Ugh! So sorry that happened to you! I broke my arm 2 years ago and felt the same way right after it happened (sweaty and faint - must be shock). I’ve made a complete recovery. Was able to do everything I could do before the break after less than a year so hopefully you’ll have success too!
Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you have a speedy recovery and enjoy your holiday. Humans are very resilient and it’s amazing what you can do when you have to. I had RSI in my right hand and arm 30 years ago and had to learn to do most things with my left. It seems funny but the only thing I could never master was buttering bread. All these years later I still use the computer mouse with my left hand and I can still write with both hands.
Omg, Jennifer, I'm so very very sorry you've broken your arm and been in so much pain and discomfort 😢. Just the description of much pain you've suffered through, I'm shocked. And your right arm too. Feel better every day and take it easy. 🌷
Oh Jen. I am so sorry to hear that you broke your elbow, I can’t imagine how painful that must be! Your trip to Scotland sounds amazing! I love Scotland and England. Lovely to catch up with you today. Feel better soon!! 🥰
Great seeing you moving your arm. Just be careful driving. Lovely to see a get ready with me. It's been a while and I love your recommendations. I use the merit blush too. It's the perfect colour.. Cannot wait to see the LV. Xxx
Listening to you tell your story reminded me so much of the time I broke my arm. I fell out of my Tahoe. The heel of my shoe got caught in the cuff of my pants leg and of course I used my hands to break the fall. Everything you just explained was exactly what I went through. The pain was excruciating. I hope you heal well!
Thank you! Yes, Im so glad he was with me and that I didn't hurt my leg/foot/ankle instead. That would have been much worse with the upcoming travel plans. (One sided hugs back) ♥️
So sorry to hear about your arm, I hope that it’s feeling much better before your travel plans come up. I received my Naghedi small tote in cashmere last week and I am obsessed- thank you! I just ordered the Rosewood color (on sale), I think that will be beautiful for fall/winter. 🌺 Karen
I'm so sorry about your arm. I hope you feel better soon. I'm always nervous walking about DS or the parks w/ the kids running everywhere. Enjoy your nice time w/ your family vacation!
I can relate. I dislocated my elbow packing for the beach a couple of years ago on April Fool’s Day. Had to learn how to use my fingers again because they wouldn’t close in a fist. It taught me that I had to learn to slow down. Hope you heal quickly and fully and enjoy your trip!
Oh my!! What a crazy thing to happen while packing for a trip, and on April Fool's Day, too!! I think I need to learn to slow down too. I have two speeds- Full Throttle and Complete Stop.
When you mentioned not wanting to cut your top, be glad you didn’t. The ER took me into the room and cut my top and bra. Problem is, I had nothing there to wear home. They let me go home wearing my pants and the hospital gown. At 1am, there aren’t too many neighbors out thankfully. 😂
Jennifer, I am so sorry that you have this injury! Bless you and your determination to remain as independent as possible while at the same time preserving a good outcome with your healing. I have done the same, and it’s a great validation to keep your motivation to recover completely. I remember being at the same Epcot restaurant a few years ago, and Disney restaurants never disappoint. Wishing you a fast, uncomplicated, and complete recovery! 💞
Oh my! I am sorry that happened to you. I can almost feel the pain! I need to have shoulder surgery and been putting it off because I didn’t know how I would function with one arm! You give me hope! Hope your vacation is wonderful! Jackie from Indiana
I’m so sorry, Jennifer! It sounds like a very painful ordeal. Prayers for a quick healing and recovery. I’ve never had a broken bone, but I know it’s so painful. When my mom broke her wrists from a fall, she was nauseous and almost passed out.
Prayers for good recovery. So sorry to hear of your pain. Unfortunately I hard to learn to iron Marin standards, hubby is a Marine and measures everything based on that lifestyle. He’s a retired US Customs officer and had to keep his uniforms neatly also. Now I steam.
Oh my goodness. I suppose if I had such a good reason to need to learn to iron with that much precision, I would have done my best! I applaud you in your efforts!
Last summer I had a fall and broke my arm close to my shoulder as well as damaged my shoulder . OMG it was the most painful thing I’ve had happen to me. So I sympathize with you and hope you feel better very day but don’t rush your recovery. I’m still doing physio and will for another 2 months. Sending you positive and healing thoughts.
I feel you. I broke my ankle 8-19-23 on a Viking cruise in France. I tripped coming out of the bathroom. Went to emergency in Bordeaux and the cute Doctor told me I had to get home because I needed surgery. It was a tri malleor fracture common in older women. Ouch! Surgery on 9-7-23. Couldn’t put any weight on the ankle, lousy on crutches so I would hop to and from my wheelchair. Had to do sponge baths and my family would come over twice a week to wash my hair in the kitchen sink. My husband did everything for me. Good thing Jim is retired to help you. Heal fast. God bless.
Oh my goodness! That's quite a story! I'm so sorry that happened to you and while on vacation, no less. Very happy you had such awesome help with your recovery..
Oh Jennifer…I was on the edge of my seat listening to you. At least it happened at Epcot, and not on your front porch… makes a better story… LOL. All your videos on Disney/Orlando bring back so many memories! Here’s to healing as quickly as possible. 💖
Thank you Teri! Yes, I suppose happening at Epcot does sound better than many other boring places it could have happened. And it sure beats falling off a log 😆
I’m so sorry you have had such a horrible injury, any fracture is extremely painful & it really can knock your confidence when you are out amongst other people! Wishing you well in your recovery, keep it moving, although it is hard. I’m excited to know where you are visiting in Scotland, I live right in the middle of the country & it is a beautiful place to stay. Hope you get some lovely weather when you are here 🏴
Thank you! I am doing my best to not over do anything so i can heal properly. Basically, we will be flying in to Edinburgh, then to Stirling Castle area, Glascow, west to Dunans Castle, up to Inverness area, then toward Aberdeen area, Balmoral Castle, back to Edinburgh for a couple days, then down to Durham, England and back to Edinburgh. We are very excited and hoping for nice weather but expecting some rain.
That’s quite an itinerary, you will certainly see some bonnie scenery on your travels! I will keep everything crossed for you that the weather is kind to you, everything looks better in the sunshine. I live about 30 minutes from Stirling, there are some lovely villages & towns to visit around the area. Have a wonderful trip 🏴
Hi Jennifer great video I’m glad you weren’t hurt anymore than you were it’s not as if it wasn’t bad enough but I always think it could’ve been far worse I hope it heals up correctly and you don’t have to go through anymore pain than you already have sending love and healing vibes 🙏 you feel better soon 💚💚💚💚
I'm very familiar with that exact pain! I broke my elbow on a bike ride 12 days before biking 500 miles across Iowa in late July. It was so so painful, and so so difficult to do ANYTHING. My husband is an ICU doc and this was a little after the worst part of Covid, so he was busy to say the least, couldn't help me shower, etc - they needed him more there than I did at home... long story short, I rode across Iowa for 7 days in the July heat with a broken elbow! It was awful! 🤪
So sorry you were hurt. I can only imagine that pain. You have a great attitude about it, though. Here’s to healing very fast and having a great time in Scotland!
Hi Jennifer! So sorry you are going through this but they say having to use your non-dominant hand is good for the brain, so that’s a positive spin 🤷♀️ Love your attitude and sense of humor about falling off a log 😂 In my youth I too had a compound fracture on my arm from a dance floor fall and used the old “break”dancing humor when asked how it happened. Stay positive and wishing you a speedy recovery 💙
I'm sorry that happened to you. A few months ago my husband suffered an elbow break when he fell when the dog unexpectedly pulled hard on the leash. They just put a sling on him because they didn't want the elbow to freeze up. It's so annoying when it's your dominant arm. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
I'm so glad you are doing okay and healing. That is so scary to take a fall. I fell a couple of years ago and it is so much worse now at 60 years old than when I was younger.
Thank you! That is so true. Jim said it's no wonder "old people start walking like old people"! They need to be extra careful of every step. I'm now in that "old people" category, so I will need to remember that!
Awe Jen! I am so sorry to hear about your fall and injury! Hoping that you are in less pain with more mobility each day! It’s amazing how much medical care has changed…my father broke his elbow as a young boy and was in a cast over a year! Thank goodness your cast is flexible and not as restrictive as casts of the past! I think you are doing great and your makeup application looks fantastic! Do exactly as the Drs say so your trip to Scotland will be easier on you! Can’t wait to see the repaired Pochette Metis…!!!💖🥰🎉👜
Oh my gosh! Over a year? It must have been a horrible break. I hope he had good use of his elbow once he was out of the cast. I'm super excited to see how my bag looks, too!
Hope you heal quickly! Good thing Jim was with you. I took a wrong step carrying laundry down the stairs this morning and bent back my big toe. Now it's all purple. It's so easily done..right. Enjoy your trip to Scotland.
Oh Jennifer...this is awful! I feel so badly for you. This is my worst nightmare (to break a bone). I have extremely weak ankles and seem to fall flat on my face about 3-4 times a year. I am amazed that I haven't broken anything, but the number of fractures I have on my ankles make me wonder how I can still stand upright! I wish you a super-speedy recovery and we are all thinking of you xx
Thank you! Have you had a bone density test done? I was told to do that when I turned 50 (as a normal thing people are supposed to do at that age, I guess) and have put it off.... I think I should get that checked out to make sure I'm going in to my "older" years with bones that might not break as easily. I have been taking daily calcium supplements for many, many years and eat some dairy and lots of leafy greens, but maybe that's not enough. Keep doing your best to stay upright! xxx
Quite the story. Glad you are on the mend. How kind of you to reassure the young boy. Take care and keep that elbow safe from further harm. You look great!
Hope that your arm heals quickly. I broke my collarbone years ago, very painful. Have you tried Merit Flush Balm in Fox? It's beautiful. Dr. Dray showed this on her channel so I trued it.

@@JustJennifer Knowledge is power. I've had mine and it definitely shows osteopenia so there has been some bone loss for me and it seems pretty common as we age. Take care.
Sorry to hear this, hope you're doing better soon. I have a nonremovable foot cast currently with chunky top boot and hate it - can't move, stuck in the house for too long. Wish it had been my arm instead.
Oh no! I'm so sorry you are going through that. One of the first things I said when it happened was that I was so glad it wasn't my leg/foot/ankle. I hope you don't have too much longer in the boot. I'll be thinking of you!
Sorry you broke your elbow. Speedy recovery! MY eyes change color too with what I’m wearing, same blue to green. Never had ophthalmologist tell me my true color though🤣🤣
Thank you! Yes, I thought it was interesting that my opthamologist put my eye color in my chart. Maybe the others I've had did that too, but they didn't mention it? I once had a dermatologist announce that I had "true Irish skin". I guess that goes with the green eyes. Ha!
Jen, so sorry to hear about your arm. Hope you recover soon and enjoy your upcoming trip. One thing I'd like to suggest when you come back from vacation is to ask your Dr. to order a dexa scan of your bones. I had one 2 years ago and my Dr. immediately put me on medication. I'm sure you are fine but just to be on the safe side. Can't wait to see the "new" LV Pochette Metis!
Awe, you poor thing. I’m praying that you heal quickly. You’re one tough cookie! Maybe that’s because you lived during the “Stone Age.” 😂 Thank you for doing a much missed GRWM. I like your Face for the Day. LOL *Can’t wait for your LV bag update. Take care, ~Christina 🤗
So sorry that happened to you. Wishing you a complete pain free recovery.
I am so sorry, the pain is something I remember, so awful!
Please do a video where you strictly do a begining skincare products by name. Then makeup products by name.
Oof, I'm so sorry that happened, what a pain (literally)! I know this was two weeks ago but hopefully you've had a miraculous recovery by this point!

Thank you Gloria. My doctor told me to get a bone density scan when I turned 50, and I have been putting it off. I will definitely get that done now!
Oh gosh Jennifer what a freak accident! Hope you’re healing well!
Hope you fel beter soon! 🌼
Sorry to hear about your fall!
Thank you!
Heal quickly ❤
Awe, you poor thing. I’m praying that you heal quickly. You’re one tough cookie! Maybe that’s because you lived during the “Stone Age.” 😂 Thank you for doing a much missed GRWM. I like your Face for the Day. LOL *Can’t wait for your LV bag update. Take care, ~Christina 🤗

Hello Taylor! Yes, it was a crazy situation, but my arm is healed and fine now!
Falling over really is traumatic, i hate it, how awful...
It really is! It's amazing how shocked one feels after a fall...wondering for a moment how you got down there and assessing what might be damaged.
Sorry about your elbow. Please remember not to over use your elbow so it can heal properly!
Thank you! Yes, that will be my struggle. I tend to overdo everything and push my limits. This is hard.
I winced the whole story😩
