I enjoyed the new fiction corner section, it’s really useful
Can confirm that the Sagittarum guard heads fit IF you cut off the top spike - this is what I do for my Venatari and they look good
Awesome models
The backpacks are angled in a way that from a painting point of view they create a lovely backdrop. They might get in the way though, so even though I greatly dislike sub assemblies, in this case it might be worth it.
Looking forward to getting my hands on some of these!
I would love to see an updated video about your opinions on all the Custodes in one big release where you go through all the Resin and Plastic minis.

I’m conflicted, I’m not a huge fan of the armour itself or the weapons but I think the jet pack and the fluff is really cool. So cool that I made an army using these and some pallases and bikes. Essentially a group of those super fast flying custodies got stranded for an extremely long time on a dead world near the edge of the Milky Way, after 10,000 years they managed to pull resources from debris etc. To fix up a few imperial dreadnoughts to make it off world, when returning they discover what the imperium has become and they are filled with rage at not only the failure of the other custodians but the state religion the imperium has become. There goal is now to burn away the corruption in the imperium and start again. They work with all manners of xeno apart from dark Eldar and nids. Guardsman unlucky enough to be on a world marked for “heavensfall” the sight has been described in accounts as “ The purest form of death sent directly from the heavens” thousands of bikes and grav tanks and venatari enter the atmosphere directly disembarked from their ships lying in orbit. They swoop down with the missile salvos firing down upon their prey killing them in flame and fire.
This is amazing model, for adeptus custodes
you can make them look different when you change their skin color. That give a lot of visual variation most of the time. Think about their herritage. They are from houses ALL OVER TERRA. :) So realistically also people from all colors. :P
Bikes don't wear leg armor either, should they also get a 3+?
Didn't realise that until now. I guess they are less exposed and move faster.
I mean the bikers have the save for the actual big bike, these dudes don’t have the bike

Really not cool that these aren't available to the US and Canada anymore. Literally anywhere else in the world they're still available. Makes ZERO sense.

@@praisesol2740 yup, I noticed that as well. I contacted forgeworld/GW and they told me they're being repackaged. I suspect this model is going to plastic.
@@1nePercentJuice Damn. They need to get on top of that already, man. It's been the better part of a year since they dropped from the site. Did they give any indication as to when they're supposed to be available again?

Hmm those wings look a little awkward--they're so far forward or high on the back. These, like most of the custodes infantry, just miss the mark for me. Most of the range has a bit too much going on and the infantry lose their silhouette.
Valdor is actually--and I'll probably get flamed for this--the ugliest model in the whole range. Just detail for detail's sake with no regard for asthetics. Literally looks like a golden blob with a fur draped over it. Horrific.
Philip Why would you get flamed? We’re all entitled to our opinions and it’s a good thing we all don’t like the same things otherwise there would never be as much variety in our hobby as there is.
I am wondering if there is anything out of the Custodes range you do like?
@@Sup3rSaiy3n I quite like the vehicles and dreads, minus the plastic bikes (again, too much going on--the forgeworld bikes are much better). All the line infantry just look silly (to me) with their comically oversized pauldrons and coneheads with topknots. I mean really, when cataphractii armor shoulders look positively agile in comparison, it seems ridiculous, XD.
I think the only infantry unit I like is the Allarus terminators, minus the plume/topknot.
I do realize I'm in the vast, vast minority here, as I see almost universal praise for the entire custodes line.
stop throwing money at FW. magnetize. you being a whale buying 3 or 4 sets is literally why they keep pulling this crap with few options :(
