Congrats on finishing that challenging route! You and the dogs are brave and tough lol. I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Thanks for bringing those of us along who are not able to do these types of treks. More power to you!
Back in late November, we took an awesome drive from Phoenix to Tucson Sierra Vista up to Montezuma Pass, Huachuca Mountains, and Mt Wrightson back to I-19. We took many side trips off I-10, i.e. Saguaro N.M., Colossal Cave, Parker Canyon Lake, etc. The views were amazing! I recognized the many trailheads where I walked a bit of the AZT. The distance we drove, you walked with Prima and Skittles to complete the WWR. Congratulations to an amazing team!
Awesome! Congratulations! It’s incredible to watch you hike with two dogs! I can’t imagine how much you carried. I hiked the southern 400 last year, I’m preparing to hike the northern half now and to take my dog. It’s inspiring to watch you and your dogs. Congrats!
Congratulations to the team 🎉. Thanks for sharing your odyssey. Sponsored by Coca Cola? 😂. Now you have to walk back all the way, courage 😅 ! Waiting for your next adventure and the upcoming series.
I wish we could walk all the way back. Maybe if I was sponsored by Coca Cola that’s what I’d be doing instead of sitting at work right now 😬 Thanks for the kind wishes!
Hi ya Bailey !! I don't know about u but there's some thing WONDERFUL about opening the front door dropping my gear and going into MY shower 🚿 🤗. All while Jr checks out the house and backyard to be sure NO other dog or CATS have scaled the walls of the Citadel and remarks hi territory 😅😂. But I do have a serious question, Do u use socks on Prima when using shoes Always.. Mostly.. Just long stretch.. Never.. How much does Prima weigh??? Thanks 👍🏼 And congrats on another awesome video 🎉👏🤗
I watched your videos on the CDT and read your e book. I'm very happy to see the three of you continuing to hike big miles. Is the cart because the dogs are getting older? It reminds me of when my small dog got old. I strapped a large milk carton to the shoulders of an external frame pack. I put a towel on the bottom and even lashed a little umbrella to the side to give him shade. We do what we have to do to keep hiking with our friends. Many blessings upon the three of you. I look forward to more videos. ✌️🙂 How many miles have the three of you hiked together?
Awe, thanks for following along! I just used the cart in Southern Nevada and Northern Arizona because there was a lot of road walking, very long water carries (60+ miles), it was very hot (90’s), and I was struggling with dog foot management. It just made things easier logistically, but then I sent it home after Prescott, AZ. I definitely plan to use it more as the dogs slow down though so that we can keep adventuring when they retire. It’s hard to know for sure, but I think we are approaching 7,000 miles with more planned soon!
What a journey! Thank you for making these videos, I thoroughly enjoyed watching them. Huge respect to you and your dogs for completing this hike.
Thanks again for another super enjoyable series. Well done......and always love the music selections. 17:15 aaaaww:)
