A pack train of Eagles is required to get the ore out." I kid you not. Rough rough country. But beautiful, way off the beaten path. Check it out.
Ferguson is a center for Heli & Back county skiing in winter. there are several big ski lodges. The snowfall can be incredible. Gerrard at the south end of Trout lake had a world famous Gerrard Trout Hatchery. They exported eggs allover the world including New Zealand, where these huge trout provide world class Fly Fishing.
