They're going to replace the 30 caliber cannon with a 20 caliber (cheaper to operate while still effective against technicals) and the rear gunner will be swinging a pair of 50 caliber guns similar to WW2 era tailgunners. It will also be larger and capable of carrying every variety of hellfire missile ever created.

I hope nothing ever replaces the A-10 unless of course it is a better version of the A-10 .
