Jim cantore loves to be in the hurricanes and he loves the blizzards with thundersnow he comes to the northeast Boston area during the winter blizzard nor Easter big storms that go through bombogenisis in blizzards during the winter here.

Jim just had to redeem himself for all the times where kids were in the background, either running naked giving peace signs or high fiving each other! Not all storms are wind and rain events.....this one had a little of both going fast.
As a resident of Wilmington, NC........ this hurricane was more than what I expected from a cat 1 and I’ve lived here for 50 years. Not the worst storm or even close to anything like that but it has a significant punch. Glad it was a fast moving system

Jim I am a 13 yr old that was inspired by u during hurricane Irma I have wanted to be a meteorologist since I was like 4 and this is my dream but to be like Dr Knabb not out in it that is a rule per my parents. Remember people this is only a Cat 1, and he has struggled through Irma which was a Cat 3 at landfall. This is my dream.

I often wonder why Cantore left the relatively mild, predictable weather of Seattle, for I guess more money at the Weather Channel...He was a fixture on Seattle TV for quite a few years, and was good at forecasting....I am so glad I dropped the idea of being in Radio/TV as an undergrad...the nomadic aspect of all that is depressing to me!
Bro I was inside of it and it was a desaster so many trees fell my power went out and it was bad I saw my dad's fire station responding (no my dad dosen not own it) three trees fell one landed on a power line and is now dagaling on the power line but some reason we still have power, one other fell in the road and our township workers put it in our yard and one fell in our neighbors driveway and almost hit his car our WiFi and power was out for a while until the power came back on when the storm was over but the WiFi came back on today August 5 2020 (I did that in case some people are looking at this in the Future Edit: the tree is still on the power line and we still have power and WiFi on August 5 2020 Edit: today August 14 2020 the tree is gone
