Love all these markets, especially Victoria Park and Broadway market! I used to live in the area when I was in uni and it's lovely in a local location and everyone has their dogs out haha
Bimble actually sounds super useful, especially now as I’m trying to keep myself sane and think about all the potential places I can go when this all blows over. Loved this video as always
Yeah definitely, I think we're all coming across recommendations the next couple of months so it's an easy way to store them all for when you're ready to travel again. Thanks for watching Lauren
So happy to see new videos I'm planning a revisit to the UK after all of this crazy ... thanks for showing new place's to go and my favorite city in the world
Another great episode Jess thanks! The ropewalk thing to clarify The longer the ropewalk the longer the length of rope that can be made> I think that this still holds true today. I know it's way out of London but there is a working roperary in Chatham historic dockyard . The rope walk is covered and very long they used to use bikes to get from one end to the other. It's over 200 years and the rigging for the Victory was made there (as was the Victory)
So useful ! Before finding out about your channel, I had been to London once, but as I didn´t know any of the places that you show us in your videos, I kinda did not make the most of it. My next trip will be much more exciting thanks to you.
Love your videos. Started watching you when I was notified of my new job at Northampton. Moving from Florida to here (the UK) was a huge change. You have excellent communication skills paired with a beautiful face lol. Hails!!!
Hi, Jess, another very useful and interesting video. Bimble sounds very useful as well. This video reminds us of the days when people went out before lockdown started. I must add how much I enjoyed Saturday's quiz. I hope you do another. I was going to donate £10 during that but unfortunately I had an arguement with my password and the password won so I couldn't process the transaction so I will buy the colouring book instead. Anyone who didnt get the email ask Jess about the colouring book. Looking forward to your next video soon.
Great video Jess. I'm hopefully going back to London this fall and I want to definitely check out some of these markets. Your videos are a big reason why I'm getting addicted to London....lol
Very interesting video Jess, thanks! ⭐️❤️🇬🇧 La Ferme: in French an E at the very end of a word is never pronounced, unless there is an accent on it, É or È. (Indeed a lot of terminal letters aren’t pronounced... 🙄) Ferme (“farm”): [ferm]. Fermé (“closed”): [fermay].
Jess - Thanks for making these wonderful vlogs about my hometown city of London! I am from Islington, but based in New Jersey! It's about time to head home soon!Keep up the good work!😎🇬🇧
Thanks for the 'Bimble' heads up. I always save my places of interest in my Notes on my phone but then they end up getting lost amongst all the other stuff. Bimble will be perfect as I always find interesting places around London that I always want to go back and visit later.
depends on what you're looking for specifically, and part of the beauty of London markets is the huge mix of cuisines you'll find. Most markets stalls these days take card, I don't ever really have cash on me and never have a problem!
Looking forward to a trip to London in April and hope to cover the markets we missed last time. Unfortunately I am having trouble with the app you mentioned. I cannot find it on my iPhone and it keeps thinking I'm asking for 'Bumble"!!
I found the Vinegar Yard last year, it was amazing ! I happened upon it accidentally haha didn’t disappoint!!l had some great food and there was live music playing at the time 💕
Loveeed this video, I'll definitely check out Broadway Market next time I'm in lovely London. Cannot download Bimble since my phone runs Android, any idea if they're planning to launch the app for other operating systems as well? Thanks, keep up the great work! 💪

Love all these markets, especially Victoria Park and Broadway market! I used to live in the area when I was in uni and it's lovely in a local location and everyone has their dogs out haha

Really valuable suggestions. Almost none of the other tour guides answer this question about diverse and unusual shops and attractions.

Hello, which are the markets where I can find typical English food? Is the payment in cash or can it also be with a debit/credit card?
depends on what you're looking for specifically, and part of the beauty of London markets is the huge mix of cuisines you'll find. Most markets stalls these days take card, I don't ever really have cash on me and never have a problem!
Hey Jess, you're awesome!

Card is widely accepted!

It's called Leather Lane Market :) It's on Leather lane.

No Notting Hill recommendation?
Missing London😍Came back home in India for vacation and couldn't travel back due to lockdown 😬
We're all missing it, even the ones still in London :)
Lived in the UK 62 years and wasn;'t aware of some of these - the food looks great - as plant based eater always on the lookout for good Vegan cheeses
Thanks for watching!
Lovely! 🌈❤️😃
Thanks for watching Monica :)
Can you please do an overview of Crystal Palace in south London, very overlooked area with a great park, (the one with all the dinosaurs and stuff)
Sadly, I don't think we'll be able to film videos like that for a while. This video we were able to do because we had all of the footage already.
Love and London Ah ok, I mean like after the lockdown? Out of interest have you been there before
Thank you for your great video.
I will appreciate if you tell me which market is more crowded?! I want to rent a stall.
Thank you
Get in touch with each one to find out footfall :)
Hey Jess: Where would you go to buy art; specifically scenes of London, nothing too expensive, small pieces of art? Thanks!
Markets are good for that, like many of the ones mentioned in this video.
@@loveandlondon Thanks Jess!
