This song is beautifully orchestrated. The song dynamics are subtle, yet impactful. Robert is a big fan of Tolkien, histories, myths, legends, and lore; a bit of which is here and will be in songs to come. I'd say do Moby Dick on its own, it wouldn't flow well with the last song but hey, your channel, your rules. 🙂 The majority of this album was recorded while on tour. They would go into whatever studio they could find in whatever city they were in and try to lay down tracks. Can you imagine? Travelling and performing everywhere and in the odd hour, recording songs for a new album. Jimmy said at one point that he was so tired of simultaneous touring/recording that he lost confidence whether the album was any good or not. I think it's understandable; you can be so focused on something that you lose track of what you're even doing anymore. The third album will be fairly different as they flex their talents in different musical directions.

I saw ZEP in L.A. in 77 where I grew up. For "Me" it was a life changing thing, I should say the first time I heard Led Zeppelin 1 in 1972, a couple of years after it was released. I was 12 that summer and the awe and so much else for them has never left me to this day.! No spoilers but you've got ALOT of smiles & emotions headed your way.! Will all be watching. *David* .....

The bass line, the drop into "Ramblin On", JHB, all the sizzling guitar by Jimmy, overwhelming stuff, especially when you're 13. A Masterpiece Album.

This is my favourite Zeppelin track. Everything is on point. The soulful singing, fantastic bass line, drumming. It's just brilliant. A beautiful arangement. I love when you hear the guitar that sounds like a train whistle and that lead break. Jimmy page's rhythm guitar playing is just restrained doing enough for the song, allowing for JPJ"s funky bass especially toward the end.

You can't really cover '70's rock and leave them out. Another rock genre that was wildly popular was southern rock. The Allman Brothers Band, Lynnard Skynnard, Charlie Daniels, The Marshall Tucker Band to name a few. I'm excited to go on this journey with you. Reliving the seventies brings back so many good memories.

I was smart enough to buy 3 of each album they put out as well as Sabbath albums and others 2 of each went into a climate controlled storage vault, still in the plastic wrapper along with the recipes. One set is for my daughter, the other will go to my son. They are worth quite a bit now.

JETHRO TULL is an extremely unique band. Most start with "locomotive breath" its an easy introduction to the band.
