Make sure that the breeders have grits and crushed shells available to them all the time. If you haven't already done them. This will help with the development of strong egg shells. If you are ok with 1 viable egg then take the cracked egg away. If you would rather have 2 viable eggs then let them lay 2 new eggs.
Sorry to see this happening to you I wouldn’t really bother to put it back because most likely it won’t survive, as one of the brothers mentioned in a comment make sure you put the grit for your pigeons and there is no harms in leaving it for them all the time because grit doesn’t just help the hen to lay stronger eggs, but it also helps them to digests the food plus other benefits such as mineral salts
Sorry to say it but take out the cracked egg. It may get squashed and stick to the pigeon and also damage the other egg . Or you could cut your losses and take both eggs away . That way the hen will lay again within 10 days and you will have 2 eggs again.
@@ThePigeonLoft I seen you lppking to see if egg is good . after 7 days you will see blood vessels in the eggs after 10 days the egg would be darker. How long has the egg been laid?

Poor eggs
We were really bummed.
Check eggs after 10 days, then make a decision to throw away eggs. 😊 thanks for sharing 😎

We pulled out the cracked egg. We are just learning so one bird is ok for us. Trying to keep things small the first year.
Don't throw it out it will still develop when the baby grows u will see the egg go back to shape.
We left it in there with our fingers crossed.

It was laid about a week before we found the crack. We left it in there to see if it would be ok. It looked like the membrane was ok.
@@ThePigeonLoft to bad the egg is no good😞 But don't play with the eggs to much. You might discourage the birds to continue to take care of egggs
I know I have a cracked egg and I don't know what to do.
My pigeon drop their 1 egg can you tell me why?
I don't know. I've had a lot of tough luck with broken eggs. I think I need to get some nesting bowls.
