    Would love to see you redo this series with more info such as temperature outside when setting these up, feeding schedule, more water change info and the results of the ponds. Love all the work your doing for the hobby!

    That’s pretty cool. I never thought about putting a tank outside and stocking it with a few guppies. I set up a 40 breeder for guppies about a month ago and every time I look at it there’s more fry in it. I’m not sure how many get eaten but it’s planted pretty well. It seems like a bunch are going to make it. I just wish now that I would’ve kept to one species instead of mixing them up. I guess it’ll be cool to see what the ones that survive look like when they grow out

    How can I keep white cloud minnows or guppies in a tub over the winter?

    I just set up a 20 gallon tub in my backyard, I have a little fluval filter for a 10 gallon tank for the agitation. My question is do I need to set it up in a shaded area? It gets pretty hot here In Florida. I have a thermometer on the way but just by touch I can feel it's way hotter than my aquarium. Is there a certain fish that can withstand the heat better or should i burry the tub halfway in the ground to keep it cooler? Any help is appreciated! Keep up the great work Cory!

    Any chance you could film more pond videos for this year? Thanks.

      Stephen Bamber I'm hoping too, we are house hunting right now, so if everything goes alright, I may be able to get some ponds setup for the summer.

    So what would you recommend for a very very dirty, stinky pond? I'm thinking guppies of some sort?

    I have a 20 long tank set up to breed guppies. So far I have 3 in there and a small betta. (betta will be removed closer to baby time) I have a small bunch of java fern and another medium/large Amazon Sword plant. I've been looking at various sponge filters, but have no idea what size to get for this tank. Can you give me an idea on what size I'll need once the babies start dropping? Thanks :)

      virtually any size sponge will handle a 20 long tank. So one that is on the smaller side is what I would pick.

    Hey Cory .. Setting up a pond .. and without lid.. doesn't the fish get eaten by the predators ?

    • @AquariumCoop
      @AquariumCoop  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They could, depends on how you build the pond, super deep ponds don't have as much of a problem.
