So I have an old iPhone 5 with this same boot loop issue. Replaced the battery with a new one thinking that was the problem. But now I’m afraid of restoring the phone through iTunes because of losing all my pictures from years ago that I never backed up onto iCloud. Will they all be deleted through the restore process? Thanks.

You can still do a factory reset on iTunes but that would delete all the data
