Hi Barry... You need to see the one that they have at Wayfair... It's an extra large Belfry Kitchen, Dual Air Fryer 9L, 2X4.5L Dual Zone Air Fryer Digital Airfryer Oil Free Air Frier, Removable Divider, Touch Screen, 8 Presets, Sync Finish, 80-200°C 60Mins Timer, Cookbook, 2500W, Black, With a large window to watch the food cooking... And it only costs £72.99... Remove the centre divider... And you can cook a whole joint of meat in the 9L capacity Air Fryer. 👍 Cheers mate. 🍺🎅

Hi, Barry. We've had ours for over 12 months and have had zero problems. It's brilliant!. Agree about the handle but it's something you get used to. For the mesh trays we sometimes use a detachable handle which fits saucepans. 👍
Just to note that this air fryer is from Breville UK, which is a different brand than the Australian-owned Breville found in the rest of the world. The Breville trademark in the UK is owned by Newell Brands, which owns Sunbeam and a whole lot of other consumer brands. This fryer is sold elsewhere as a Sunbeam or an Oster product. *Real* Breville products are branded as SAGE in the UK and Europe.
Sage is brilliant. I had the Sage slow/fast cooker and it was brilliant. Very good quality and it did all the releasing of the pressure valve. You didn’t have to move it to vent or pressure cook like you do on other models which you sometimes forget to do. It also had pre-set features such as casserole or chilli etc and you could alter the settings within those too. Brilliant quality piece of equipment and you could see and feel the difference.
After watching this series my wife said she wished we had an air fryer… so I pointed out that we did in fact have one. It’s incredibly old and at the back of a cupboard but we got it out and made some chips. It’s an OG Tefal Actifry that constantly stirs the food. So actual air frying since it’s constantly circulating that small amount of hot oil.
Still have that and we've been using it for years. If you take the stir thingy out, you can use it as a normal air fryer, but you do have to move the food around a bit. We do roast potatoes, gammon shanks, etc. Works pretty well. Only downside to it is that it's a very awkward shape and uses up a lot of space.
I've had one for just over 6 months. The play/pause button not working is intermittent. Just power off at the wall and it works again. Apart from that i love it.
My first air fryer was an oven type and I bought it because it had a rotisserie setting! I made many a rotisserie chicken and they only took about an hour! When it stopped working I downsized because it’s just me now. I ended up finding one with a glass bucket so I can see the progress of what I’m cooking! I hadn’t really thought about the fact my air fryer oven had a window until you mentioned it in one of your videos! Thank you for that hugely helpful tip! I still make rotisserie chicken but not it’s in the toaster oven I bought after my first air fryer stopped working! It takes a little longer but with the convection oven setting in the toaster oven it’s not too bad!
I’ve had my Ginger Dual Zone air fryer for about a year now & it’s been so good to use.. but I can definitely see the advantage to having the middle divider removed for a larger internal oven
We have the HYSapientia and it one of the best kitchen buys we've ever made, 27 litres so big enough for a whole medium chicken in the built in rotisserie, just enough space for 3 racks of potatoes, veg and meat at the same time, we've used it for pizzas, cakes, joints of meat and stews as much as more typical fare, and we got it for £120 on last years black friday deals.
@@totten330 I use mine daily for just under two years and not had any issue. While I don't keep as clean as I should (I just give it a wipe down if something spills) I have deep cleaned it a few times with a steam generator and plenty of elbow grease.
@scapegoat42 that's my point far harder to clean than needs be i swapped to a built-in oven with the airfry settin as we're a family of 7 so need the space and has the pyrolytic cleaning option so cleans itself
I've had that air fryer a couple of weeks now. I love it too. I previously had a oven type for a couple of years until it finally failed, I find using the handle the other way up makes it a bit more stable and also I can hold my finger on the temperature plus button and it goes up automatically rather than keep on pressing it

I feel like you're using the handle upside down. The way you're attaching it I can definitely see how it would feel insecure. Attaching it the other way seems like it would be more secure. It looks like there is a gap to insert it this way.

It's a bit funny how he says "it's like having two ovens", while there literally are two ovens behind him (I know he likes that it saves energey. It still seems funny)
I have the Sunbeam Multi Zone Airfryer, which looks almost the same, and I love it. I take it away with me when I go on holidays as alot of holiday apartments only have a microwave and a couple of hobs to cook on. I have cooked chicken, nachos and baked cakes cookies and pies in it, it's great love it.❤
I have the Emeril Lagassi Dual Zone air fryer oven and I love it. It is very high quality. I had a Chefman model for several years then I upgraded to this model to cook large items. I quite prefer the oven style to the basket style. I find that I hardly ever use my basket style air fryer.
We bought a Cuisinart one that is similar...only one big compartment though. Really like it. It bakes, air fry's, dehydrates, and a few other things. Can be complicated, but it's really versatile and since there is just 2 of us, it's nice to not have to heat up a full oven when we're just making a quick side or need 2 chicken breasts. Fries, pizza rolls, appetizers like that cook great and get really crispy and cook much faster than in the oven. It's great.
@cherylcooper2838 I mean I have had one for 4 years and have never had a problem with it, u can do a medium chicken and the drip tray on the bottom catches juices and crumbs, you just wipe it out after use and it's good to go again.
I've found the multi-function square air fryer/combo device do only fair on everything-including air frying. The bucket air fryers do the best at air frying-the hot air circulation seems to be better.
Yeah I have found the tower air fryer to be not that much quicker at cooking than the over but it is considerably cheaper than running my over as I live alone, can make a whole roast in there for myself, hardly use my oven now, the bucket ones certainly do cook alot quicker though, I guess without the door and viewing window they hold in the heat alot better.
I have an Oster brand mini oven after having had a few bucket style ones I’ll never go back to buckets. I can fit a whole 12 inch pizza and it has a large basket fit fries. Best part was using the mini oven outside in summer rather than heating up my house with the regular oven. I made lasagna , meat loaf , roasts , homemade pizza and other typical air fryer foods.
I’ve only had this style of air fryer. I’ve cooked a roast lamb, roast beef and chook. Mine have all had a rotisserie feature. I now only ever use my oven for cooking larger items: cakes or roast veggies for when I’m cooking a roast in my air fryer
That's why I like the Tefal FW501815. It is more like a small oven. It doesn't have a basket. I like that better because you can look into it. So the benefits of a small toaster oven but it functions like an air fryer. And it is smaller than this one in the video, which is perfect for one person. And it has a dehydration function, and a rotating chicken grill thingy.
We have a Breville Smart Oven (a bit different than this one) and we love it. Since we only have one oven for baking we use it as a second oven all the time. I don't know why I never thought to bake whole potatoes in there - I'm gonna try that soon!!
It's also £129.99 at Currys, which is like 10 minutes from me and theres no risk of the Amazon delivery driver leaving it on my doorstep so someone can steal it! Quite tempted, plus better insurance and warranty. EDIT: Argos has it for that price too with a two year warranty.
I've got one pretty much identical, except single-compartment and grey. Had it for a couple of years now and have literally not used my "real" oven once since then. I use that one for storage these days.
I've got a larger single bay oven-style air fryer and I'll put protein on the top shelf (like frozen fish or chicken nuggets) and frozen broccoli on the lower trays (a pound comes in a package here and one tray can comfortably hold that), in for about 375F for about 20 min or until the broccoli starts going brown (no oil needed but it can help seasoning stick to broccoli) and the juices from the meat or whatever drip over the veg (it comes with 3 mesh trays and a drip tray) and it's a very simple, quick, no mess meal.
I've had a Breville Halo air fryer for years - one of the rotating kinds. Sort of knock-off Tefal Actifry. Love it. Use it weekly. Sometime multiple times weekly. It's solid. This looks like it was made to a price in somewhere radio is still popular.
It's nice that you can take the middle out to use the whole thing to cook big items. The provided trays seem really useful, I wish mine came with meshes like those. Tho I don't like how glossy it looks
My Instant Omni Plus (think: Instant Pot company) has almost completely replaced my oven. ... of course, I'm not sure if it's available in the UK. Thanks for all the fun videos!
Mine doesn't have two seperate sides but it does have a rotisery to roast chicken, and a circular rotating basket for fries or something like chicken wings. It also has a wire rack for things like bread or whatever won't fall through the rack separations. lol Also a Wire basket tray for jacket potatoes or nuggets or whatever you decide to put on it. It also has a solid tray that you can put anything you want on it or to catch the juices from whatever you are cooking above. It has an air fryer function and an oven function. It has a window in the door and a light so you can see how things are going. Oh and it comes with the spit to put the chicken on to roast it. I rarely use my oven. It's an Anko brand. I think it was $350.00 if I remember correctly
It's a very interesting and clever design - my only concern about it is whether the air fry function is truly air frying (as in, high heating element, strong fans, and exhausting moist air out) I've seen many toaster ovens claim to be air fryers but in actuality they just slapped on a weak fan for a convection mode and pretended that it's air frying. It's fine for mild roasting but it'll never be truly air frying.
I got a Chefman one with a window in the front for around £40 on Amazon just before black friday. It is a bit more work to clean than models without a window in the bucket, since it adds some little crevices, but the window and light are super handy for checking on things. It was much nicer than I expected it to be given the price (which was more expensive on black friday than what I paid...). I'm sure there is some value add in the more common name brand models (Maybe the warranties?), but I'm happy.
I have the 15 in 1 Foodi Smartlid. It has a dehydrator, dough prover, pressure cooker, slow cooker, air fryer etc. it's good but bloody loud, and for 7.5L not as spacious as you'd think..the rack inserts feel flimsy and can't fit much on them, and on the two tier rack the top stuff is way too close to the heating element
I have one that has shelves and is meant to double as a dehydrator, but you have to make sure you don't try and dehydrate anything that the fan is going to blow off the mesh shelves as soon as you turn it on. It also has a rotisserie function with a rotisserie chip (fries) basket, so that's been used a fair bit. Perfect chips every time in 20 minutes. Fluffy on the inside, with a crispy crunch on the outside. Sold in Australia under K-Mart's Anko brand with the model number AF1006 which they don't seem to sell now. It looks like it's been replaced by the AF1202 model which sells for $119 AUD. The same price as the old model but it's now 12 litres instead of 11 and somehow weighs less
I've got a similar one to this from Tower. You can't remove the central divider and it doesn't have the buckets, but the functionality is pretty much the same.
for me a big thing was it having a rotisserie. if your going to make a lot of fries and the like, then a rotisserie basket is a must. so i got one (Nuwave Brio 15.5Qt Air Fryer Rotisserie Oven, X-Large Family Size). its perfect for everything i need, i can put a whole chicken on the rotisserie. its also 15.5qt 1800w
I got the Instant Vortex plus for £40 on sale last year and honestly its fantastic (has a window and 6 in 1 features. Feels half decent in terms of build too)
I really do find that airfryers like this have made my oven redundant unless i'm cooking for a large group, I even find the finish for things such as chicken and fish is much better in an air fryer.
looks perfect for doing some chicken fajitas. seasoned chicken thighs in the top tray, peppers and onions in the bottom catching all the chicken juices. Yum
Mate, you'd be interested to know that I was just watching you cook a ham in Coke 7 years ago and I loved seeing the old Bazza. You were still a natural at this stuff 😅 A bit more relaxed seeming then, a fraction less energy. But I think you've gotten extremely mote accomplished, almost to where you can back off hahaha. I love your colabs with Ashens because I can tell you've been doing this stuff together forever 😅
Hi Barry this is the air fryer I told you about months ago it’s the same as we have at home we now don’t own an oven it’s brilliant only thing is have noticed you are using the handle upside down just letting you know it’s more sturdy is you have it the right way up 🤣🤣 hope you and family have a great Christmas
Casori are the best imho. Seems over thought out this one. I have a big basket £50 casori and better off buying 2 of these if you want dual cooking. Casori also does the dual stuff for similar/cheaper price. But in my £50 one, you can crisp a whole chicken without the need for turning. It has well thought out vents in the side of the basket that channel the hot air underneath. Dont need to shake fries either.
The price of the Emeril dual zone is normally $300.00 US but, they are having sales prices right now. I ordered mine through Walmart and bought a restored one for $189.00. If you would rather go to a store to get it, they are available at Walmart in the US.
If you were starting a new and had limited space, this appliance could serve numerous purposes. But, if you already have a toaster oven and bread toaster and other gadgets, there's a lot of overlap and it takes up quite a bit of space. It's most likely unserviceable for most people and there's plenty on it to break after a few months use. So, it will be worth revisiting in a year to see how it has held up.
I bought myself one about a month ago and couldn't believe all the trays etc I have had a problem with the on/off button but don't want to send it back it's too good in every other way that I just keep pressing it till it works
I guess you will have to continue to use this air fryer/mini oven to see if you do have any issues with the start/stop function or any other issues you might have with it. Maybe try "fried" chicken in it or other foods you have done in some of your other air fryers. Maybe something else you could test out is some pasta makers, like the Emeril Ligase (sp) pasta maker?
Personally i feel that, the more technological a kitchen appliance is, the faster its going to break.. im oldschool and want everything as simple as possible, and all my kitchentools in stainless steel and not plastic, so it will last me a lifetime lol. Good video as always
Exactly! Kinda like when cars went from manual windows to electric. When the wiring messed up, you were just stuck in a hot car. Getting it fixed was pricey. But if the manual windows messed up you could fix yourself. 🤷♀️
@@mammie19621962thats why i drive an old 2004 Volvo, if something breaks, i can fix it myself.. if i get a car from like, 2020, i cant even fix a headlight myself if it breaks since theyve made it so difficult and you have to turn it into a mechanic to get it fixed 🙄
FYI, this is not the Sage (UK/EU) / Breville (US) company that makes great espresso machines, blenders etc. This is the Breville company that makes cheap expresso machines, blenders etc compared to the actual Sage / Breville company. They are the reason why the actual company is called Breville in the US and Sage in Europe. So although you might think you're getting a good deal, you are dealing with a completely different company
Only tiny issue I have is that I think your being too critical of the handle thing. It's basically a grill pan handle, you wouldn't expect to be able to grip on to and take out baking trays from a normal oven with a detachable grill pan handle. I don't see how this is any different. That aside you've done a fantastic job of reviewing this, I might be forced to get one and I'm like you were and absolutely loath air fryers.
Seeing the chicken cooking reminded me of a magician's assistant in the 'saw a lady in half' trick and now I can't stop laughing! 😂 You'd probably need some extra moisture to replace the chicken juices, but the paprika paste can work on Quorn filet pieces as well for Phoebe. 😊 As for the air fryer, I think I'll stick with my Ginger. 🧡😊
Hello Barry, thanks for sharing... why don't you put the grilling Tray at the bottom, then put your ingredients in a ovenproof bowl or plate and place it on top of the grill. That WAY when you put the Light on, you can see the food. No need to use the bucket. Could you plse review the FAGO air fryer? Heard it's a good one, just like an oven. Thanks, love what you doing, hi to Mrs B! 😊
It is better ones out there for your money participate to clunky a bit cheap material I would like a test more air fryers keep up good content😊😊 like this one
I have a Tower Vortx Vizion T17151 Air Fryer It's cheaper than this model, i's more powerful, you just get baskets, but different modes, with match and sync for flexibility and cooking things on time time, and it has lights and windows to see inside the air fryer whilst the food cooks I love it!
One thing I would like to know about this air fryer in particular is that it's not two separate chambers due to the dividing wall... Would cooking something pungent in one side affect the other? Niche scenario I know but if I wanted to cook a nice mac and cheese and my bf wanted to roast some fish/garlic/kippers ect would I be getting a kippery pasta is what I'd want to know.
I have seen many of these dual zone or combo AF and no one has ever said the odors transfer from one food to another. It is supposed to be a sealed system, otherwise the hot air wouldn't work well.
Hi. Just wondering if you have reviewed the Ninja speedi. I think it's fantastic. There is a new model called the Ninja Combi. Only airfryer I know that you can put liquid in and steam/boil and airfry at the same time
After years of convincing myself I don't need an air fryer I took the bullet and brought one on black Friday. I was looking at this model but still in denial I didn't want to spend a lot of money. So I went for the Tower air fryer cooker 11L. What sold me on the Tower was the rotisserie with the frying basket. I have been converted to air frying. Thank you for doing this review as seen so many negative comments about the Halo. I was worried about those handles and glasses I chose the Tower but I will wait for the breville to fix the handles out as I want this kind of air fryer
Strangely enough, even though Breville is a very common brand in Australia, to the point where it's common for a sealed toasted sandwich to be called a "Breville" in some households, this exact same air frier has been released under the Sunbeam brand for us lot in the land of the down under, selling at around $240 Australian dollars at most of our local appliance retailers.
Breville & breville UK are not the same company, in the UK the name has been licensed. Breville uses the brand name sage here. Breville UK has the reputation for being cheap and cheerful/ basic, borderline tat depending on the item Vs sage being expensive, quality, boogie af with collaborations with people like Heston Blumenthal. They are very much two very different ends of the spectrum brand wise here.
I have this exact model myself and while yes I guess it does feel cheap, I personally love it my previous one (different manufacturer) was good but it didn't have a dual cooking thing. I agree it does feel a smidge cheap but I haven't had any issues with under cooking if anything to me I'm tending to go little under the time conversion recommendations as some things were over cooking. I agree on the handle thing I tend to have to use oven gloves or similar for the trays the handle seems only to be designed for the bucket and for me sometimes the timer buttons seem to either be too sensitive and reduce the timer super quickly or the opposite and need a couple of presses. Overall though I'm pretty happy with it.
Thanks for watching! Let me know in the comments if you think this air fryer is the perfect one, or if there’s another you swear by.

Thanks Barry, the wife and I are looking for an air fryer and all the videos you have done have given us as lot of good information
Happy Christmas! Great and informative video. Could the bottom tray store be good as a plate warmer?
Got this, love it, best one I've had/ used, cook times are really good. I'd say about 30% quicker than an oven.
I have a black and decker air fryer that I use as my primary oven. It's great as an oven, toaster, air fryer, broiler etc :)
When he said it was cheap, and the door opened up, 😂😂😂! Best/Worst timing ever!
We have a Breville Smart Oven (a bit different than this one) and we love it. Since we only have one oven for baking we use it as a second oven all the time. I don't know why I never thought to bake whole potatoes in there - I'm gonna try that soon!!
The HYSapientia 22L Air Fryer does all of that but it has a Rotisserie and dehydrator mode as well. I know because I've got one! I paid £149 on offer.
After going through several we landed on the Emril air fryer oven and love it
It's also £129.99 at Currys, which is like 10 minutes from me and theres no risk of the Amazon delivery driver leaving it on my doorstep so someone can steal it! Quite tempted, plus better insurance and warranty. EDIT: Argos has it for that price too with a two year warranty.
Thanks for sharing your experience with this air fryer 👍Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family 🎅🎄🎁🥳🎉🤗
It's a very interesting and clever design - my only concern about it is whether the air fry function is truly air frying (as in, high heating element, strong fans, and exhausting moist air out)
I've seen many toaster ovens claim to be air fryers but in actuality they just slapped on a weak fan for a convection mode and pretended that it's air frying.
I saw an advert yesterday for a a device that is an air fryer and a dehydrator along with 2 other things. Looked so cool but expensive.
Oh cool, any idea what brand it is?
@@mrbarrylewis It's the Ninja
Foodi MAX
I've just brought a salter airfryer for £80 with the removable divider it's one drawer has the clear viewing panel in the door and the sync function
I've got a similar one to this from Tower. You can't remove the central divider and it doesn't have the buckets, but the functionality is pretty much the same.
Air-Frying a can of beans is probably the most British thing I've ever seen.
for me a big thing was it having a rotisserie. if your going to make a lot of fries and the like, then a rotisserie basket is a must. so i got one (Nuwave Brio 15.5Qt Air Fryer Rotisserie Oven, X-Large Family Size). its perfect for everything i need, i can put a whole chicken on the rotisserie. its also 15.5qt 1800w
I got the Instant Vortex plus for £40 on sale last year and honestly its fantastic (has a window and 6 in 1 features. Feels half decent in terms of build too)
They have a 2 sections version too which is on sale
I really do find that airfryers like this have made my oven redundant unless i'm cooking for a large group, I even find the finish for things such as chicken and fish is much better in an air fryer.
One thing it has excellent comic timing youg Barry!😀😀 Merry Christmas to the girls and mrs B !
Sync button Barry. The 2nd will start when the first/longer timer hits it
Nvm you figured it out 2 minutes later!
looks perfect for doing some chicken fajitas. seasoned chicken thighs in the top tray, peppers and onions in the bottom catching all the chicken juices.
You can also just hold in the + button instead of pressing it over and over
The chicken and potatoes trick I first saw Jamie Oliver do that many years ago with roast potatoes. One of my favourite ways to have roast potatoes ❤
Hi Barry this is the air fryer I told you about months ago it’s the same as we have at home we now don’t own an oven it’s brilliant only thing is have noticed you are using the handle upside down just letting you know it’s more sturdy is you have it the right way up 🤣🤣 hope you and family have a great Christmas
if you hold the button down, will the timer advance faster??
Casori are the best imho. Seems over thought out this one. I have a big basket £50 casori and better off buying 2 of these if you want dual cooking. Casori also does the dual stuff for similar/cheaper price. But in my £50 one, you can crisp a whole chicken without the need for turning. It has well thought out vents in the side of the basket that channel the hot air underneath. Dont need to shake fries either.
Omg, this was so cool to watch. Can’t wait for more.
This looks brilliant mate! 👍👍
Happy Christmas Barry 🌲
Sometimes yes, sometimes no...
I completely get what you mean, but sometimes they get the new stuff right and it's freaking awesome!
Agree, I just had to replace my washer and dryer I had a hard time finding a set that didn't have a computer.
Exactly! Kinda like when cars went from manual windows to electric. When the wiring messed up, you were just stuck in a hot car. Getting it fixed was pricey. But if the manual windows messed up you could fix yourself. 🤷♀️
@@lenalyles2712then you probably never got one they all have a computer of sorts
The comedic timing on that door is impeccable
Sage is high end Breville in the UK. Only their budget line come under the actual Breville name. The Sage version is £500
My tefal airfryer is like a mini oven, has a glass window and works brilliantly!
Nice product! Merry Christmas Barry Lewis family🦌🎄🎀🎅
I’m in Australia and I just googled it. It’s a sunbeam machine here. So I think it’s just a re-badged machine.
I am very tempted Barry. Why are you doing this to me?? 😂😂😂 Merry Christmas 🎄🎄
Hate to be picky but £129.99 is £130 not £120 that you kept saying 😉 I did enjoy the video though, very versatile machine. 👍
I have a different Brevel airfyer/oven. I haven’t used my real oven in over 2 years!! It is literally pan storage.
Love your Air fryer videos Barry, please keep them coming.
What's a ginger one?
So glad you reviewed this, been eyeing it for the last month! Deffo gonna get it now! Branston beans though? I'm so disappointed in you lol.
Seeing the chicken cooking reminded me of a magician's assistant in the 'saw a lady in half' trick and now I can't stop laughing! 😂
You'd probably need some extra moisture to replace the chicken juices, but the paprika paste can work on Quorn filet pieces as well for Phoebe. 😊
As for the air fryer, I think I'll stick with my Ginger.
You should change the title of this video to "Man finds the perfect air fryer and disowns his oven"
It is better ones out there for your money participate to clunky a bit cheap material I would like a test more air fryers keep up good content😊😊 like this one
merry christmas barry lewis and the whole family and the doggy 😃😃😀
I have this. You’re using the handles upside down. I tried it the way you used them and they don’t feel sturdy 😅
Can you please review the Toshiba Air fryer and microwave combo
I find the mesh trays hard to clean sometimes
Don't call it a Bucket one, it's Bouquet 🤣🤣😉 (got that from the great Keeping Up Appearances TV series)
I have a Tower Vortx Vizion T17151 Air Fryer
It's cheaper than this model, i's more powerful, you just get baskets, but different modes, with match and sync for flexibility and cooking things on time time, and it has lights and windows to see inside the air fryer whilst the food cooks
I love it!
Can you review the TOWER Air Fryer? with the rotisserie I have enjoyed using the air fryer sometimes
The second you opened those doors and it didn't have intergrated external handles I immediately decided I dont want it.
I have the sunbeam version of this and it is great for cooking pizzas and sausages in
One thing I would like to know about this air fryer in particular is that it's not two separate chambers due to the dividing wall...
A dual heater with elements on top and bottom is still the best, ninja has one.
I like the air fryer my Mum has its similar to this TOWER Vortx T17038 Air Fryer Oven
Try "Ufesa Magnum Airfryer 23 L" next? im sure they will sponsor you one if you ask to review one
