This was a lifesaver. The latch wouldn’t pry open. However, just simply pulling on the door handle released it. Got the idea as you were doing it. Whew!!!!!!

Same here hahahah and the fun fact is I WD40 all of the door opening mechanisms the other day but didn't think about this. Thought there is a some cable that need tightening or something

Great video! I had this issue today (before watching this) and I discovered if you pull up on the exterior door handle and flick the lock/unlock from inside it fixes it also
But the lube idea I never thought of and will apply some

I had an issue with my 67 AMC Marlin and even after having the door pins changed, the door would "bounce when you closed it. You had to keep pressure on the door while closing but your video solved that problem, was ready to replace the striker mechanism. Thx for the video :))
