This is why my husband doesn't understand why I actually enjoy cleaning the house and the yard, why I don't like spending money unnecessarily, and why I enjoy learning everything I can. I feel productive and happy without being what you say is "slavish".
He thinks woman are supposed to be like his mother and sister and most women he has known: spending money needlessly for beauty of themselves and their homes instead of understand that simply eating healthy, drinking water, etc can keep one beautiful and healthy without spending too much money and you can make things for your home or you don't have worry so much about material things to make a home "beautiful". You don't need a lot in life to be happy.

Laziness can destroy you, but so can fanatical hard work. Nietzsche himself is a prime example of bad outcomes. The man suffered from disabling chronic migraines, yet ignored doctor's orders to limit his time looking at small text and labored over his desk for untold hours until his body revolted and he was left bedridden. Once the illness would pass he would begin again. He was not professionally successful. The cycle repeated until his mind finally broke in Turin. His final insanity is believed to have been caused by syphilis, but undoubtedly was accelerated by the extreme stress under which he constantly labored.
I too have at times experienced personal burnout, chronic illness, and loss of social life as a result of extreme work ethics. This, ironically, reduced my access to the opportunities I was pursuing, as I was too exhausted and overstretched to seize the day when the day finally came.
Seek a middle way. Work hard when the time comes. Allow yourself to relax and receptively absorb your necessary when it is not necessary to kill yourself with work. Yes, follow your interests and find a way to make them useful to others and gainful to yourself-but sometimes it really is ok to simply be.

I spent my entire life preparing for winter when it was summer. As winter came closer, I became little depressed because I wasn’t living. All I did was preparing for winter which is future and all we do is live in the present moment. There’s no tomorrow. Everyday is today. Caught up in dilemma, I dread both ant and grasshoppers choice. So I live none. Then nihilism kicks in, just like it was waiting for me to finally give in. To live a meaningful life. That’s the only way out of nihilism. That means you have to fight comfort, embrace discomfort, being in the moment also optimistic about future. That’s the answer I’ve got for now.

Its nice to have some comforts like warmth, a varied diet or just food to eat, a non abusive environment... to be productive in an environment so uncomfortable is hell.
For example, being cold and uncomfortable, and then putting energy towards something knowing there is a big chance you can be warm afterwards gives reward... but to put energy towards things that dont put relief on the energy draining uncomfortableness is enough for someone to not do the action or expend the energy at all, hope is lost. Depression sets in and everyone tells the person they are lazy, but they dont see the torment of the pain of hunger, pain of cold, etc.

I think this goal led him to an understanding of many fields such anatomy and mechanics, but I think all of it was a more singular pursuit than it is probably given credit for
Architecture, engineering, painting, can all be viewed as sub-categories of a certain kind of art.

I think another reason for laziness is low confidence. We are often beat down by the negativity of others and progress of so called “masters” that we think “oh what’s the point? They already did this idea so that’s copying/they must be better and i can’t match their level…” social pressures cause us to overthink what we should say and throw ourselves away just to avoid being picked on. For me, being authentic means you’re brave, you don’t care on how many admirers call you the greatest human being, you’ll realize no one is the super greatest. Maybe being average is yourself…

I have been a work horse for decades. So many of my friends have passed and now
all I have is my work and my stuff. Now I realize I should have had work life balance. People
Enjoy life! I regret not spending time with my family and my friends. I regret
working 12 hour shifts every day, no days off. Now I am just working everyday until my time is up too.

Wow, this video has 😮 I'm speechless. Wow, I've known this my whole life, but oh my Lord. I could feel my soul right now. I watched more of the video. I had to pause the video for a moment go back to it. These is so wild. I was just talking to my five year old son. I was trying to learn more about him. Boring, was the word. My mind was stuck on the word, "boring". Boring gave me more visions. Like, 🤔 when a person learns a new skill, craft, trade, etc. As time pass the parson becomes better and better. So good the person knows everything about the skill, etc. In many cases people become bored with the skill and lose interest. I believe during the practice process something wasn't happening properly. Naturally a yig yang effects should have happened that creates something new for the person and the of the world. A good yang yang. A good yang yang is like the color purple. Mixing red (1) and(+) blue(1) together(=) makes something different(2).

Too often Business Plans are not adequately taking everything into consideration.
There is often a tendency to exploit a situation, exploit people, and exploit natural resources.
Everyone deserves concerns for necessities as well as health or safety hazards.

It's just so fascinating to me to learn such things that we do or see everyday in our surrounding but never acknowledge it..
Right now ,i have my summer vacation so i am just sitting at home and just wasting more than 5 hours of my time each day on tv, mobile or computer....I know it's bad for me and know it's consequences but i always fall in this trap of short term pleasure...Still, recently i have been watching your videos and my productivity has been improving..😊
However, i am a little worried as after this holiday i will have a really busy schedule and i mostly get exhausted and cant even manage time for studying each day. So, can u please help me and provide some tips on how to manage time in leisure so that it will be helpful during school days?

As a nihilist I've always been skeptical of anyone saying what a good life is or how one ought to live. At the end of the day I think it simply doesn't matter what you do or how you feel about it. This just feels like another way to cope with reality.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's bad advice if you want to feel good about your life, but what's the point of feeling good?
People always ask how to live a good life, while I've always wondered why live a good life.
I'm not trying to dismiss anything here, these are just some thoughts I've had for a long time and I'm open to discussion.
I will say life as a nihilist can be confusing and depressing (or at least it can make my depression worse when I have it), so one might wonder why I'm still sticking with it if it's not "helping me".
The thing is, I'm not really deciding to be a nihilist, it's just whatever my mind filters things through these days. Paradoxically, the fact that nothing makes sense, is what makes the most sense to me. The fact that there is no objective truth, feels to me like the closest thing to the truth.
Perhaps this is a mindtrap. I mean while those are some of my thoughts, I'm still a human with feelings, wants etc. For a long time now it feels there's been a disconnect between what I think and how I feel and actually behave. Cognitive dissonance perhaps. Because I for example don't rationally believe in objective morality, but at the same time I've always had a pretty strong conscience and would never want to hurt anyone.
I could keep going for a while, but I'll leave it at that for now.
