen’s response.
In this episode of Royal Insight, Camilla Tominey explores how the Princess has become a quiet but strong influence within the Royal family.

Yes the RF just sits around stagnant waiting for someone to die with no accomplishments of their own no financial independence just living off the hard working people for their lavish lifestyle. @@Alexa-re8qr Catherine was raised within a close supportive upper middle class family. During her college years she was active in sports and Captain of the Women's Field Hockey team. She had great grades. Her gap year was quite busy with enrolling in Italian studies and Youth Initiatives in Chile. She arrived back in England and got a job as a deckhand for the summer then enrolled in University. She had a part time job waitressing while attending and an active member in an all-female charity club doing fundraisers and community projects every year. After graduating she worked part time at a clothing chain and active in many fundraisers as well as organizing and coordinating for charities. She was a busy girl all those years. Oh and she also worked at her parents business. None of that was created by any Press.

Catherine?! She’s not a “secret” at all! Even the late queen realized who’s the savior of the monarchy after all those scandals around it. Yes, she’s reserved as she should be, yet very powerful! She’s not an attention seeker like Meghan. She’s not trying to overdo q. Camilla (god forbid 😮). She knows her place and her role in monarchy that’s why she’s well respected among people. 😊😊😊

That’s a joke she has caused problems with not being able to handle her composure in a mild situation. She carried on about such petty things as socks and her hormones. Wouldn’t have ever seen the Queen lose her composure in such a petty situation. Her and Meghan’s behavior was very immature. And just what work does the RF do. They live a very lavish lifestyle with the money off hard working people. The charity work they do is probably not even a dent in the expenses they cost the taxpayers.
Nobody of consequence will entertain a friendship with Meghan at the expense of Catherine.
Friendships with Meghan are short-lived it would seem, unless she is paying them for their support, like Omid Scobie, or they get something for themselves, like Oprah.

I agree with your view Camilla, that H&M always gave the impression that all of their requests needed to be fulfilled yesterday. They never took the time to reflect on their thoughts and ideas before making life changing decisions. Agree as well. Catherine has grown into her role. Although public speaking may not be her one of her strongest qualities .She has improved and will continue too. Furthermore that's Williams primary role.
It's the social media age, everyone wants results and get their prize now just cause they feel entitled to it rather than work for it. It's gotten very bad here in the US. Too many people lack patience now.

H&M took on the world?!?!? How did they do this, by trashing their families? What did they actually do, someone tell me as I have no idea. I don't understand why someones personality needed to be right or wrong. When Harry pointed out the differences of behavior between Catherine and Meghan why is it that people seemed to view Catherine's behavior as either right or wrong. She is who she is. Harry and Meghan had no business putting it out there to judge. Before Meghan and Harry started all this she was doing her job and how people viewed her was down to how she held herself in public and the work she did. Nothing wrong with that. Let a possible introvert be. If someone is private then that is who they are.

I’m American and knows one has to curtesy to the Queen no matter what, would not ask anyone’s lip gloss, would hug with only very familiar old friends unlike Madam Rachel Markle.

What’s wrong with being a woman who is assertive. She doesn’t sit around waiting for someone else to start work she goes after it. The RF even whined about her being up to early to start her day. 5 am was to early for them. The RF doesn’t even know what work is. And they definitely don’t have good family values. I disagree with the comparison of Harry and MEghan being "extroverts" and Catherine being the opposite. A more accurate one would be Harry and MEghan being entitled, self-serving narcissists who expect adulation but are not willing to do any work. Catherine is the not so secret weapon of the royal family. An absolute charmer. Beloved by all. ❤
That is where Markle failed. I have worked in education for years, and have found that the most successful superintendents of school districts were those who joined the district, waited a year before making changes. They took their first year to speak to staff from the janitorial to teachers and principals to the parents to the board members to students. Then assessed what is good and should not be changed or just tweaked from the areas that need an overhaul. The least successful were those, like the duchess of Sussex, who charged in and before they knew the system from the inside, and made changes. Those changes costs the district money they didn't have and/or didn't need to spend, brought in the wrong people and programs. It took most districts years to recover from those who "hit the ground running." I've heard the same from people in corporations.
That is why she is CATHERINE THE GREAT❤
