I removed my cat and everything behind it the replaced the cat with 3" pipe and put a flowmaster super44 cat back on it and it sounds great but it's still getting a cam when it's time to rebuild.
@LonerWolf Patriot no, it's definitely a coyote. They stopped putting 302 windsor motors in trucks and cars in the early 80s and mid nineties. Last mustang with a 302 was in 94
Not sure how crossing over results in equal length when the driver side has to cross to the passenger side of the vehicle. If anything it makes the driver side even longer than the passenger

My ‘96 F150 with Magnaflows sound better than these, the tips come out just after the rear wheels and it only claps at high rpm’s under a pretty big load.
Not trying to start anything but just my opinion straight pipes don’t belong on gas engines unless it’s open headers for high hp. I think diesel engines need straight pipes and gas engines need good flowing exhaust that grumbles with no clap.
I cannot conceive of the mind of a person who wants this in their life. Not one single truck in this sounds good or deserves this. Neither do any of the people who have to endure standing by to hear this permeate their lives.
@Dennis Burger nailed it. I've owned 4 Fox bodies, one SN95, 4 9th gen F150s, one 8th gen and one 9th gen big block F250. All had modified exhaust. None sounded straight pipe terrible. No tone, just noise.

Imo A 460 with headers and full length straight pipe is one of the best sounding v8s ever. 5.4s sound really good as well.
