@@DiegoXMV Hahaha! I didn’t give the Stuart enough credit. It performed extremely well in close combat situation’s within the center town. I was just salty from taking a couple unnecessary infantry losses haha

@@SargeGG not gonna lie, this game made me feel like: "i want to play this". Hopefully relic wouldnt mess things up and i might treat myself with coh3 when christmas season hits.
@@Roeper437 That’s great to hear Roeper, glad you’re enjoying the content. Christmas should be a great time to get the game, as there will be even more updates and polish. If Relic keeps up this positive momentum, I think the game will be in a great state. Are you currently playing CoH2?
@@SargeGG yeah sure i play coh2, sometimes however its not pleasure because coh2 community is the worst i ever encountered in mp games.

Great game and very engaging gameplay, Sarge! Really loving the new map for some epic fights. As a sidenote, in this match you mentioning not wanting to skip the med tent, but you had a dingo. One possible strat is to skip the med tent and send the dingo back to base to heal troops with its healing ability (in the 'Z' gridkey). This also works with the DAK 250 halftrack, so it's a nice idea to keep in mind if you want to speed up teching. :)
Thanks loopiefree, glad you enjoyed the match and I agree - really enjoying Benghazi. That’s actually a great point regarding the med tech. I often skip it in the early game to save on fuel for a fast tech, but the dingo provides the healing I need to keep my infantry healthy. I’ll start to incorporate this with the British and DAK. I think it will help a lot, until I eventually grab the MedStation in the mid game.
Sad to see that the enemy started killing each other when you started to turn the tide in your favor
Yeah, you’re right, they started to fall apart pretty quickly it seemed.
New map looks tits. Makes us 1v1 boys and girls jelly. LOL. Great coverage. Did you suffer any performance issues? New patch seems two have brought on some FPS drops the new bombardment are really NICE.
Haha thanks Terp! This map is awesome, really enjoying it! Interested to play in the northern position as well. In terms of performance, there’s quite a bit of drops and lag that I noticed. But hopefully a hot fix soon that will take care of that.
this map with incendiary bombing run and canadian shock troopers is really fun. its much more close combat and you can actually flank and use the fog of war to your advantage more than other maps. it brought back the feeling of fighting in big cities in coh 2. and the english artillery has really stepped up finally to the intensity of coh 2, its like an orchestra when they drop now.
ps. dont forget to use alt to switch vision i prefer to drag down to see as far as i can/ see my soldiers go from down to up on the map instead of side to side.
@@eddierodriguez8463 Hey Eddie, well said and I totally agree. The new map feels great and makes for a very tactical gameplay. I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s amazing how much good map design improves the game.
In terms of the camera angle, I’m not much of a rotator but I know a lot of people like it. Helpinghans is a big advocate of that camera perspective, but I just can’t get used to it.
8:30 I wonder if it is worth practicing to directly select units now that they've implemented the bigger selection boxes. It will help prevent annoying little misplays like drag selecting two units.
Yeah exactly, I agree Ben! There is a much better practice and habit. I didn’t realize that selecting both a vehicle and infantry unit will still prioritize the vehicle. So in that scenario, I could technically reverse but not retreat when hitting R. It could also have just been the order of how I selected the units, but I’m going to play test that a little bit to confirm. Regardless, I think your suggestion is a good one. A costly Misplay by me :(
That panzer 4 push had me sweating is the 17 pounder worth it?
Yeah, that was a pretty tense moment! The Axis had some nice pushes. The 17 pounder did get a nice range buff. If you combine that with good recon for vision, it can be really strong. It’s very hard to use, and that’s why it’s not very popular, but I find it very helpful in large team games. It’s important to keep in mind that there is a current bug that doesn’t allow you to build the 17 pounder, but that should be fixed very soon.
Remember to up gun your Crusaders to III's!

Bit of a waste on that first naval barrage but man does it look good now. Very good plays with that Stuart tho. Don't know if you noticed but its smoke canister ability is bugged rn and you can basically spam it for free, no cooldown XD
That was the most annoying part of the game for me. The naval bombardments were weak haha. But yeah, I didn’t realize it until later in the day. That’s a ridiculously strong bug, to be honest. I’m loving the new pathing and how much easier it is to maneuver through towns like that.
I have been working up the courage to play against real players. Maybe if I powered through those first matches, I would get my rank and enjoy fighting similar skilled players instead of gods
Hey nic, I think that’s a great idea. The matchmaking right now isn’t optimal, so you’re gonna run into some tough opponents in your first 10-15 matches, until your rank settles as you mentioned. I really want to encourage you to enjoy the ladder experience, both wins and losses, and do your best to learn something from every match. RTS games are the hardest multiplayer games for a reason, so don’t get too hard on yourself as a new player. Keep practicing and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I’ll do my best to respond and am more than happy to help!
@@SargeGG I had a bad first experience is the reason. I was playing with this nice group in Coop and they decide to play automatch. I didn't wanted to but the game loaded too fast. I didn't want to leave to give these guys a disavantage. But then I saw the map is Gazala, a map I can't quite grasp and they had multiple wehrmacht players who did what wehrmacht players do. We were losing hard and that didn't help my anxiety riddled self, not knowing what to do
@@legendairenic6247 Yeah, that’s going to happen as a new player during live multiplayer matches. It would’ve been helpful to have a little more time to prepare but it seems like you were thrown into the match really quick.
Do you have a main faction that you prefer to play?
I just got the game yesterday and played a couple of AI skirmish games to learn the ropes and then 4 matches against players. It was teams and we won 3 out of 4. What really impresses me are the voicelines for the units, particularly the British. Makes it really immersive when everyone is shouting

But yeah, the voice lines and personality of every unit is really unique for a strategy game. Everything from the audio to graphics and tactical gameplay makes this one of my favorite games of all time.
So far, the game needs a balance, the allies are very strong, especially at the beginning, and the height system is very bad. I think the game is not salvageable.😢😢😢
Allies do feel stronger right now and especially the USF. Rifleman and commandos are extremely strong. With that said, it’s still very early.

Too bad the update is only on PC
Yeah, I’m hoping it comes to console soon! It would be a huge improvement for the player base.
