Well, I really loved 2 out of 3😅 I don't decorate specifically for Halloween, so, I wouldn't use the little jack o lantern blocks. But, the candlesticks and the black pumpkin are beautiful. I'm also, not usually a fan of gold. That black and gold pumpkin was definitely the exception. That was beautiful. I loved it.😊❤😊❤
Lol - I have never really been one to decorate inside my house for Halloween, either. I have noticed more and more people doing it though, so I figured I would give it a try, haha!! I am glad you liked the pumpkin!! :) Thank you so much!!
Beautiful pumpkin! I gave some candle holders like that to a neighbor's kiddos because they wanted some things for their garage sale. Any money they made was theirs for spending money. I gave them all sorts of decor items and they said they sold all the stuff I gave them really fast. They told me how much they made and I told them next time I was taking half! They were so excited.
Oh, Rachel, for someone who doesn't do Halloween, you did an amazing job. Would never have thought to use black on a pumpkin but wow did that ever turn out gorgeous! Loved all the Halloween pieces. I can see the candlesticks with little cloches over them and a spooky scene inside, the little pumpkins turned out fantastic and would look great going up my stairs. Thank goodness I inherited a ton of carbon paper, I need to get busy on pumpkins. Have a great week my friend and will see you again on Saturday. Can't wait to see the little scene. How is the house coming?
It was fun delving in to some Halloween for sure! I was a little nervous about black on the pumpkin, but I do love how it came together, and thankfully most everyone seemed to really like it, too - whew!! lol Cloches on the pillar holders would be awesome - I am always on the lookout, but they are hard to find! Anyway - thank you!! :)
For the jack-o’-lantern blocks, instead of mod podge (which doesn’t work for me either), I uses DecoArt decoupage matte glue… it works so much better for me with reverse transfer method. But I think your method turned out gorgeous too so I might try your way!!! 😊❤
I just might order some and give it a try - I so wanted this method to work!! I am happy with how they came out, but it is a little on the time consuming side to have to trace everything out and then paint it in, lol. Anyway - thank you so much!! :)
@@theeclecticcottagespokane I forgot to mention that the decoart matte sets in about 2-4 hours... I typically do not need to leave it for 24 hours. Not sure if weather conditions matter or anything like that... but I busted out a TON of ornaments last christmas using that method!
