So what do you think of those backpacks ??? Ur input would be great help 2 me. I've spent 2 many months (years) deciding on the next pack... Not a easy choice for me cuz NO ONE .AKE ( in a ul pack ) what i want. And NO ONE IS WILLING to add what i want !!!!!. When I first started backpacking external frames was pretty much it... ( Well knapsacks...sweaty, day trip stuff imho ). Then I got a internal frame and its been a loving relationship since. But as my AR in knee's increases I must shave some. The pack is 4 -5 pnds on average. Id like to get below ,,, EVEN 1 PND,,, IF POS !!! Ur pack company is on my list.. but ya don't get a darn bit extra... The little things that makes life easier weeks on end !!!!! Its my home for crying out loud !!!! I NEED TO B ABLE TO " LIVE " IN IT. Molies r important, a large pocket on inner back of pack is very special. I can get used to a sack style but they r messy when needing something from inside FAST... NOT EVERYTHING can b on top. I like my pack to open w a back panel etc... but if I have to change I would like to know what someone really thinks about the fact they've been using for months and months and months and years Thats you !!!
I was a bit nervous when I initially switched from my Gregory pack to the HMG pack a few years ago, but its really been great for me. The biggest thing is just that the more pockets and compartmentalization a pack has, the more weight that adds. Different people pack their sack style packs different ways, but I can try to describe how I go about it. I put my food in the middle as a core that I pack everything else around. I pull out my breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the day so that I don't have to get into the Ursak during the day. I like the ursak because of the long tube like shape (along with being good for hiking in Grizzly country). I stuff the quilts around the food bag, then my sleeping clothes, then the rest of my clothes. The more likely it is that I'll need it, the closer it goes to the top of the bag. I keep my first aid/repair items in a ziplock bag and my electronics in a different ziplock. Both of those are near the top of the pack. I put my snacks in my hip belt pocket, lunch and extra snacks in the back pocket shoved around my tent. Other small items that I need to reach (spork, sunglasses, dog bowls, etc) also get shoved around in various pockets. I usually only have to get into the main compartment once or twice a day, if at all. Just depends on how well I planned as well as the weather. Hope that helps!

Ha! The bat story I saw about on IG, this is it 😁
Thanks for the nice shots (the videos, not the rabies ones)
I laughed at the last shot of the bat, imagining you standing below shaking your fist at it 😂
Thank you for taking me along on your adventure.
Definitely! Though I do think bats are adorable so it was hard to be too mad
