Thats becauee AL is giving innocently sexual vibes out of their characters rather than straight up sex. The suggestiveness is what sparks out loads of r34 fanart Meanwhile look at those "hentai" anime where they put merely 1 or 2 sex scene throught out whole 12 episodes, the amount of hentai doujins of it drastically decreases(if not dropped to zero). Thats because the people get the dose and not willing to go futhur, it could also be the official sex scene limits the way headcanon goes thus limiting the number of fanarts.
It does have quite a lot of significance to many people, I am a connoisseur of the site and browse upon it 10 hours a day usually. It is my very favorite website in all existence and has actual great artistic talent upon it.
My first rule 34 was ankha on new grounds in the mid 2000's. I had a crush on her as a child, so I like to think the events that have transpired over the past dozen months was a sign from God that I have good taste in girls and I refuse to believe otherwise.
My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. I live in the north state of Morioh, where most villas are. I make youtube videos where I cover topics like furries, anime, yaoi, and mature material. I never smoke, although I occasionaly drink. After making 30 pushups and having a warm glass of milk, I go to bed. I never have troubles sleeping, and in some dreams i find stuff that I cover in my videos. What I'm trying to say is that i want to live a peaceful life. I never intend to get myself into a fight, although if I was into that situation, I would never lose
2 of the longest exceptions to Rule 34 were Theodore Tugboat and Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. Then a couple years ago someone made some tit edits for Theodore Tugboat characters and in May 2021, after 15 years, there was finally some Rule 34 of Marvel Nemesis characters. 4 images at time of writing. Now the only exceptions are obscure tv pilots and indie comics that aren't popular yet. Rule 34 is powerful stuff.
The Taboo element does seem to be correct. There may be a inverse relationship between Erotic scenes/Fanservice and Rule34 art. Let's take Redo of a healer or Ishuzoki Reviewers as an example. These two series prominently feature lewd scenes and so artists are not inclined to make Rule34 of it while the king of Rule34 is Sonic which is completely innocent in it's source material. While the examples I have given are two extremes, I will try to gather a larger sample size to prove this theory
If you don’t mind me asking, will you be providing a thesis about this? Currently I’m documenting every review/philosophy of fellow cultured men researching Rule 34. Hope to write a book explaining the cycles of the Internet.
@@displaynockker9822 I will try my best to write a full thesis on the topic. I am currently in the process of collecting as many names of cultured and uncultured media as I can get my hands on
Yes, it's called Rules 42-Nothing is sacred, and 43 - The more beautiful and pure a thing, the more satisfying it is to corrupt it. The 'cleaner' the source material, the greater quantity of porn produced.
The reason that Rule 34 is so pervasive is because it is more than just a rule of the internet. Rule 34 is a rule of the human mind. Humans will find sexuality in anything. The reason that it has only come to be widely known recently and labelled as a "Rule of the Internet" is because the quantity of humans on Earth and the internet's capability to connect them has brought about the emergence of this rule that has lay dormant in the human mind since its inception. It's been here the whole time.
. R34 as an art form is interesting as a large part of s3xual expression in both in art and how we attract is in the personality and characteristics of the subject. Because you are taking a pre-established charater that can have a extensive background of their personality traits or even their appearance can be representative of those traits (which is more true for furry art), you can create far stronger artistic expressions than if you use an oc charater. If you are talented enough you can take a character that is represented in their media as having no s3xual representation and make a aristic expression of that while keeping all their characteristics and personality traits, therefor making an entirely new derivative of that character. Unfortunately most artist and audiences don't care or arn't knowledgeable about any of this, so a lot of it is bad (from a artistic perspective).
For some reason I disliked Nux before this lecture and seeing this has changed my opinion of him. He is such a cultured and intelligent 3D anime model driven by a human (maybe). I sincerely enjoy his presence.
He used to be a pretty annoying drama farmer in the anime space. Not sure if his content has changed much in the Vtuber era but if he's chilled out maybe he's worth watching again.
@@CloudCollapse He puts out so much content that I usually don't watch many anymore, but he does competitions amongst his friends on his main channel and stream highlights reacting to reddit or videos on his second channel. He also donates to streamers to get them to unintentionally sing meme songs like Never Gonna Give You Up.
11:20 People like feet because the part of your brain that "thinks" about feet is connected to the part that "thinks" about genitals. I hope this helped, Professor. - A loyal student
The part where our Professor drew the character's expression based on the ZONE parodies so accurately makes me want to say, _"I think we all know where this is going..."_
This content is somehow both genuine and satirical simultaneously. It takes a lot of guts as well as insight to discuss social fringe culture and treat it with all of the reverence and gravity of conventional topics.
I think the appeal of rule 34 largely stems from two places: first is that people are often more sexually attracted to people they know than to strangers. And after watching so many episodes, you kinda feel like you know them. Secondly, it benefits from borrowing the best pieces of other media. This is a lot of what happened with ankha, she was a great character in animal crossing, and she remained a great character in zone's animation. That meant the animation could appeal to people who never played animal crossing. That was a very interesting insight, that original Hentai is rule 34 of itself. I'd never thought of it that way, but it kinda makes sense
Holy crap, i find another person that acknowledges that zone did a great job respenting her model and expression of who and what she is. Even having the balls to represent her cat tendencies properly. You can take a character that has no representation of a s3xual expression, and make one while retaining all their personality and characteristics. Its sad how little people understand anything about art.
Eh... I wouldn't say it's the taboo for me that makes it more interesting than just going to Porghub. To me, it's more about knowing the characters or not. I'm sure some of the storylines of horny pizza delivery boys and bi-curious cheerleaders are well crafted works of fiction and all, but they're never going to equal getting to know a character in a more fleshed out way over a show or anime series. Let's face it, I've spent more time watching and getting to know some of these characters than my real life friends, and I know I'm not alone in that.
Hmm... yes it's really the same appeal as something like onlyfans when you get down to it. When you make an emotional bond or attachment to the character or creator, any sort of sexual content that follows will be that much more rewarding. Sometimes rewarding enough for people to pay absurd amounts of money for. I for one would rather fuck my girlfriend than some random hooker I would never see again, and all men of culture who delve into rule34 would likely share similar remarks.
there is a scientifical explanation about foot fetishes here is what i found heres is the first result of a biologist : He said that foot fetishes occur due to the part of the brain called the somatosensory cortex, which is the area that makes 'you feel things'. Valkai said: "You can see that your feet and your toes are right next to your genitals on your brain. ... "That's why foot fetishes are the most common fetishes in the world." Anyway if you wanna more just search yourself foot fetish scientifically explained then...bye :D also love rule 34 !
well i dint expected to get so much likes but hey if i can make people learn something xD when my husband told me that i was also very surprisedd at first so yeah x) and ima woman just if anyones migh be confused idk i just dont wanna get weird questions i guess.. you can never know xD
I always think back to the Disney artist story how new character artists are taken to the back and shown all of the explicit porn of all the Disney characters and its explained that every character that they make will meet the same fate.
7:55 if i could add my own tought, i believe rule34 is powerful itself because of the... Funky stuff that most people on the internet feel. People are horny, incredibly horny, it's part of our nature basically. The meme was just a spark, something to make this happen on a larger scale. Basically, almost endless supply of supply, for a giant demand. It's this perpetual energy that keeps rule34 alive. My personal theory
Meanwhile, there’s the other side of the Internet with people who are upset about seeing explicit art of their characters. I mean why do you think the Sky mod from FNF was deleted?
“Under/over sexualization = less Rule 34” From personal experience, this is true to a degree. I find certain characters exhibiting more “pure” traits have fewer (or at least harder to find) r34 material, the same applies to certain characters already being sexualized (though it seems popularity may nullify that as people seek/make material of characters they like). Now, this isn’t as universal as rule 34, but it’s a funny little thing I see from time to time.
*professor glasses on* how fascinating. But where do we draw the line of things being rule 34 and the subject in question going too far or not far enough?
Yo what Lando and Nux? Someone I currently watch and someone I used to watch and have been thinking about going back to. What a collab I never expected
Another difference between rule 34 and true hentai is that true hentai is usually based around novel characters found in media, as opposed to characters who are already established in other media
I never thought I'd watch a video where two people discuss the real questions of the universe like this. Really informative, greatly intelligent, bravo Professors
I am learning so much. I'm glad to see there is someone teaching the things that mainstream media refuses to cover. This kind of reminds me of zone-tan Ichi - cation. But I'm not learning about Japanese words, phrases and inappropriate things. You hear about these things, but you don't know the lore behind them.
I must clarify that my point about the webcomic was that it popularized the term, not create the rule!
Thanks for watching!

Thats becauee AL is giving innocently sexual vibes out of their characters rather than straight up sex. The suggestiveness is what sparks out loads of r34 fanart
Meanwhile look at those "hentai" anime where they put merely 1 or 2 sex scene throught out whole 12 episodes, the amount of hentai doujins of it drastically decreases(if not dropped to zero). Thats because the people get the dose and not willing to go futhur, it could also be the official sex scene limits the way headcanon goes thus limiting the number of fanarts.

Which is a shame because I wish there was more art of Freya as a dog.
If you don’t mind me asking, will you be providing a thesis about this?
Currently I’m documenting every review/philosophy of fellow cultured men researching Rule 34.

There is a LOT of r34 of reviewers. I've heard. Definitely not seen with my own two eyeballs. No sir, not me.

@@macshaffner6273 Never said they were.

Yeah, imo the neatest fan made stuff keeps the characters reasonably in-character.
For some reason I disliked Nux before this lecture and seeing this has changed my opinion of him. He is such a cultured and intelligent 3D anime model driven by a human (maybe). I sincerely enjoy his presence.

Huge analysis in here. This is seriously ground-breaking academic work. Especially the work on feet. Cannot be underestimated.
man u have that fire Kira Yoshikage inspired sweater, sick, i love it.
I think the appeal of rule 34 largely stems from two places:
first is that people are often more sexually attracted to people they know than to strangers.

Its almost 5am... and i just wanted to say thank you for the learning experience!
I agree, its nice to see a familiar face of a character you know and like in "explicit" material.
Sad, but sometimes true
Hmm... yes it's really the same appeal as something like onlyfans when you get down to it.
This is why I stick to fanfiction rather than videos because they are more intimate
@@thelostmessenger true
there is a scientifical explanation about foot fetishes here is what i found heres is the first result of a biologist : He said that foot fetishes occur due to the part of the brain called the somatosensory cortex, which is the area that makes 'you feel things'. The origin of Paerotica is highly likely to be even earlier than the internet, as artists have been known to be quite horny throughout history.
I always think back to the Disney artist story how new character artists are taken to the back and shown all of the explicit porn of all the Disney characters and its explained that every character that they make will meet the same fate.
If non-fiction characters saw our internet, they would think that there is a multiverse of their universe
“Under/over sexualization = less Rule 34”
From personal experience, this is true to a degree.
TV Tropes has 70 of the Rules of the Internet, 34 was probably just the next rule in line.
