      I have stayed away from it also and a makeup artist has never done that on me. I do like using a HYALURONIC Acid hydro powder because it does seem to blur wrinkles and pores and retain moisture.

      She isn't. Do you and her have the same exact face shape? Contouring placement is based on your personal face shape. Don't follow her contour for your face shape. It's not something she can teach you, unless she does it on you personally.

    For anyone who’s new or interested in learning a beautiful contour/bronzer technique, this is for you. ❤️❤️❤️
    It’s true, you can get a contoured (& bronzed) effect using just a bronzer. However I’m a huge fan of using contour & bronzer together bcz the effect is so amazing. I’ve been doing this for a VERY long time & feel it’s worth trying. I actually use a cream contour 1st & then go in w/a powder bronzer after. This works on anyone at any age w/any skin type/color. Hear me out on this.
    To do this, it’s important to choose the RIGHT cool-toned contour shade for YOUR skin. For example, a very cool contour isn’t going to work on everyone bcz it may look like you’ve swiped dirt on your face if it’s TOO cool of an undertone. But it might be perfect for someone w/lighter skin & cool undertone. So finding the right contour shade (one that will create the appearance of a natural shadow) is key. Finding this can require some practice or patience - remember how tricky it was learning how to find a foundation match? We all found out the hard way that if your foundation is too pink (cool) or too yellow (warm) that it didn’t look good, & finding that correct undertone matters a lot. It’s the same w/finding that right contour shade too bcz if it’s too yellow it can look like a bronzer or even worse, it can look super orange & natural shadows aren’t orange lol. But if it’s too cool it can look gray or ashy on the skin & that can just look like you swiped dirt across your cheek & shadows do not look like dirt lol. Remember, contour isn’t to warm up the skin, we do that with bronzer, it’s strictly to enhance natural shadows & give dimension. So after applying cream contour, I lightly set it w/powder, that way when I go in w/bronzer, it won’t grab & create patchiness. Also, contouring is generally applied subtlety but giving noticeable effects, just like bronzing. When you put them together, the end result is beautiful.
    But after setting the cream contour, just apply bronzer as u normally would to warm up the complexion. You may find you don’t need to apply as much bronzer. You’ll see & figure it out. But I swear, this is a technique that’s SO WORTH TRYING bcz the outcome is ALWAYS so flattering & makes such a huge but yet still so very natural. ❤️❤️💜💜

  • @MariaMadeleine2809
    @MariaMadeleine2809 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    If you want some constructive criticism, here it is (and I write this with love).
    1: No contour in your eye/nose corner! Especially, when your eyebrows are already so close set.
    2: Cheekbone contour should follow the cheekbone. So not ON, but underneath (even though you want to lift).
    3: On the new side, the last dot on your cheek that covers from mouth and down; scratch that. It makes the cheek saggy and old and the mouth angry.
    And I still think you are beautiful, no matter the makeup. Love and light from Denmark, Scandinavia ❤
