In the first batch of Australian agates you sliced open, either the 3rd/4th stone when you showed us, the 3 grey wavy bands as I saw the halves, appeared to be 3-D instead of flat surface. All your cuts have created interesting patterns. Do you create freeform stones instead of the standard shapes? Many years ago I used to cut-polish freeform stones and set them into my handcrafted Sterling jewelry.
ya know, it would be really cool if you put a world map up on the wall and stuck pins in the places you've cut stones from. Lol I have a feeling your audience would not only find that super interesting, but also just might inspire some stones getting sent your way just to put a pin in the map!
These agates surprised me with the beauty and absolute coolness! They all pulled me into the cutting process! Thank you to our gentleman who sent you these. They are amazing!
Go with your gut, they are your agates, it's your shop and equipment. Let them get their own if they want to do it different. I find your channel very relaxing and uplifting, keep doing what you are doing. I never subscribe to any channels on a first viewing, yours has been the exception.
Wonderful thank you Dan for letting our man the Agate Dad cut these beautiful pieces. Thank you Agate Dad as always for your entertaining video. Your joy at the reveals is great to watch.
You made the right call on that milky one 3/4s of the way thru video.. yes, around the edges so beautiful. You are Lucky! Trust your gut! You did amazing 👏
Hi FYI a German agate cutter did a show on agates with exit/entrance vents your large Aussie wave hill? orange appears to have prominent vents great show
I think the one at 10:18 is my fav, it really captured my imagination!. The scene that came to mind was the reflection of a city block seen in rainy pavement🏙️🌧️ Glad you trusted your gut on that cut! 💪🏼 Great set of cuts this time. Excited for the next!
❤💯That last one is absolutely FANTASTIC even with the fractured tail end ..... they all were very, very beautiful. Keep showing us all the hidden treasures that God has hidden in those rough gems ! Kind of like all of us here on this big rock ... we might not be so pretty on the outside but we are all beautiful on the inside .... stay warm !
The Bob Ross of rockhounds, I can watch your videos for hours!!! We have 2 of your Septerian (sp) in the mail, live your videos, thank you for being an awesome channel.
Wave Hill agates are among my faves.. some of the most intricate fine banding of any agates, colors can be similar to LSA paint agates. There can be a lot of eyes, like on the husk. I hear larger nodules are likely to have a lot of quartz. Last I heard the location is closed to the public. Thanks for sharing!
Wow wow wow 🤯 those all turned out great that last one is my favorite too and the one when you held them together looked like two little tadpole 🎣 monsters 💀 lol
Never seen raw prehnite before definitely quality piece so gorgeous. I have some beads that are prehnite. I love the shade of green. The last one with the gorgeous coral shades was fantastic the quartz really set it off. Nice agates.
I am a beader and use cabs in my jewelry. If you make cans I am hoping you have a website where they can be purchased. Love your channel. I touches my child hear and brings back warm memories from childhood.
Thanks Dan! I love to see the courts in with the egg gets I think it adds to the details. Those were some very interesting and beautiful agates. I'd like to see the green one polished or see a cavachon from it!
As you speak, I have a chunk of prehnite on my desk that my husband bought me for Mother's Day. It's nice, but nothing like what you just cut. Beautiful! The water level agate that you cut at 10:00 is wonderful! I think you should keep at least one half intact and face polish it for your collection. Don't sell it. That is so pretty! So great to have your video to watch today, really needed to soak in your calm, gentle enthusiasm. Thanks for sharing.
Have a great day ❤
You as well. 💚💚💚
You do actually look like a dad
Awesome cuts, delicious results.
It's better now, seeing a rock slicing video! Good day to you ,too!

You have really great instincts for where to cut. Not sure if I like the rocks or your obvious enthusiasm for their uniqueness more❣️

I think these gussied agates are my favorite. That green one blew me away.
I love the quartz in the final cut. It reminds me of a citrus section, or a light colored iris.
That Preinite is amazing. I love your reactions. You definitely love agates. Honestly, I don't think you have favorites. You love them all.
