Agree. Some people get so offended when they hear "I'm glad ...didn't make it" before they hear the explanation. I with you, with what IOI produced, it doesn't fit with Soyeon. She can do cute "softer" styles but the feel I get from her is more of a badass style. Also like you said she wasn't able to show her full potential as Soyeon is so talented, she can sing, rap, dance, and compose. People assume that I calling someone untalented/not good enough when I say I'm glad they didnt make it which in some cases it is, that is I think the person needs more training/polishing not calling them untalented. You need some potential talent to compete. At times like in Soyeon case I say that because I'm thinking of the results, such as style of music and if it's a good fit.

Till today I still couldn't believe that Samuel not able to win any place. He used to be Jihoon's competitor as first place but his ranking getting lower after. He also got last place for Get Ugly team when he actually was a center. Not saying others not good enough but... idk. Somi from JYP is a mixed as well but able to top. Thus, that time international producer can vote but samuel and jong hyun, baekho as well as gaeun and chowon didn't make it as much as international producer wanted them to debut...its a sad reality they are consistenly on the top but during finale they didn't make it. One of my desire and I hope they will stay as a group forever. I.O.I and WANNAONE has a lot fanbase. Its really a heart breaking to see them disband knowing that they can stay more to industry.

Also, he got a lot of voted against him from fandoms for Jihoon, Daehwi, etc. because he got second place. If Lai Guanlin made it, I'm sure it wasn't racism...

yoon minyoung was such an underrated rapper for someone who was arguably the best rapper out of all the p48 trainees and even in the entire three seasons of produce, alongside soyeon. also wang yiren not making it into the final group was one of the biggest plot-twists for me. not only was she voted the most beautiful trainee but she also had the dancing skills and the flexibility to go with it. however nonetheless she’s finally making a debut in yuehua’s new girl group along with sihyun. the group is called “EVERGLOW” please look out for them :)

Produce 101 s1 wasn't that bad, the lineup was kinda fair. With Produce 101 s2 the problems started. *SAMUEL WAS ROBBED* Produce 48 was a total mess. *CHOWON, YUNJIN, KAEUN... WERE ROBBED* ALSO IN THE FINAL LINEUP YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT HYEWON RANKED HIGHER THAN CHAEYEON, CHAEWON, MINJU, HITOMI, MIYU, MIHO, HAEYOON... SERIOUSLY? HYEWON improved a lot but she isn't that talented. _Tea spilled_
Dont blame Hyewon for being higher than the other contestants who make it in Top 12. Being talented isnt just about singing or dancing and yes she improved a lot. I'm also sad cuz chowon, kaeun, miho and miyu didnt debut but I dont blame the other contestants who make it in Top 12

Well it's a matter of preferences, i think. But i personally agree that Taehyun was the best. I got goosebumps watching his dance, and that's a rare case for me. He is definitely one of the best dancers out there!

No hate but this is my feeling . I’m big fan Produce 101 s1 but after Jeon Soyeon doesn’t make her debut I still support IOI but not fan . Same as PD101 S2 Kim Samuel and Justin doesn’t make their debut and now PD48 it so sad that Haeun Kaeun didn’t make it again . I don’t understand why talent people like them doesn’t make it
i totally get the Samuel/Justin part, but if youve watched Idol Producer you can see that, in comparison to his time in P101 S2, Justin improved a hell ton of a lot. I think it was better for him to not debut with W1, but with 9% (even though they get like..nothing) and NEX7 after. I feel like if he debuted in W1 he wouldnt have gotten a lot of the chances he got now. For samuel tho, I wouldve loved to see him in W1, but i support him just as much as a solo artist. The way it turned out with his company in the end really sucks, but i really hope he can get everything sorted out and come back soon under a new, better company and with amazing music.
@Kpop_lover I actually haven't seen any updates on him yet, i think he took a break from everything after his father died. But my guess would be that he'll be filing a lawsuit to get out of Braves contract (if it isnt terminated yet) and maybe look to sign with a new company

Hwanwoong needs more attention and so should oneus the group he's in they debuted in January 2019 but still their songs and their talents deserve more attention

Honestly, Justin and Jung Jung (Zhu Zhengting) are living it up in China and are super popular there so maybe it was a blessing in disguise they didn't quite make it into Wannaone. They did gain a following, though, which I think is one of the best things to come out for some individuals who didn't make it.
The reason why he didn't make it is that he is young that time. I hope seventeen remain the 17 members but due to circumstances 13 members stayed. Samuel is doing great right now as a soloist. Still, SVT will always there supporting Samuel.
Each produce season specialization (for PD101 and 48 only, i wasnt into PD101S2: Produce 101 had the best singers and the most talented and charismatic trainees were in the final line up. The first season made what the other produce season are today. Meanwhile Produce48 had the best dancers, (although pd101 has chungha) but Produce48 had a lot more other great dancers aside from ofcourse the best of the season; Lee Chaeyeon. Produce 48 also had a lot of memorable trainees because of the various personalities given there were japaneses akb48 trainees.
Wisest decision made in pd101 s2 was when Jonghyun didn't make to debut line up, tbh I root for him to the extent where I could only hope he won't debut in pd 101 as nu'est really need him, that was their first intention to join pd 101. Afterall their hardwork paid off😭
The fact that Chowon is in both the singing and rapping ranking (when she's not even a rapper) proves she will be full package when she debuts. Miyu and Miho being japanese trainee did such a good job all the time and they were the best japanese vocalist with Nako. I hope they can debut in Korea ! :D

He is definitely the best male vocal ever on produce, but because of "evil editing" no one knows how insanely good he is.

Thank you for acknowledging Chaejeong as a rapper and haesol as a singer. Despite what happened with Chaejeong on pd48 I respect her as a rapper because she has really good stage presence. And for Haesol she's so good her voice is clearer than Eunbi's and she's more stable than Yuri and Chaeyeon imo i love her i can't believe she's only a lead vocal in aqua.
Stability has nothing to do with singing. She barely supports any of her notes and usually just shouted along with Haeyoon to reach the notes(Similar to previous seasons like yeonjeong and jaewhan). The only singers in pd48 that had well developed support were Yuri and yunjin. The rest either didn’t support or didn’t have enough training to know how to support. The trainers actually were helpful this season though and honestly should be used in later seasons as they actually helped the trainees try and reach notes healthily.
I know I’m late, but I’m really happy that you put Hwanwoong in here, and you even put him on 2nd place! I hope that gets him and ONEUS some more attention. In my opinion, he’s really underrated for his dancing... well, I actually think ONEUS as a whole is underrated, if I’m completely honest. >•< So, if you didn’t already, it would mean a lot to To Moon if you’d check them out! yoon minyoung was such an underrated rapper for someone who was arguably the best rapper out of all the p48 trainees and even in the entire three seasons of produce, alongside soyeon.
also wang yiren not making it into the final group was one of the biggest plot-twists for me. not only was she voted the most beautiful trainee but she also had the dancing skills and the flexibility to go with it. however nonetheless she’s finally making a debut in yuehua’s new girl group along with sihyun. the group is called “EVERGLOW” please look out for them :)

i totally get the Samuel/Justin part, but if youve watched Idol Producer you can see that, in comparison to his time in P101 S2, Justin improved a hell ton of a lot. I think it was better for him to not debut with W1, but with 9% (even though they get like..nothing) and NEX7 after. I feel like if he debuted in W1 he wouldnt have gotten a lot of the chances he got now.
For samuel tho, I wouldve loved to see him in W1, but i support him just as much as a solo artist. The way it turned out with his company in the end really sucks, but i really hope he can get everything sorted out and come back soon under a new, better company and with amazing music.

Each produce season specialization (for PD101 and 48 only, i wasnt into PD101S2:
Produce 101 had the best singers and the most talented and charismatic trainees were in the final line up. The first season made what the other produce season are today.
Meanwhile Produce48 had the best dancers, (although pd101 has chungha) but Produce48 had a lot more other great dancers aside from ofcourse the best of the season; Lee Chaeyeon. Produce 48 also had a lot of memorable trainees because of the various personalities given there were japaneses akb48 trainees.
Wisest decision made in pd101 s2 was when Jonghyun didn't make to debut line up, tbh I root for him to the extent where I could only hope he won't debut in pd 101 as nu'est really need him, that was their first intention to join pd 101. Afterall their hardwork paid off😭
The fact that Chowon is in both the singing and rapping ranking (when she's not even a rapper) proves she will be full package when she debuts.
Miyu and Miho being japanese trainee did such a good job all the time and they were the best japanese vocalist with Nako. I hope they can debut in Korea ! :D

I was looking for him but he wasn't there!??? Like I didn't know he was such an amazing singer till I watched him and Honggi sing i still love you, and then his performance on king of masked singer was insane. He is definitely the best male vocal ever on produce, but because of "evil editing" no one knows how insanely good he is.

Thank you for acknowledging Chaejeong as a rapper and haesol as a singer. Despite what happened with Chaejeong on pd48 I respect her as a rapper because she has really good stage presence. And for Haesol she's so good her voice is clearer than Eunbi's and she's more stable than Yuri and Chaeyeon imo i love her i can't believe she's only a lead vocal in aqua.
Stability has nothing to do with singing. She barely supports any of her notes and usually just shouted along with Haeyoon to reach the notes(Similar to previous seasons like yeonjeong and jaewhan). The only singers in pd48 that had well developed support were Yuri and yunjin. The rest either didn’t support or didn’t have enough training to know how to support. The trainers actually were helpful this season though and honestly should be used in later seasons as they actually helped the trainees try and reach notes healthily.
I know I’m late, but I’m really happy that you put Hwanwoong in here, and you even put him on 2nd place! I hope that gets him and ONEUS some more attention. In my opinion, he’s really underrated for his dancing... well, I actually think ONEUS as a whole is underrated, if I’m completely honest. >•< So, if you didn’t already, it would mean a lot to To Moon if you’d check them out!
