Grunt Tailgate assist install PX3 Ranger

Are you sick and tired of your tailgate dropping when you open it. I was, especially when the kids opened it. So when I bought my new Ute, the first mod I made was to install a Grunt 4x4 tailgate assist strut. This allows your tailgate to open gradually and not drop with a sudden thump. It will protect it from falling on to your trailer hitch suddenly and potentially denting your tailgate. It takes less than 5 minutes to install with some very simple basic tools. A great designed product from an Aussie company. The PX3 ranger kit only requires one strut due to the torsion bar already installed that assists the tailgate being closed easily. Other makes may require a double strut package.
