The puma lives in America and their natural environment is the forest and rocky areas. In Chile it is found along the Cordillera of the Andes. In central Chile specimens are rarely seen in the Cordillera de la Costa.
Puma is a protected species in Chile, my beautiful country!!

@t2300 w001200 no pumas don't have a preference to dry climates. Pumas are very adaptable and thrive in cold snowy habitats, dry arid habitats, dense forest habitats (like tigers), alpine mountain habitats, swampy regions, etc as long as there is abundant prey base.
