Not much says summer like drinking from a gaden hose..i love it! 😊👍 The way those are made today they all are disposable even with the washer ones...lol.. I just picked up a outside faucet at a estate this past weekend.. hope to do a tool haul video soon..I'll show it off there maybe.. good stuff Mr. Tom!
Seems strange they would put some kind of safety screw in something that is meant to be serviced............I was hoping to see the old valve buffed to a mirror shine.
Surprised you have a pressure relief on your hose spigot. My area is all wall mounted spigot for exterior use. But is yours attached to a lawn sprinkler system?
Good swap! I agree cheap .59 cent Teflon tape can only do so much. You were smart to use the pipe sealant
Great video!
Great info Tom. Thanks for the video 😃👌🏼
Hey Tom, this was a real nice change up. It’s a project I need to do at my house as well. Thanks!
Thanks Wayne

Looking forward to seeing your finds!
Don't trash the old valve! I have them in my basement and the brass was much stronger then the newer alloys. Great stuff!!!!!!
I will mess with that screw some more, hopefully can salvage it!
Insane the old one and clean it up just fir fun plus they don't make things like they use to
Thanks for the tips Tom. Nice video. I mailed you a tool a couple of weeks ago and I want to be sure you got it.
John, I did not receive anything. Shoot me an email at tomgunntools@gmail.com to confirm the address you sent it to.

I really wanted to show replacing the washer, was the intent of the video. I’ll mess with it some more.
