The underpainting technique was started by the late Kevin Aucoin. Then Scott Barnes used this same skill on JLo and other celebs. Mary Phillips learned it from them but make it popular again. I have been using this technique for many years. It makes everything look blended and flawless. Great video and looking as beautiful as always, Christen. 💕
@@JulieNick28 But it wasn't blend. You coud see the lines on her neck and scalp. Scott told literally it is not wearable for outdoors, just for photos. And I loved his sense for reality. Most of the women will be lighter or darker then that bronze tanning color so it will be unnatural, and only for the photos.
Dominique, I'm in my 60s and do facial yoga and massages everyday. It certainly makes a huge difference. My skin looks healthy and younger. Start facial yoga and massages while you're young, and the double chin will tighten. Also do lymphatic drainage routines when you wake up in the morning using the Face Gym tool, or Gua Sha tool.

Looks amazing. You know it's crazy. I am 54 now. Back in the days about your age I just used mascara and airbrush foundation. That was enough. My skin was so amazing. People complimented me all the time I had two kids at 30. Never used eyeshadow until very late 30s. I was literally so blessed. And then the hormones hit me. That's wen I needed to get complete coverage by COVERDERM was the best one that time. I had a road map. I had never done a facial massage in my life until the other day I did my first chemical peel. I am on menopause my skin texture has now changed. I am so upset about it. Before then . Never didn't to do this contouring make up at all. My skin is drier under my eyes. My top eyes dropped. First time at 52yrs old. When I had my last period. I was besides myself. Now for the first time I make time for my face. Where before Never. So it's kinda new to me. Trying to get it right. Coz my eyesight isn't that great either now. Menopause socks...really. Now it's vitamins trying everything in the market. But I like the way u did your contouring. I like it soft and natural like I was. Getting old isn't great. Whoever tells u get old gracefully is lying to u. You loose your looks without even trying to. Literally from one day to the next. I actually know a little bit about that neck workout you mentioned. It's been known to worsen or potentially cause TMJ symptoms. It's also something you'd have to do indefinitely or your improvements will go back to how they were originally.

Exactly right with brows first. I logically realized that long ago. Without product underneath the brow color adheres so well and lasts throughout the day, that I didn’t even need gel to make them last.

I have an exercise for the double chin that I've used for years and it works!! Or at least I tell myself it does 😆 If you can suck in your chin and cheeks by starting to swallow your muscles will tighten and stay tight!! Hold it for as long as you can and as frequently as you think about it. Hope that helps!!! 😊
I use Duolingo as well. I’m learning Japanese (hard) Gaelic (Scottish version) and French. I’m not only using Duolingo though. I had 6 yrs of Spanish in school plus my bro lives in AZ (has since I was 5) so he started teaching me when I was little. That lip oil looks like one I just discovered on Amazon from Revlon. It was even in a tube like that. It's a gloss/ oil in different colors. The tube is so pretty.

Of courses I have to have smooth skin to pull it off.i hate the cake of makeup now that I'm older.i must say I love how she contours and I learned some new things.im wondering if I could get away with one more layer without looking cakey so I can try this.im 43 so looking youthful is my number one goal.thankyou for the tutorial

I have been underpainting for years. I use a powder foundation on top as I have extreemely oily skin and a colour corrector below the concealer.

U could use clear mascara and it will help you to grow your eyelashes! It works!
