YES!!! While I do always keep a Kaweco Skyline in my pocket, I do not really use a fountain pen for daily writing. I do however use them everyday for sketches and inking drawings. I LOVE demonstrators for that reason. Big capacity, I know what color ink I'm using, and I can see when I'm low. I'm currently using the PenBBS 494 and have had to deal with the cracking problem. I normally just fix it wit a bit of super glue and move on. I'm not sure that that model breaks down I've never even tried or thought to try and break one of them down. . Thanks for showing the 456. If I can get vac filled demonstrators that part swap...game changer!
I like penBBS pens a lot. I don't have this particular model but do have the 456. I like it so much, I sold my Pilot 823! Maintenance on penBBS pens is wonderful and the you can remove the section for maintenance is a definite plus. Also having nib sections available with different nib options is fabulous. As for eyedropper fill pens, I think the 323 is wonderful. Also the Majohn C4 is amazing! Great review, James.
I always appreciate your reviews. Took a look at the year of the tiger pen(was considering it when it landed) and was shocked at the price, I understand you mentioning the clear pens - for those wishing a pen for a reasonable cost.
I ran into a slight problem when pricing one of these pens. Sold out. This often happens with Penbbs due to their small volume production runs. Nice pens as you said but it seems they need to make a lot more of them.
Yes! Someone who didn't just jump on a Chinese cigar/torpedo shape being "a Montblanc copy." Indeed, the origin was Sheaffer's. As the shape was rightly originally Sheaffer's, who was originally the copycat? 🤔😁 PenBBS makes many great pens. Great showcase of the brand! Thanks! Hope your week goes well! God bless!
I am looking for an ink the colour pf the Vermouth pen. One that is saturated, that os not too light to see on the page. Do you have any recommendations?
2:11 Sheaffer did not invent the "balanced pen", an instrument with a distinctive torpedo shape for better weight distribution. They stole the unpatented design from a now forgotten competitor, the Houston Pen Company. Sheaffer shamelessly copied the most profitable pen made by William A. Houston. It was the Snapfil, billed as the first ever "balanced pen". A few years later, Sheaffer made the cap as pointy as the barrel in order to patent the design, so as not to be plagiarized in turn. History is written by the victors. You can read about the origins of the Sheaffer Balance on Daniel Kirshheimer's blog.
I have been trying for years to register on taobao to go to the penbbs store to find some different colours! I LOVE my vacuum fill in Winter night it is my favourite! I want to get another pen with a finish that is different than most. However I use a mobile phone snd must translate each page each time. I was looking at your videos and now I cannot find the link to the taobao penbbs store. Please share it with me? I love how you say God bless at the end of each video. The World needs God, and prayer, VERY MUCH! God bless you!
Re: Taobao. I haven't found a good way, yet. My overall experience was hit and miss, and I wasn't pleased with shipping costs with my last order (that was a while back). We definitely do! God bless.

Great review, James.
The 323 is a great pen, and a good deal.

God bless you, James. Hope your overseas travels were safe, but adventerous, and fulfilling. And thank you for the review.
It was a great trip! Got home safely Saturday.
I think it might be high time that I try a PenBBS! Thanks for the review.

The brown 456 is a great color
Lovely look, however I'm not huge into demonstrators. I hope it comes with solid coloured acrylic versions.
This would make a good looking black/silver trimmed pen.
Hey James. Thanks again for a great video. You showcase pens that aren't necessarily common on YT. What is the pen 3rd from left?
That is the PenBBS 491.

I'm just sad that the colors I want are always unavailable in the models I want. Only in the touchdown
I know that feeling. I’ve been hunting a 480 in Galaxy forever!
Be careful with that trim ring between the section and the barrel. It is not fixed in place and can VERY easily fall off and be lost!
