Hey Mike, just subbed his channel. I love anything British, and didn’t realize there was such a thing as the Cornish language. Thanks for making me aware. Cheers.
Hi Jack, I don't think more than a handful of people who speak Cornish in their everyday lives. It's left to small groups of enthusiasts to keep it alive. Cheers Mike
Oh, btw Mike, I have recorded a respons to this competition and subscribed to the gentleman, but had to get my Hackney Diamonds baseball edition video out first 😊
That’s a wonderful album Mike. Got the same one, been wanting to get more. I think it’s great you mentioned the plight of the Cornish language. I am as you probably know a big fan of the Welsh and their culture and language. Diolch!
How does this compare to Tresor (which you featured in an earlier video, I picked it up, and just officially put in in my Top 20)? Plays well with Aldous Harding, Cate Le Bon, and Chloe Foy. Might have a hard time finding this one.
This album is just as good as Tresor, I couldn't pick a favourite out of the two. She definitely plays well with Cate Le Bon. I don't really know Chloe Foy, I'll give her a listen. Cheers Mike
Always great to have an English translation. I got so many albums in different languages which is not an issue if the music has a great beat and is easy to dance to lol
Hi Mike, thank you for this recommendation, I know very little about the Cornish language. Back in the day my wife (Frenchwoman as i am) did learn some Irish words during a school trip, which is a very special language indeed. Take care and have a lovely weekend, cheers
Cultures are fantastic, language should never be allowed to die out. I tried learning Irish, but had no aptitude for it sadly. l've a Cornish CD somewhere by someone 😂

I could enter that contest very easily. It's a bit like what I asked for in my thread.

Sounds like a fascinating album.
I don't know if I've ever heard songs in Cornish.
Yes it's a really lovely album and well worth picking up if you can find it. Cheers Mike
Cornish language? Very unusual! I remember my sister learning Welsh but don't think I've even heard Cornish.
I've not heard Cornish either apart from on Gwenno's albums. Cheers Mike

Hi Steve, the first question I ask myself when buying a record. Can I dance to it? 🤣

The Cornish language is one of the Celtic family that includes Breton. Cheers Mike

Hi Mike, I've always wished I could speak a foreign language fluently, but like you I don't seem to have the aptitude.
Australian's a different language to English right? Good luck in the contest Mike. Cheers...Ben
No we talk the same language, well almost. But those Americans...Barn burner???
@@mikevinylspiral Yeah what the blood hell is a barn burner?
Hi there Mike! This is very interesting! I am going to have a go at this one. Hope all is well.
Hi Mike, I always like a contest where you only need to find one record. Cheers Mike
