This video explains how to install a GTA Car Kit that enables Wireless Apple CarPlay and Wireless AndroidAuto in Porsche Macan 2014, 2015 and 2016 model years.
Radio type: PCM3.1
List of Version 2 improvements:
- Improved screen resolution/stretching
- Wireless Android Auto is now fully supported
- no need for separate microphone for Siri or Google Assistant, now works through original car microphone

Can this do screen mirroring or watch videos while driving?
@gtacarkits does this allow wireless streaming of music for CarPlay or do you still have to have the iPhone plugged in for music to be heard?
It works both wireless and plugged up

Little question, we have installed the same module in over 30 cars, last month we had one Macan 2015 that came by for installation.
After the installation the compas above the display not work anymore.
Any tips?
What if your 2015 macan has no voice control?

I installed this but the factory screen now is not aligned properly. It is shifted to the right. The carplay shows properly but its a bit annoying how it shows now.

@@donaldbillings1693 they told me to take it back out because something was probably loose. I made sure it was all tight and same issues. It’s also annoying that I have to always change the source to the correct option for the sound to play.
@@braylark03 did you make sure the ribbon cables are all the way in? Also, the main plug on the back of the radio has to be pushed in really really hard. I think all the porsche radios default start up source is FM, mine does the same thing. good luck
