Heard nothing good about DealExtreme........i use uklockpickers and done me proud. Emailed to say order received then another email sent to say it had been dispatched. And no problems with my picks when they got here.....even made a wood box to protect them in the post. 10/10 for the service.
i have one of those in the 6 pin version and it works quite well, but i did exactly what you did and removed the button and springs. it does work much better without them. oh, yeah, i almost forgot ... GO UKLP ! =)
Oh Yes, I know all about the spring!! First thing I did when I got this pick was press the button, and you can guess what happend!!! LOL. managed to find all the bits and put it back together, I do not use the spring loaded handle anymore, works better without it anyway. Thanks again mate for adding your comments, always welcome!! :0)
The biggest mistake is to over tighten the collar on the reset. The collar's main purpose is to hold the pins in place for a key copy. Remember now, use a detecate touch,do not force it. If you still can't get it, then simply remove the collar all together and replace it with rubber band untill you get the hang of it. You'll GET IT!
hey m8, I'm a little confused about those locks, I've concluded that the most common are the 7-pin ones, but this diameter thing is new to me, I'm in europe btw, does it really matter if it's 7, 7.5, 7.8? are they reverse compatible or something? And if not, which diameter fits most vending machines (just academic interest) ? thanks!!
Your Welcome. I didn't mean to infringe on the excellent job you did on this post. A lot of people I deal with have had this same problem with this pick. One other thing to watch out for is to make sure and tighten up the allen set screws on this unit before using. The button on the handle is spring loaded and if the screw becomes loose the spring will pop out. You would'nt believe what a bitch that is to put back in. If you can find it. Good Day Mate.
Yes you could order from deal xtream for £20 but you run the risk of it never arriving or if it does it will probably be faulty!!! I know many people who have order this pick from here and they have had nothing but problems!!!
I'm not making you order from uklockpickers!! you order your tools from who ever you want!!! With uklockpickers you get a quality service, tools posted out 1st class next day, all tools are inspected before sending to ensure there are no problems, tools will be replaced if there are any problems, but this has never happened!!!!
I found a website selling three types(to my surprise) tubular lock pick. 7-pin, 8-pin, and a 10-pin. My question is, how would I know how many pins a certain tubular lock has? And should I bother with buying all three, or is there a 'most common' pick?
can someone help me? Ive got exactly the same KLOM tubular pick but i can not unlock my disc brake lock from my bike....the 7 pins dont seem to move at all and the alarm on my disc brake lock is killing me.....i need advice badly on how to unlock my disc brake lock....much appreciated guys!
No mate, JUST YOU!!! if people want to buy from uklockpickers they will!! and if people want to buy from dealextream they will!! no one is forcing anybody to buy from someone they dont want to!! people see the cost of tools at uklockpickers before they hit the BUY IT button, do you think they would buy it if they thought it was too expensive!!!!

I may be advertising mate, but thats all it is!! like I said i'm not making you buy from uklockpickers if you dont like the prices at uklockpickers then dont buy from them!! simple as that! what the fuck are you worried about!!?? just buy your tools from who ever you want, no one is forcing you!!
