Silver Chariot armor takeoff super has appeared in the manga, that ended in 1992, so before the publishing year of this game. HFTF came later, so technically his theme is "stolen", tho

I just finished redoing his primary weapon, it is a gun-blade, I was influenced by my Gunbreaker on Final Fantasy XIV.. In the original game enemies were weak to certain elements and we did make the game very challenging. He names the weapon "Violent Grace". His secondary weapon is called an Infinite Frequency Manipulator, or IFM. A weapon that does harmonic attacks, though his fashioned as a guitar, since he is also the lead vocalist/guitarist of his metal band, we actually wrote music for him. His IFM is called "Violent Resonance".

@@GrahamChapman LOL the squid is an inside joke, but we ended up coming up with a little game for him 🤣 Varg was left on Earth, (amongst other things) after the Zayin invasion. When he befriends the main character, he calls him Varg, after the German metal band.. Main character is quite obsessed with metal music, when we were kids we just called him "wolf" lol, but when giving him a name we definitely did not want to call him Fenrir. Varg is also inspired by the Fylgja of Norse myth and will also hang around Einar's body. This also worked for the game, when Einar would climb or suspend himself in air briefly. He actually views Varg as his brother, and he is also the bassist in the band, when he takes a more humanoid form. Yeah I did enjoy FFXV, but was disappointed in how that game was treated. As a kid Roberto Ferrari, was one of my influences. He moved to Japan to work at Square as an artist, and actually helped design the characters to XV, along with Nomura I liked him too growing up, along with Joe Madueria. Oh the Gun-blade thing I'm not worried about. My friend and I used to draw all types of them in school way back in the day. When we learned Gunbreaker was coming to XIV, we started drawing them, to put in the contest whenever they'd have it. But he ended up passing away, which also made me leave the project alone for a bit, but I was greatly encouraged to get back to it, after I got out of the hospital last summer. I took the design he did, and mixed it with mine. We had called the weapon type a ballistic blade, but we made a lance and axe that also have firearm capabilities. Violent Grace is also inspired by the sword Angurvadal, and has the remnants of the force that created the star it was made from within. It also worked for the original game, since we wanted both sword and gun-play, it was a Metroidvania style game we did in high school. BlazBlue I have never played, my cousin always talked about it! My brother and I were huge fans of Guilty Gear and we joked how Einar looked as if he should be a secret character in the game or so.. When I get over my little sinus infection, we'll be redesigning his ship.

Considering the fact that the main character's name was "Ragna" (as in, Ragnarok) and the main bad guy was an unholy amalgamation based on Jormungandr, Fenrir, Loki, Hermes, Lucifer, Satan, Iblis and Susanoo at his absolute worst, yyyeah... like, I used to think that Kefka Palazzo and Lucia Blight were the worst monsters you could possibly create in a work of fiction, but hahahah I was wrong... Capcom was at its alltime high in music creativity during this era, this zeros theme in mmx4, pocket fighter, rival schools 1, holy smokes.......in the vs series marvel vs capcom one had the best tracks, none of the other vs series came close, just like tekken 3s soundtrack....man do I know my music.

Let's see Raiden has HF weaponry which can cut anything EVEN ADAMANTIUM so just put Raiden with his other weapons A.K.A the whip/staff/pole arm, the sai that stuns when fully charged, and the scissor blades. Not even Raiden with all his weapons can handle Hiryu mainly because all he needs is Cypher and Ouroborous and Legion those and well Hiryu has far better experience and more skills to get in and out of battle like the teleport, sickle to climb walls, and also the wall jump, So in other words Raiden would easily lose the fight although he would put up one, Just we need to think about Raidens Ripper mode what does Hiryu have against that if Raiden gets in close and somehow loses the sword?

Strider is MvC1's "Magneto". I mean, if MvC1's Strider was able to perform an air attack right after teleporting (like he is able to do in MvC2), there would be no point in playing any other character in MvC1. Just spam the helper (usually Lou, Aurthur or Psylocke), Ouroboros, and corner-trap the opponent by teleporting behind to perform a cross-up...... and repeat. And even if they manage to block, this does considerable chip damage.

I mean, squeezed in between the references and allusions to Norse, Hellenistic, Abrahamic and Shinto mythology; the alchemy and quantum physics-based science and magic; as well as the largely original lore and world-building... yeah, it was pretty intense getting through that game series, even though I got the games as they were being released... it was a pretty damn dark series, too... I mean, Guilty Gear isn't exactly a story about people dancing through life upon a bed of rose petals, but BlazBlue was consistently far bleaker than Guilty Gear souped up on Norse mythology. Considering the fact that the main character's name was "Ragna" (as in, Ragnarok) and the main bad guy was an unholy amalgamation based on Jormungandr, Fenrir, Loki, Hermes, Lucifer, Satan, Iblis and Susanoo at his absolute worst, yyyeah... like, I used to think that Kefka Palazzo and Lucia Blight were the worst monsters you could possibly create in a work of fiction, but hahahah I was wrong...

Capcom was at its alltime high in music creativity during this era, this zeros theme in mmx4, pocket fighter, rival schools 1, holy smokes.......in the vs series marvel vs capcom one had the best tracks, none of the other vs series came close, just like tekken 3s soundtrack....man do I know my music.

Let's see Raiden has HF weaponry which can cut anything EVEN ADAMANTIUM so just put Raiden with his other weapons A.K.A the whip/staff/pole arm, the sai that stuns when fully charged, and the scissor blades.
Not even Raiden with all his weapons can handle Hiryu mainly because all he needs is Cypher and Ouroborous and Legion those and well Hiryu has far better experience and more skills to get in and out of battle like the teleport, sickle to climb walls, and also the wall jump, So in other words Raiden would easily lose the fight although he would put up one, Just we need to think about Raidens Ripper mode what does Hiryu have against that if Raiden gets in close and somehow loses the sword?

Strider is MvC1's "Magneto". I mean, if MvC1's Strider was able to perform an air attack right after teleporting (like he is able to do in MvC2), there would be no point in playing any other character in MvC1. Just spam the helper (usually Lou, Aurthur or Psylocke), Ouroboros, and corner-trap the opponent by teleporting behind to perform a cross-up...... and repeat. And even if they manage to block, this does considerable chip damage.
You should play UMvC3 online against Wolverine or Vergil for one day and try to block the first thing they try to do to mess up your guard
