Muhammad Abduh was a Freemason. They don’t believe that Isa (AS) is a prophet, they believe that this is an office that can be held by anyone. It makes sense why he said what he said, but freemasonry is diametrically opposed to Islam and so we should question his beliefs in this regard

It would be great if you could do a talk on Sahih Bukhari. Some try to argue that there is some weakness in it.
I have heard of Ismail ibn Uwais (allegedly Imam Muslim doesn't take from him) and another narrator that are supposedly weak. There is also the people that argue that the Hadith in Bukhari about music are used as a title or as an addition so he is not saying it is sahih to his standards, allegedly. There is also the question of why it is more authentic than Imam Malik's Muwatta.

And that his appearance proves to the Jews that they did not kill him and that is a punishment for them. Do you know where this has come from? If you can answer that would be great.

Sir, everyone living in any country is following the Laws/Fiqh of his/her country including the Athiest, Momins of all One God Religions, Hindus, Idol Worshippers, Pagans, etc inspite the differences of their political/religious/philosophical beliefs.
We don't need Jesus coming back except a spirit of compassion and mercy in people to start and movement and reform the society for betterment of its people especially when thr Divine System/Goverment starts to oppress its citizens and not care for refugees, needy, sick, jobless, homeless and poor people. We need every human being to be take care of no matter what colour, religion, race person they are from. We judge the government made for its people and not the people.

He can't think systematically nor does he consider the deeper implications of some of his arguments. More importantly none of what he says is especially knew, he's not a sunni Muslim (having left that a long time ago ).
His views are no different from other Muslim sects that ahlus Sunnah has dealt with before, mainly the mu'tazillites. But with layth what's worse is he doesn't even have any consistency in his own thought. Why take special time to deal with a guy who's pedalling arguments poorly which have already been made before and dealt with. Ultimately layth is backed by secular/white washed Muslims who want to call themselves muslim but essentially have a neutered version of Islam just like Christiania, which today which is almost irrelevant and bends to what ever the society shaping it decides.

    Dear. Mr. Qadhi:
No any name of Jesus appears in 43:61. In this verse, pronoun Inna-Hu points toward Quran; not toward already died Jesus 3:144, 3:55, 5:117. In several verses of Quran, same pronoun is used for Quran. For example, in same Surah 43, just read verse 44, in which pronoun Inna-Hu is pointed toward Quran. To attach verse 43:61 with Jesus is 100% Tampering/Tahreef
    وَإِنَّهُۥ لَذِكْرٌ لَّكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ وَسَوْفَ تُسْـَٔلُونَ
Quran 43:44 *The (Qur'an) is indeed the message, for thee and for thy people; and soon shall ye (all) be brought to account.*
*We know and you also know that Mirza G A Qadiani was a False Nabi. But this never means that we should tamper translation of Quran in order to reconcile stories of fabricated hadiths with Quran*

    Dear. Mr. Qadhi:
In verse 4:158, word RAFA is used. This word Rafa is used in several other verses of Quran for the meaning of Spiritual Exaltation and to raise in honor and ranks. *Quran is the most beautiful Book as it fully explains itself, so one needs NOT to run after those tons of CONCOCTED hadiths which were IN PERSON neither certified by Rasool nor by any Sahaabi "as Sahih".* For Contrast, beautiful Quran has used both words "Rafa" and "Yas'ad" in same one verse 35:10. Here meaning of Rafa is exalt and meaning of word yas'ad is to RAISE SOMETHING PHYSICALLY UP. Noun of Yas'ad is Mas'ad, and you know well that if you visit any Arab Country; you will see word "Mas'ad" written on top of Elevators of multistory buildings.
Even in your own so-called Hadiths Literature, word RAFA is used frequently, for to raise in ranks. For example: we read in Book of Sunni sect which is labeled as Sahih-Muslim, that Rasool said:
_A person who humbles to people for the sake of God, God RAISES (RAFA) him_
Clearly, in above-mentioned tradition, it never means that God lifts body of Dust of that person to Himself.
This is also to bring in your kind info that in old copies of Gospels, that story of Ascension and return never exist. Church blended this fable in Gospels much later.
We read in 20:55 and also Genesis 3:19 that human body is made of Dust, and he will return to Dust. That Body of Dust CAN NEVER enter in the Spiritual Realm of God. If we say that in 4:158, God has raised Jesus to Himself with Jesus's body of Dust, that is *the greatest nonsense of all times.* Body of Dust cannot enter in Spiritual Realm of God but after death, only Soul is raised to God. I am sure, you have read Quranic verse 7:143 in which Moses requested God to see Him, and then what happened, you know it. Human eye which is part of this body of dust cannot see God, never never never.
Some people do Tehreef of 4:158 by misusing word إِلَيْهِ But that never means body of dust was lifted toward God. Connotation of word إِلَيْهِ is also used in 42:13. God draws to Himself for Guidance whom he want. That never means: that God pull body of dust of man to Himself.

The day I learnt that the Jesus, yes the Jesus as we know of, will come back towards the end of time and he is still alive in the heaven, I felt an ecstacy and gush of faith like I never had before. I was at my undergrad years then. I still feel the same.
Its amazing how people trying to smartify Islam by twisting its core in light of what they understand as modern science and philosophy makes a great fool out of themselves.
Modern science and philosophy is dynamic like crazy, and entrapping Islam into them is super shortsighted, but taking nibbles of them to explain Islamic concepts with a disclaimer indeed soothes the heart.

*How did Fable of Ascension and Return of Nabi Isa (Jesus) creep into Islam?*
As I have said: this story did not exist in even old copies of Gospels: This fable was invented by Church much later in order to show new converts that Pauline Dogma is a supernatural dogma. Then, when in 7th Century, Christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians embraced Islam. They spread fables of their previous religions among Muslims. Irani Zoroastrians spread fable of Mahdi, Yahood spread fable of Rajam (Talmudic punishment) and Christians spread fable of Anti-Christ=Dajjal and Ascension and Return of Jesus among Muslims.
Then, these fables were blended in CONCOCTED Hadith Books of Sunni and Shia sects (Quran forbids sects 3:103, 3:105, 6:159). *Now, in order to reconcile stories of their forged hadiths with Quran, Sunni and Shia translators and Pseudo Scholars started to tamper translation of several verses which are related to Nabi Isa*

    Dear. Mr. Qadhi:
Quranic verse 4:157 INDEED never denies nailing of Jesus on the Cross but word "Shubbiha" confirms that he was INDEED on the Cross but Quran powerfully rejects Crucifixion of Jesus which means that he did not die on the Cross. According to all definitions of Crucifixion, death on Cross is a BINDING CONDITION of the Punishment which is called Crucifixion. If Person dies on Cross, he is Crucified but if person survives then true statements will be: though his enemies attempted his Crucifixion but they failed to crucify him.
Besides, all historical sources tell that he was on Cross, and all historical resources cannot be wrong. But same historical sources also show that he survived death on the Cross. In Fact Gospel of John and Luke clearly show that he was alive in same injured body even after the incidence of Cross, and he arranged 12 secret meetings with his Disciples even after that incidence of Cross, and finally he permanently immigrated to East of Parthian Empire and died their at very old age >> Kahlan 5:110. According to ancient Arabic literature of 8th Century, age of Kahlan is that very old age when human skin starts to putrefy and that age starts usually after age 90. History and even your own over 30 hadith Books tell that Jesus died at age 120.
_Several top Bible Scholars have written that through a plan, Essene (Hawaari Quran 3:52) drugged Jesus on the Cross in order to save him from dying on Cross. On Cross, when Jesus said: Me Thirst; a Roman Soldier dipped sponge in POSCA and extended to the lips of Jesus. As soon as he sipped, his neck was turned aside and now apparently, he _*_appeared=Resembled=Shubbiha_*_ a dead body but he was not dead. Thinking that Jesus has been died, Romans returned body to Essene. They treated him, and on 3rd day he was resuscitated (never resurrected). _*_In order to learn; then, later where did Jesus go; you are suggested to read our IN DEPTH Research on this subject._*
Essene were mere Instruments of God. It was Plan/Scheme of God to save Jesus, and no one is better Planner than God >> Read Quran 3:54

And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness. Sura 5:116-117
Jesus is not coming back, this verse is the clear evidence for it. If he came back and broke the cruisses and kill the piggs he would not act on the Day of judgement like he didnt know about anything because then he would be lying to Allah what is impossible. Jesus confirm in the verse that he didnt know what the Christians where doing or believing after Jesus death. Yes Allah did let hem die and ibn hazm and ibn abbas confirm this
    قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ { مُتَوَفِّيكَ } مُمِيتُكَ
Ibn Abbas said: “Mutawaffeeka [means] ‘I’ll cause you to die’ (Mumeetuka)” (Sahih Bukhari 14/149, Kitabul Tafsir)
ولم يرد عيسى عليه السلام بقوله (فلما توفيتنى) وفاة النوم فصح أنه انما عنى وفاة الموت
Translation: “And Jesus (peace be upon him) did not mean by his saying Falammaa Tawaffaytanee (5:117) that he was made to sleep. What is correct is that he was made to Die.”
    Reference: Al-Muhalla; v.1 p.23 (Mas'alah no.41)
The interpetation of the Quran is done in Light of the hadith and all the hadith about Jesus are coming from Ibn Shihab Al Zuhri, If the hadiths are not true than all the scholars after who are taking the hadith as true and do interpetation of the Quran with it a new false claim in the islamic History and faith is created. Malik wrote his Muwatta after the middle of the second century, about 150 years after the Prophet. During this time the belief in the return of Jesus -- an interesting, fascinating and important belief -- would have spread far enough for a man of Malik’s knowledge to come to know about it. And if Malik knew about it but did not believe in it, then his judgment in the matter carries some weight since he lived a considerable time before Bukhari and Muslim.
In Bukhari all the ahadith about the return of Jesus have chains that pass through Ibn Shihab and then after one more link through Abu Hurayrah. If the isnad method was very dependable this would have been acceptable but given the fact that the isnad method has not produced too dependable results we cannot put too much confidence in the reliability of these ahadith. There is a distinct possibility that (Ib Shihab) al-Zuhri heard these “ahadith” from not-too-reliable sources and then transmitted them without mentioning the source, as he was at times wont to do. This will explain why these “ahadith” are not found in Muwatta: Imam Malik might have heard these traditions from al-Zuhri, but he did not put much trust in them since no reliable source was given by (Ibn Shibab) al-Zuhri. Later, by the time of Bukhari and Muslim these traditions had been attributed to the Prophet through Abu Hurayrah and then they became acceptable."

    Dear. Mr. Qadhi:
In verse 3:55 and 5:117, word Wafat appears for the death of Jesus. In your own native country India or Pakistan and also in Arabic Schools, even a 5th grader knows that "Wafat" means: Death. For example:
In over 25 verses, word "Wafat" is used for death. In 10:46, word "Wafat" is used for the death of Prophet Mohammad, and same word Wafat is used for the death of Jesus in 3:55, 5:117. All verbs used in 5:116-117 in are past tense. That show: that conversation of Jesus with God has already taken place after Jesus' death when his Soul was raised to God 32:11, 6:94
There is no any reason nor any logic and rationally to translate word WAFAT in 5:117, 3:55 as "To Take up to God". That is 101% Tehreef=tampering

A physical raising - “To Allah” clashes with fundamental creed. Allah is not bound by time and space. Allah is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent. So what does it even mean for Prophet Isa to be raised (UP) to Allah? In space, there isn’t really an “up” or “down”. Prophet Isa could not have been raised physically But rather Rafa (Raising) here is similar to the raising of Idris, in terms of honor and status.

The one big issue with this is this Ayah: ‘And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things’” (al-Ma'idah 5:117)
I.e. Allah asks Jesus if he told people to worship him and his mother after his departure. Jesus denies this here by saying that he only told them to worship Allah, and that he was witness over them while he was on earth.
Now, if Jesus were to return again, then most certainly he would know that christians took him as God and worshiped him. But in his answer to God, it seems he is indicating thtat he did not know what they did after he left, i.e. he did not know that they started worshiping him.
Oh, and I am not a Qadiani or something - as I know they bring up this issue. No, I am bringing up this issue because because it does seem to strongly indicate that on the Day of Judgement Isa will not know that people worshiped him after his departure - which is in opposition to the claim of his second coming.
The second thing, which you brushed away, but seems to be very important is: How come that the OLDEST collection of hadith, i.e. the Muwatta does not have anything about the second coming of Isa?
Does this not strike you as strange? That all the other, later collections have the supposed hadiths, but the earliest ones does not have it? And the same, as you mentioned, regarding the signs of the hour -- you mentioned that Muwatta does not have this ... yet the newer hadith collections have so many "signs", partly contradicting each other.
Does this not strike you as odd?

Here are evidences what rasul(sa) understood the word "tawaffathanee"... in surah maidah. 5:117.. Rasul(sal) understood as death meaning himself and he(sa) did not meant this as raised up alive. There are some references where ibn abbas ral interpreted as death for related verses...
Nestorian christians of those times when islam set foot on sham were given higher positions durind ommayad dynasty. They injected their beliefs to islam thru ahadith.
Historically speaking, those were theocratical society. Earlier periods were theocrstical society .. when evil spread by rulers much, in order to pacify public, savior theories were spread by religious authoriities of those times by their hand with those rulers. Evry religion of those times had savior theoru for future. Christianity judaism too had. Christianity believes on second coming of jesus becuase as oer the bible jesus has to come to establish God's kingdom... Thsts their belief. Same injected to islamic literstures thru hadiths. Not all accepted islam when islam set foot on sham. Obviously some hypocrites among christians too. They injected these to islam thru ahadith. They cant mutilate quran coz Allah protects it. They cant inject thru fiqh as fiqh was deeply living tradition of those times. Only way is thru hadith they have to. Early hadith books did not mention any second coming of jesus. E.g if u refer muwatta , there is none there. Hammam ibn munabbih the earliest hadith book dont have these second coming of jesus ahadiths.

I’m seriously not sure if I should be taking any knowledge from yasir qadhi, May Allah guide us all.

@@rameezahamed he is a reformist and teaches Islam from oriental sources. I don’t know what he is up to now but I would rather stay away. Any of our scholars wouldn’t take anything after the things he has said etc.

@@rameezahamed this is my decision after viewing some of his behaviour. I used to watch YQ many years ago….. Search for these brothers who provide evidence, Sakai’s Lipham, The muslim Skeptic and Sheikh Karin Abu Zair even wrote a book to refute yasir qadhi! One example is “grave worship”. We only worship Allah, but YQ made it seem like it is ok to do so and is not shirk! Astaghfirullah. And Allah knows best, I would rather stay away.

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO YOU LIKE OR FEEL GOOD FOR..
BUT WHAT MATTERS IS THAT WHEN JESUS(ALEHISALAAM) RETURNS WILL YOU ACCEPT HIM?
IF YOU DON'T THEY YOU HAVE TO FALL INTO DAJJALS TRAP
