Far too many women, You can take them on a first class Hawaiian vacation to an oceanfront Villa at the four seasons hotel and they will complain that they don’t have gluten-free croutons for the Caesar salad. There is always something wrong. Always something not quite right. Always something that could be just a little bit better. And your role as the man in the relationship becomes putting out her never ending stream of emotional wildfires that keep popping up like the worlds worst carnival, whack-a-mole game. It’s just too Exhausting.

Women didn't start so much drama before modern feminism because drama is a luxury they could not afford back then. Men were responsible for their wives behavior. If a woman started drama, that would tarnish the man's reputation and livelihood. On top of this, there were a plethora of real problems. Women didn't need to invent them.

    • @roses6564
      @roses6564 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

The "drama" you speak of is about women's emotional well-being. An actual "thing."
In the past, they accepted whatever crap was in that marriage because they had to eat period, and there were no other options. Some lucked into fulfilling marriages, many didn't.
When eating comes first, which it does, and there are no other options except whatever you drew in that marriage lottery, and when everyone is hurriedly paired up by early 20's and forbidden from changing the choice if it wasn't right, then everything else becomes a luxury indeed.
It's Maslow 101, which doesn't mean emotional health is not a very serious need. It is not "made up, irrelevant drama," as you insinuate.
      Check psychology.
In fact, a sense of belonging and connection (or lack thereof) has way more impact on quality of life than eating. But you can't afford to worry about it before you eat bc everyone is a meat-sack first.
For the sake of simplicity, there are three levels of relationship:
      1) Abusive
      2) Externally practical but internally lonely/ disconnected / unfulfilling
      3) Fulfilling with multidimensional PIES synchronization (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Spiritual symbiosis, wouldn't change the person for the world and they feel the same about you).
Women are more sensitive to the differences between these three relational levels.
Many men are variants of autistic so they just want "a wife." They fulfill basic duties towards her (aka bring food), then set her aside. Men want to be "alone just not by themselves," bc it's always nice to have some entrances on hand for bio-needs. That's not a relationship. It's meat-sack behavior.

She reached into the fridge and moved the bottle less than an inch to the left. Not kidding. She didn't have to shop or pay for her groceries, but she was unhappy with the exact placement of a bottle of ketchup. I haven't gone to the store for her again. I washed and rinsed her dishes and put them in the dishrack. I didn't pull the plug to drain the soapy water. She never said thank you but did complain about the standing water. I haven't washed her dishes again. I mowed and edged her lawn. She complained that there were grass clippings on the sidewalk. A woman has no essence because she's not a rational human being (= a man) and should not be designated as such. A woman has no consciousness, no assertion, no personality. As it was written in the bible, the woman was formed by a rib taken from a man. Her existence is to live and serve a man and she can't rebel against this innate, natural programming even if she tries. The man in this context is like the sun in the universe around which the stars (her thoughts) circulate. Capisce?

My ex wife and I went to marriage counseling shortly after I’d left her. We thought about giving it another chance for the kids. She found a counselor, went to about 6 sessions, then the counselor wanted to talk to me. On our first session together, he asked me what I had to say about the marriage. I told him that for the last 20 years we were together, my mission was to make her happy. He stopped me and asked why I felt responsible for her happiness. I told him “happy wife, happy life…right”. He said some people are not capable of being happy and it’s not my responsibility to make anyone else happy. He said she was one of those people who doesn’t know how to be happy, right in front of her! This felt like the weight of an elephant being lifted from my shoulders. She’s still single and still miserable 9 years later. 🤣

I have had multiple women tell me I am too perfect, they are too intimidated by me, and they feel like they could never measure up to the level I am operating on. I would say this is not even uncommon. People want someone who is good but not hugely better than them, or it makes them insecure. If you're a highly driven and successful man, especially if you are attractive also, the pool of women who are going to be able to keep up with you and also be a good match is extremely small. A way around this is to spell out clearly to a woman that she doesn't need to be Superwoman to be with you, just pleasant and decent, enjoyable to be around, and not a liability. Most men are pretty happy with just that.

Facts. Got to a point earlier on with my 2nd wife she'd be getting pissed here & there (especially on weekends) & one time let it slip that she was pissed I was on some sort of mission (staying productive) 7-days-a-week, that she "Can't keep up" (not that I was even asking her to). You see, she didn't want to feel guilt she was sleeping in etc while I was up & getting shit done. Just like she'll get testy at dinner if I don't have any or more more typically, if I don't have more food in front of me than she does... she doesn't want the embarrassment. Someone once said, 'it forever pisses chicks off that men can find solice/happiness in the littlest of things'. They're incapable of understanding men are hardwired to be ok with 'labors of love'. We can take pride in fixing something, keeping a tidy yard etc. Rich is right - Keep striving to put a dent in the universe no matter what illogical pushback she may give you.

The topic should have been that’s it hard for women to keep up when you have your act together and the idea of the effort they need to use is frightening to them. Many gals could not handle that I did not want alcohol, could comprehend that I never had an addiction, it freaked them out and in effect were intimidated - they couldn’t see themselves NOT drinking.

Because I believed that somewhere hiding behind all of the above were sugar, and spice, and everything nice.
Then I found out the part I was tryna see past... was the whole building. There was never anything there other than the emotionalism, flightiness, inconsistency, and insincerity. That's the deal.
    ...And it's a crappy one.

I think the perspective men have of trying to please women and being concerned with their happiness is the source of this current problem.
I'm coming to the conclusion that this is an inversion of nature and that the natural state is that a man should set his course in life and the woman he chooses is supposed to be an accessory on that journey.
Our collective bitterness is a testament that we've been worshiping a goddess incapable of fulfilling our expectations.

When I was a teenager, I had an attractive cousin in her 20's who had an affair with a married man. After a few months, he dumped her. She was devastated and it became the family's dark secret. About a year later she married an ordinary guy, pleasant, but definitely not a Chad. My mother told me she would never have children with her new husband because he was just a financial provider to her. Being a kid at the time, I had no idea what she was talking about. But it was true. My cousin is now 80 and she never had children. She just deceived a guy to marry her for financial security. And such is the mind of a woman.
