The agate at 14:55 that's very dark, you seemed disappointed but I think it's beautiful! Maybe it's the camera picking up its best features, but it has an almost deep-sea vibe to it that's very unique and lovely.

The new setup is amazing, Wish you alot of enjoyment. I´m still settling in and have not had the time yet to start on my first setup... never going to look anything like yours but it will be good enough for practicing it as a hobby. Probably not going to be able to fit a cab king in there 😂 so if anyone can recommend a good cabbing machine that is not gigantic you´d be welcome. Cheers

I've always loved agates. I had a lovely Scottish teacher over 60 years ago now, who wore agate jewellery which fascinated me. Queen Victoria popularised Scottish agate jewellery and for the gents there were cravat pins, watch fobs, desk accessories such as pen rests, ink wells, pen handles, paperweights, postage stamp boxes etc.
Remember the zicari principle: every horizontal surface eventually becomes storage! Unusual for the out of country agates to be consistently better than the in country. I like the Laguna pink, mostly because I don't remember seeing a pink one before.
We could hear you just fine! Really enjoying your cuttings in your new shop! The golden walls in your shop really set the stage for the rocks and your joy!
I have a old tile saw we got at a pawn shop just so I can cut Malawi agates...I love them.. I didn't know about them until I watched your show.. so thank you for for introducing me to them . I love getting to see the surprise inside 😊
