Yes, The pursuit of stoicism has a result of calmness, However It is not stoicism that makes you feel or do anything. It is within yourself that you find calmness by understanding the truth of stoicism.

Staying calm in uncertain times through five virtues:
First virtue: Acceptance - Embrace reality and accept your current situation to find calmness.
Second virtue: Mindfulness - Focus on the present moment and your actions to eliminate anxiety about the past or future.
Third virtue: Discrimination - Differentiate between what you can control (your actions) and what you can't (others' reactions).
Fourth virtue: Judgment - Value virtues like justice and self-control over external factors like wealth or fame for inner calmness.
Fifth virtue: Adaptability - Embrace change as natural and necessary for growth and calmness in life.

Extremely important and relevant philosophy! Especially nowadays - in the peak of antidepressants and suicide. Marcus Aurelius lived almost two thousand years ago but his message is timeless and could easily be the light at the end of the tunnel for many people today. Great and really important video as usual!

Rather than thinking of accepting change as an imperative, i.e. "You HAVE to accept change, or ELSE!", I prefer to think about it from a different angle.
The only thing that is certain is change. But change implies both for the better and for the worse. So, whenever I am in an unfavourable situation, I simply think, 'this is unpleasant, but it is temporary, things can change', and then I put as much effort as I can to allow the change to happen.

The best thing to do is get a crappy little job that you feel like you might enjoy doing. They’re easy to get. Plus the money makes you feel secure during the search, which may be long. Getting hired will give you hope and reassurance that you’re valuable and hirable. Socializing with customers will give you practice interacting with strangers that you’ll need in an interview. And, if you don’t get the job, it’s no big deal and is good practice for your real job interviews. Do zoom interviews during your lunch period. Most of all, have fun at your temp job and enjoy the process. Employers will sense your satisfaction and that makes you hirable. Employers don’t want desperate employees.

    Summary
    - The first virtue is the acceptance of things as they are and not denying reality.
    - Accepting the present is the first step towards changing the future.
    - The second virtue is mindfulness, being present and aware of the current situation.
    - Focusing on the present moment and what you are working on is the most productive use of your time.
    of your time.
    - Discrimination means being able to distinguish between the things that are in your control and the things that are not.
    - Your actions and self-expression are within your control, but the world's reactions are not. - Being a good person is always within our control and brings peace of mind.
    - Adaptability is essential as change is natural and necessary.
    - Standing still and resisting change leads to being left behind.

Marcus Aurelius was wrong. It is a mistake to think in terms of “good” and “evil/bad”. Morals change over time, distance, and species. If he really wanted to focus on himself with discrimination, judgment, and acceptance, why try to manipulate the world around you to conform to your moral code?

Kindergarten kid also can tell that same old story in perfect but meaning of truth doesn't need TIME MACHINE to discover. Only use logic what & how GOD should be. Very week definition of GOD if need that judgement day . That's first test from GOD to see how human used their sophisticated brain that developed by hard work from 1st batch humankind.
( No name or grave) only can be remembered by (Adam Eve) story
