I am truly sorry if you hear me yelling at the screen, quit pulling cut it out. You are making more work for yourself lol. Always weaken the interior structure so you can push it all into the footprint. I have made that mistake and spent entirely too much time to cleanup. Keep it up brother.
I’m in the process of starting my own little excavation/demo business. This looks like a lot of fun, but a lot of work at the same time.. I currently own a granite countertop business. I have a feeling the excavation and demo is gonna be a lot more fun.
@@MORE_DIRT I love it. I can’t wait to get this going. I have my dump trailer. I have my machine. I’m in the process of creating the LLC getting insurance and everything I need. I’m a little spoiled. It’s gonna be pretty simple for me to start because I know so many people from the granite business I have all of them, word-of-mouth.. thanks for all the videos you and some others like you really pushed me to do this!
way to small of an excavator, ideally what i would have done is rented a 20-25 ton excavator for a day and called an actual dumpster company and have 8 dumpster their at the same time. if they don't have the resources for that you call other companies you can not be waiting for dumpsters. im in austin,tx and an excavator with delivery from united rental would be $2k/day. 8 40yrd/$800. after calling for water, sewer, electtricity disonnect and permit. i would have charged $18.5k done in one day. 15 if work is slow
What licenses do you need to hold to get into these types of jobs ? Are you covered under the GC who hired you ? Or is it something you hold as a business ? Looking to get started in excavation myself here in Indiana but as you know indiana handles everything at a local level. It’s real been a pain finding information in this field of work.
Brother, put your glass down and shut that door. All it takes is one board flipping the wrong way and your done. Plus you have no idea what’s in that dust your creating, our state would require water for air borne contaminate control. You got a lot of years to work. Take care of yourself start to finish.

After this project was going I thought about that 😂
Definitely something I’m doing on the next one
Whats the best way to weaken the interior structure

@@mikeh8047I like to cave in the rough as much as I can first. Then push in the sides.

It almost feels illegal to make money having this much fun 😂

Im in Indiana too! Get ahold of me I’d be happy to help.
Did you say rolloffs cause I’m guessing it’s gonna take between 17 to 20 rolloff and you have plenty of room for Demo
Did you check for Asbestos prior to the demo?
We sure did!
Smaller machine like that if you keep the blade in front of you a whole lot less jerking around easier on the operator
12 and a partial one. We'll call it 12 1/4. 😂
8 40 yards and 6 rock boxes if your pulling foundation
Beautiful house😊
6 with a bigger machine, 10 with the 60
Are you separating block and metal? 8 should do it! Crush it brother.

Appreciate the pointers!
We did not require water since we were in the middle of absolutely no where.
I would fix and flip that if I owned it. Fix, rent out, something other than demo....
He’s building a new house, the foundation was destroyed. It wasn’t worth fixing to him.
It was built in the 1890’s
