Question, what is the grey sensor at the bottom of the case feed tube (seen at around 17:18)? Thanks for this video and all others...has made the setup run smoothly for me.
Randall, as you have loaded a bunch so far with the X10, have you come across this issue? The #19 40/10mm shell plate will not allow the large swage or primer rods to pass through the shell plate. I have a ton of 10mm large pocket to load...... I will be reaching out to FA on Monday, but looking for input from the few of you that have had these a lot longer then me. The small pocket 10mm ran flawlessly after tuning the indexing per your video, and I absolutely love this press.
Loosen the locking nut on the swage rod....look at the top of it through the shell plate and spin the rod with a wrench or your fingers and see if the top of it is concentric or makes an out of round circular motion?
@@bragginrightsprecisionrelo346 It spins prefect, the slot in the shell plate is not big enough to let the large swage rod pass through. This is only an issue with large primer pocket 10mm. I did reach out to FA this morning, the wonderful lady I spoke to was emailing the development team. I have a picture of it, but not sure if I can post it here.
@bragginrightsprecisionrelo346 any info back.. I have the same plate and just got my press.. was hoping it would do both.. I wonder if their .45acp has the same issue
At about 6:00 you show your cut case for adjusting the swage and say that there are commercial versions available. Do you have a link for where to find them as I cannot find them in a search online?
Anxious to see a video loading used 308 brass to see if you have the problems i have with the case shuttle and shell plate feeding issues i am.. Thinking the shell plate is a little on the tite side for the extractor mark on the case to feed 100%., ive tried abou everything with the feeder adjustment..any ideas would be appreciated..thank you
I've noticed the same with mine..It's partially from the decapper rod pulling back out..lubing necks also helped..but I'm still making a solid contact to get a full resize with a newer die..
I have a question about the case plunger installation. You state that the curved portion has to be "past" the shell holder cutout. Do you mean to rotate the plunger slightly counter clockwise (or slide the curve to the left) so that the plastic curve is barely to the left of the cutout? Or just the opposite, so the curve is barely overlying the cutout? Thanks.
Thanks for your help on FB and here! You mention you have reloaded several thousand rounds already on the X-10, that is amazing. What calibers have you reloaded? Also, is that the new F-1 Single Stage Press behind your X-10, and will you be making any videos on it?
I have loaded mostly pistol calibers and some 223 so far....the press in the background is the FA M Press...it works very well...I do have the new F1 but waiting on my mounting plate to arrive from inline fabrication and then I will do a video on it
@@bragginrightsprecisionrelo346 ha ha that's was I was thinking but wasn't sure. Couldn't quite tell of there was something out I had been missing out on. I appreciate it.
Anyone have a problem with inconstant round OAL on the X10? I can't figure it out why. Every die station is setup perfectly, stop nut is not loose, but for some reason my OAL varies from 1.455 to 1.485 for 9mm.
Thanks for all the help
Very welcome
Nicely done.
16:00, I'm not sure about this "contour" alignment? Where the plunger should be moved`?

@@cdltrainingvideos3494 You are right...I just tried mine and same issue...I am reaching out to the engineer for you.

Wish they had this in my days of reloading. Expensive but looks like you can make it work.
This was vey helpful! Thank you!!!

Have you thought about fabricating a Mr Bullet Feeder mount for the X-10 pole for sale?
Just made a stand for mine out of an adjustable shelf bracket

When you do bottle neck cartridges does yours require quite a bit of pressure on the plate to get the correct shoulder bump?

It may be in another video, but what bullet feeder are you using?

Is it necessary to swage new brass?
No...primer pockets are only crimped after primers installed
I've gotta ask. What are the two blender looking pieces of equipment with brass in them to the right of the fx10 in the background ??
Lol they are cereal dispensers loaded with brass

I have a video specifically proper die set up...it's very specific on how you set it up
@@bragginrightsprecisionrelo346 thanks. I will check it out 👍🏻
Can the Green Hold down die work with multiple calibers or is it caliber specific?
That's the mighty armory Magnum which will do pretty much any caliber the press will load
Do you think a sizing die would work well enough as a hold down die for the priming station?
I was curious about the same
what hold down (green) die did you install on primming station?
Mighty armory
Can’t miss, just follow Randal’s lead.
